That it is bunk, aaaaaargh. I have yet to come across any explanation why a shallow epicentre, of a rather localised focus, managed to result in 750 km strike slip that is interpreted, read interpreted, not observed, to have caused the Sumatran earthquake and subsequent tsnumani. As Colonel Potter would have concluded - Horsehocks! Interesting time to release their findings.

I have yet to come across any explanation why a shallow epicentre, of a rather localised focus, managed to result in 750 km strike slip that is interpreted, read interpreted, not observed, to have caused the Sumatran earthquake and subsequent tsnumani.
