Political `science and journalism’ is, along with pyschology and sociology, right up their with astrology, inspecting gibblets of chickens and other such party tricks, vapid, barely amusing,and amazing to the IQ deficient.

Nonethless, the odd pearl, sheer chance, pops up. At last, this morning, after how many decades at it, Michelle Grattan has managed an elegant analysis:

Of course , any RWDB could have saved ABC, taxpayer rather, a small fortnune in appearance fees and proffered the same truth filled observation, they’re snakes in the grass.

It only took her several decades to reach the point where any thing she might have to say passes the blowtorch of fine judgement. Amazingly, ABC didn’t realise the force of what she was saying and so cut her before it was too late. A black day for ABC.
