Tomorrow the sky falls in

And ten thousand chickens will, apparently, run around as, well headless chooks, crying, the sky is falling in, buk buk buk buk.Melbourne is definitely a place to be avoided. Melbourne is headless chook personified these days.

Yesterday, the Archbishop of the Anglican Church lead an ecumenical group cry and mutual hug in session, waaaaaaaah.
`The victims’, `the Church stands fro victims’, her declared. Very odd, haven’t noticed the Archbishop running around on behalf of , for example, the victims of the Junta of Victor, the two pastors.

Oh, and don’t forget the `poor’ and the `disadvantaged’. Who are these poor sodding bastards who are about to be converted into export minced meat, the boxes stamped, Destination: North Korea? The Unions….come again, `poor’, `oppressed’ types.

Perhaps they are talking about all the `Industrial Relations Judges and Lawyers’ about to be booted off the gravy train of protectionism. Bwaaaaaaaaaah.

The weakness of the `industrial relations reform’ of the Howard cabiinet is, at bottom,, no govt. should stick their nose into it, should be a matter of common law only. Apart from that, the union bosses, Greg Combet in particular, are misleading what remains of their members, badly.

The bosses are moaning [ I have to dab that tear which escaped from the duct - a bit of dust in the eyeball], this is the end, employees are going to be sacked in their hundreds thousands millions, and put on a serfs pay. Anyone have a clue as to what a serf was paid in the medieval age, I haven’t the foggiest but, slaves in the ancient middle east were paid a leaky wooden hut, a few rags called clothes and a bit of leftover grain to munch on, and some other odds and sods which made life absolutely spiffing in those good old days.

Apart from that, central wage fixing in Oz has: seen many thrown onto the steaming heaps of the unemployed over the century it has been in force, and provided a cover for govts to do the very things which lead to, oh, depressions for instance. Won’t hear Combet running around shouting for Bracks for instance, stop sacking capital for his wunnerful scams or, the RBA forging money hand over fist, neither uttering the dreaded R word, dreaded by politicians that is , the other onerous crippling Oz’s diminishing prospects as emerging a rather very prosperous and contented lot.

I could walk Combet around Victoria, to a rather long listy of employers who pay above the `minimum pay rate’ anyway, and are very good employers, along with a large number of large companies. The union bosses really can’t manage to come to grips with the real economic damage being done by spend, tax and regulate govts., in the case of Victoria, investors are sprouting wings and beginning to flee.

Victoria will notch another first in Oz history. Not only are Victorians picking up sticks and leaving Victoria rather than be bludgeoned by what is shaping up to be a nasty depression [thanks Bracks] , Victorians will soon be the first to seek political refugee status.

Of course, there is also the trivial matter, apparently, trivial that is to the clergy, unions and the Junta of Victoria , of individual freedom.

Well, what are those considerations but the mere motes of tree but in the eye capitalisto, `consumerist’ pig men. Btw, one suspects a rather lot of Melbourne’s `clergy’ have a pin up of, Marx, Lenin, Trots Boy, Mao and Castro stuck in their vicarages and what-knots, and pray diligently, piously, morning, noon and night, earnestly, `Please halt the evil doers who promote the works of Satan’, an open, civilised spociety in which the liberty of the individual and property rights and almost non-existent `govt.’ are paramount’. They then conduct a ritual of sticking pins into anyone who can be damned - which is not a very good thing to do really, all those pin-holes in the wall point - doesn’t look good and painters are not exactly on a serf’s packet to hire these days. Anyway, overseas readers are now in the picture as to why they publicly, yesterday, held a day long cry in, and group therapy session.

Tyhe clergy support the Junta, not because they fail to realise economic liberty goes hand in hand with prosperity. The comment of a former New Zealand A.B., in Oz and during Kennett’s penultimate election came up sums up reasonably well the unholy notions of Melbourne’s clerics: `Of course econmic liberty translates into prosperity and the liberty of the individual and their capaicty to build a life worth living but, that means we are no longer dependant on God. Only in common suffering do we find and rely on God.’ Apart form the appallling heretical se sentiments and in very crude, ugly expresion, not remotely theological at all, they are most malicious , and rather at odds with chrisitan faith to the point of apostasy. To coutneance the reduction of many into desitution in the name of Christ and Trinity is not Christian, it smells of sulphur straight form Hell. But there you are, that is what Melbourne’s clerics are on about, why they are opposed to economic freedom. Thus, we have the explanation of why they also embrace the pol potian greenies and other rodents. Their motto might be: Better Red and Dead than Free, Happy and Godless. Yes, they do calim god speaks to them and tells them, He?She/Hit command is, All should live under Stalinist Dictatorship. In their record books they score the Bracks lead Junta and Alpha double plus, indeed, if they could overcome the Pope in Rome, they’d see him cannonised Saint Brackus now.

So, tomorrow, Melbourne’s fruitbats are to come out in force, run riot, collapse into fuming heaps of raving idiots , annoy drivers and those going about their business in the city. Very jolly. Why can’t they do something useful for once, during another of their days out and, say, rip up the tram tracks, smash bycicle tracks, rip up no smoking , don’t park here and 40kmh signs. But no - they will blub and cry, buk buk buk buk buk buk. They really are tedious, crashing bores.

Don’t the figures show that Victoria’s population is growing above the national average and that people are leaving at very low levels?

    Just a question.
