Medicare is a scam, a black hole for money extorted from tax payers whiose only beneficiaries are the armies of burueaucrats and pollies who make their silly little careerahs out of such scams.As soon as the extra $2.4b the govt. has decided to throw down the throat of the ugly, obese sacred cow, has disappeared, which won’t take very long, the usual brigade will, like that dickhead little Oliver, scream ,` more’, omitting the , `please, Sir,’ beforehand.

The original justification for central government high jacking of medical services and related goods, and they are, like it or not, consumer goods,was the emotion ridden special pleading, people shouldn’t feel awkward if they might have services provided to them pro bono,that charity is, somehow a disgrace. Medicare is coerced charity on a massive scale, dictated by the socialist parties running Australia.

Modern medicine was not advanced and proliferated because of central governments. Progress was made from the 19th century and on because it was a free market enterprise, which is why England blitzed the way in medicine.
Medicare relies on a legacy not of today emerged in the past,the mores and standards of those who were once entrepeneurs, doctors now reduced to total vassallage to central government.And so many expect doctors to continue to deliver in no less a manner by command fiat.

During the 1930’s depression and the post-WWII depression years which endured into the early 50’s, doctors provided their services pro bono too many, for obvious reasons.How they managed to do so when not earning a cracker themselves during that period is pointed and should fill those who detest volitional charity with shame.

Then their is politics. Phelps and her successor having decided the function of the AMA is that of political party plumping for entrenchment and enlargement of that natioanl socialist scam . Medicare. The new political cadres of the AMA like spiv pollies , are living of a legacy from the past.
Patients, during that long span of economic deprivation, did make some sort of payment, in kind; veges, the freshly caught fish. During the 50’s and 60’s as people started to get back on their feet, those many beneficiaries of doctor’s dedication to their entrepenurial profession did make some payment back, dropping off cash or sending cheques tot heir doctor.Contrast such gratitude to the armies of ingrates and little dictators spawned by national socialist control over medical services. This shows the moral argument for medicare to be not only a strawman but black too.

By the mid-60’s most Australians held medical insurance and because of that economic scale, it was cheap. Many families on modest earnings held top coverage.

Medical services, contrary to the inference from that crude and vulgar crap notion, `health system’, are not an homologous consumption item. They are diverse.Until governt high-jacked the market, those services were low cost because run on market price driven thus consumer led basis and, moreover, there were no shortages and no forced rationing which marks medicare.

G.p.s, because they ran on a market and so business basis, did not face the bureaucratic nightmare which also stamps medicare. They were free to run their practices on whatever basis enabled to best meet their patients interests.Not so today. The case of the Brisbane docotr a couple of years ago who, running his practice to fit around those who make their way in the city, faced a $500, 000 penalty becuase he had `over-spent’ his centrally dictated allotment.Sod the bloody customer, one might say.

Entrepenurial docotr moreover, freed of capricious rules and dictatorial bumpf, close to their patients, had a good grip on picking out those for services pro -bono. To this, worked closely with surgeons to ensure high cost procedures and hospitalisation was provided to those then very few patients. When nurses were trained inhouse, they received board plus additional income in money.In return,hospitals’ payroll was much lower than today for they received labour out of trainees and, further, their were no demarcations which only increase payroll costs. Moreover, those who were unsuited to nursing left quickly. in contrast today, having wasted so much money on the bogus degree, hospitals now have difficulties: they have to train the `graduates’; the attrition rate is much higher since, as soon as the new `graduate’ steps into a hosptiable reality bites, not at all agreeable to the lifestyle, one might say, inculcated into them during their bogus degree years.And of course, good old real taxpayer, a real sucker for the spivs in governments to prey upon, loses even more.

Medicare is not only a huge sinkhole for throwing good money down the drain after bad, it corrupts people.From ingrates who expect something for nothing to careerahists who , at bottom, serve only their own interests in running the vast bureaucratic estate called medicare, and they serve nobody.Medicare is an obese, ugly viscious cow and it needs to be shot and ground up into little particles of dust.

Unions and governemnts, including conservative socialists of the coalition , try to make out it is employers’ fault if the real amount of income of employees is reducxing.Taxes, government consumption and inflation-govt. printing money, does the damage. Employers can only pay what a job is worth, they are not responsible for making sure that that profit (wages and salary) are stripped to subsistence level, and they are not responsible for making up the losses great forced by theiving governments and their fellow conspirators, from protected producers, protected consumers, to unions.

In common law there is no such thing as `industrial law’Questions turning instead on priniciples of contract and testing terms of contested contracts accordingly,it happens .IRC was raised to serve only two interests protectionsts -both protectionist producers and the `unions’. The IRC , in many respects, is only an enhanced version of the old 19th century guild: so long as the members of those guilds were secured, damn all else.

What happened at the Melton plant is not isolated. A meatowrks plant was closed down a number of years ago by a union. The company was paying its employees above award rates and paid more for extra services employees offered.Employees of that firm were in position to pay of the housing loans in very quick time, that is how well paid they were. The closeure of the Dandenong Heinz factory was due to: union thuggery and the high cost of that bit of extortionate crap, O.H and S.

When the union boss replied, on the interruption of the war memorial in the city this week, they too are like servicemen who have fought for better things, the short answer is rubbish.My grandfather, had, after WWII , on having to deal with a thug remarked to the creature: I went to war because of bastards like you.And you Know, folks, he was right, and it applies to WWI as well.

Having done it to Victorians under cain and Kirner, the Bracks led communistos are bent on doing it all over going, spending Victorians into poverty street once again, aided and abetted by thieving local councils.Local councils use the equivalent of speed traps to rake in revenues, parking fines. Like Bracks, they are aslo in the business of stiffing ratepayers with hefty increases in rates and sundry charges, inlcuding permit fees to lop a tree in the backyard, to paint fences and house and whole range of tin-pot dictatorial demands and exactions.

Oh, and what have happened if some local councils had managed to get away with charging telephone companies or, rather, Telstra, rates on telephone poles. You the consumer, domestic or business would have faced hikes in rental and margin charges on usage. The communisto boors of those council claimed: it’s the community which makes it possible for Telstra to put up the poles and use land in which they are stuck.

The reply should have been, back then, to those bird-fuck brained userers,: no, it’s the consumer who made it possible. The consumer pays for them not god almighty government. Indeed, the imposition of dictated `social responsibilties’ to wombats urban and rural upon Telstra is an act of coercion. For if Telstra were free to run as market thus consumer driven entity, then it contains the freedom to deny delivery, like it or not, to some for whatever reason.

Not that it is T.’s interests to stop supply to paying customers. It would have been jolly sport to witness and an object lesson to the swindling councillors if T. had cut off the services to the councilrs.that would make it pretty well clear what makes what possible. And don’t forget suckhead rate-payer. No business, no income no payee rates to the bird-fuck brained.Now back to the dribbling spivs in Spring St.

Tuesday’s herald carried the announcement the Spivs plan to spend $1billion on building tramways in outer Melbourne. $1 billion, they jest. Add on more for a lot of thigs which that $1billion scheme doesn’t mention. Then add on the losses on the taxa which will be extracted to pay for another choo choo set.Add on the increases in logistics costs to mums and dads and businesses as roads are handed over to bloody trams.

Bracks and Brumby don’t need to build train sets to send Victoria into another severe economic depression. Since they first came to government, courtesy of the three wise baboons, they have been in the business on spending more and more at an exponential rate. The recent scandalous increase in payroll is not novel.Even in their first few months of office they began increasing the taxpayer kept payroll at anb exponential rate.This is over, of course, such scandals as Saizeraya . Oh, and then there is that other great fat waste of money, the Commonwealth games.Only the economic recovery due to the Kennett govt.and their tighter ( though still too generous) control over govt. consumption, and the Brakcs-Brumby hikes in taxes, charges, duties, and `speeding’ fines, has kept the wolf from the door. But you can only spend , tax, spend, before something gives and it is those expected to stump up, businesses and their employees - fewer businesses, less business activity, fewer employees. And Victorians once again, can go back to beating tom toms when, again, they are forced back onto the streets as tramps.

One has not been remiss in putting up juicy tidbits these last few days.One has been playing bridge and, searching out source material, having put a request to a gentleman on a matter which one will proceed to wax long and loud, even if not lyrical.

Bridge is not even as smidgeon elegant as chess. Some call it `the social game’. This special attraction, the primitive tribal savagery of the notion things must be personal and matey shows up in bridge, partners in constant war with each other,high umbrage of opponents when you bulldoze them out of a contract during bidding, when by patient bidding you snare opponents in a trap.

As the international pro , Hamman ,said, it is all about crushing opponents will to compete, the only thing in common with chess.I was utterly ruthless,the only one to bid and make a 6 NT contract resting on two squeezes in succession,some game game contracts resting on low counts and several inserted finesses each, suckering an opposing pair out of a slam hand to go down myself only one in 1NT, a couple of slams on counts rather low.The few blunders made no impact on satisfying returns. Partner boggled and frothed a bit but had to swallow the bile down , there is nothing like golden winged Victory.

If the justification for extorting taxes to prop up ABC is to produce fine programmes which commercial broadcasters might not produce, that reason died long ago, its death announced by the coup de tat against Dame Leonie Kramer .`Friends’(retards)of Fat Bitch Aunty like to opine that in a free market quality broadcasting would disappear; I can only make of it, surely they jest.Having puntured this can of worms below by contrasting the Jim Lehrer News Hour and Business Report to the drivel spewed out by ABC ( and SBS in-house chattering as well as serving as the daily organ for the communist regime of Vietnam), let’s pry the lid open some more.

The Lehrer services are totally funded by businesses and it is run on the sniff of an oily rag, and they are high quality productions. Another contrast is Melbourne based classic music radio station 3MBS, finaned in the same way with additional revenue from listener subsrciptions. 3MBS is quirky yet enjoyable to listen to.Contrast Fat Aunty’s 3 radio stations.

ABC’s 2 a.m. radio stations are the same as the commercials, no stop chattering with a bit of muzac between sound bytes.No ads of course,and the jocks and jockettes are distinguished from the commercial breeds of jockdom only in the former let to indulge in their socialisto wombat navel gazing constantly.The few bits worth listening to like Rob Williams and his science show are miniscule interruptions to non-stop verbal assaults by spivs (one presumes in order to let the communistos catch their breaths before engaging in another sustained bout of verbal diahorrea).

The prospects for the a.m. stations can be put as follows. One or both should be cast out on their own, raise their own revenue on a commercial basis with or without sponsors, since they are not better than the commercial chattering stations.One no doubt would end up in the bankruptcy courts.The other, if their are so many `friends ‘ might survive.

The above suggestion would not appeal to the political parties for it would eliminate one of the many excuses they splutter for `legalised’ extortion and theft called taxation and government `regulation ‘ of broadcasting.Given the dim prospects the alternation is to shut down one and force Fat Bludging Auntie to set first rate radio programming - Fat Auntie would have a collective nervous breakdown because it would have to spit out its `anti-elitism’ dummy and, worse, establish balance to boot.

As for its F.M station, 3MBS contradicts the elief only a tax-payer kept sacred cow can deliver to classical tastes.To this, the objection might be: but what about the symphony orchestra and braodcasts of opera. Firstly cut out the middle man, in this case Fat Aunty and hand money straight to the companies.Relieved of the second charge, outfits like 3MBS and their patrons might be able to work out a sniff of the oily rag basis for live broadcasts.

This leaves T.V.Much of the programming on ABC is not superior to the commercials ( ABC to mark also running schedules of `anti-elitist ‘ soapies, and no further comment on its news and c.a.s programmes is needed).

In short, Fat Aunty is an unjustified taxpayer sapping indulgence for which there is no justification.It is time to shoot the bitch.
