Bracks and Brumby are sinking Vicotria once again.

Nary a month passes by without some very costly lunacy being announced by the Spring St. Commie Spivs. It seems they managed to announce two. Ilibcc has posted on the first. The second announcement of good ol’Keyneisan pump priming to ward of economic recession. I have banged loud and long on this matter, the spivs in Spring St are set to, once more, send Victorians careering over the precipice economic. What makes the economic larceny Bracks and Brumby are repeating, given both were involved in the Cain-Kirner govts., more ominous is the very problem of fiat money and the inconscionable practices of Central Banks, in this case Oz’s Reserve more on which Brookesnews carries an item.

The Herald Sun has announced the Spivs are planning a $10.7billion spending spree. First off, where is the money since the govt is on the verge of insolvency anyway. That Victoria will lead Oz into recession can be sheeted entirely to the Spring St. Spivs who have taxed and taxed and spent and spent on top of raising payroll and other high cost items at very high multiples. This is quite apart from scandlas such as Saiyzeraya and the latest, the squishing of commercial production of g.m. crops.

$1.7b war chest to ease economic slide

A $1.7 BILLION war chest is to be opened to help shield the state against an economic downturn.

The cash reserve will bring to $10 billion Labor’s allocation for capital works in its second term.

New major projects tipped to benefit include a convention centre and an overhaul of shipping infrastructure.

Victoria faces its biggest economic threat in nearly a decade as the Government frames the May 4 Budget.

Business has called for urgent tax relief, but Treasurer John Brumby had ruled that out.

THE STATE’S population base is under threat, possibly because of an exodus to the northern states.

THE 5.8 per cent unemployment rate remains below the national average for the 45th month in a row.

EMPLOYMENT has jumped by 8.8 per cent since Steve Bracks was elected in 1999.

BUSINESS and unions want more spent on infrastructure, but unions back more spending on government-funded services.

THE big-spending Government will be exposed to potential deficits if the economy slows markedly.

He said the economic statement would identify priority projects to build a more competitive state and aid the economy.

Govt. consumption is at the cost of capital, savings, and so production and, consequently, real incomes.

`Infrastructure’ is both protectionist businesses and unions code-word for `redistribution’/ `social welfare’ in their favour and runs like this: business occurs when govts spend money on `projects’ which engages businesses as suppliers and thus enabling them, consequently, to employ people, this describes Adelaide and why it is a city of mendicants and why S.A. is economically, like Tasmania, sclerotic.

What Bracks and Brumby are planning will only drive Vicotria from recession into depression, for the spending spree will compound the mess they have already created.

They are Spivs, economically illiterate, incompetent financially and their malkfeasance is ruinous, entirely.
