Economic Depression in Victoria is now in full view.
Readers will recollect, I predicted the first signs will be:
1.No new investment in Victoria - no investment in new production capacity was made in Victoria during the last financial year.
2.Rising unemployment where it will occur first, rural Victoria, where it counts, business. That has occurred and is now running in some areas at 13 to 15 %.
3. Falling expenditure at point of consumption, retail spending, retailers across the broad range of retail sectors have faced increasing losses each and every month during the year to date, with large numbers of retailers already having closed their doors permanently.
4.Contraction and disinvestment where it counts, production. Not only has there been no new investment in Victoria, it turns out, disinvestment has marked the year to date, with further contraction and disinvestment to occur swiftly during the next few months.
The media including the Bracks’ Govt. third fan club to Mao’s Red Age and Fat Aunty Bolshevik Collective, the Herald Sun, have been rather silent on not simply 1., 2. and 3. but on what they are clear indications of.
4. Was reported in a glib manner on some news reports early yesterday evening. What the media will make of it will be as nonsensical as a Kenneth Davies economic article in Mao’s Toilet Bowl Rag. Indeed, in the news report, a journo linked it to, `falling consumer confidence’ , which in turn is driving `falling business confidence’.
Mr.Gerard Jackson, of Broookesnews has doggedly set out over a number of years now, the Federales are sending Oz into recession, noting amongst many of them, indications such as `bottlenecks’.
Mr. Joe Cambria, also on Brookesnews, amongts other things, predicted a collpase in the Sydney Property Market as a blunt indication of where Oz is heading. That collapse in prices is now taking on a full head of steam.
As during the Hawke- Keating years, while the Federales sent Oz into recession, the Cain and Kirner cabinets made sure for Victorians it would be what it was in Victoria, a full blown depression. This is what the Bracks Junta , ably aided abetted by those mobsters Local Councils, is criminally culpable of.
Victoria is not only ahead of the other states in the slide, but it is already far more extensive and deeper than in the other states, and this is only early days. More-over, as one has already remarked, having barely survived the Cain - Kirner depression, enough business families were decided, should another pack of crimninal bastards gain the Treasury Benches and look set to repeat the Cain-Kirner feat , they will pull out of Victoria . What is now confirmed of 4. will, soon enough, turn into a flight of capital out of Victoria.
All four inications are now present and are on a vertical trend, the depression has arrived.
Victorians, once again, are in for very unpleasant, hard times. Still, there is an upside, all the socialisto whining professional mendicants will scream the loudest for, to spell it out for their benefit:
The carnage will mean, there just will not be the truck loads of private property the Junta steals so freely to keep you lot in your psuedo jobs. The smart types of that brigade of useless things will soon enough drop off the teat of Fat God Almighty Commie Cow Govt. and find themselves something which might , just might, see them ride it out. The rest, as usual, will wake up when it is too late and, the D notices are falling in Dah Govt. offices, agencies and what-knots like a blizzard. That will be the only cheering upshot of what is now the reality, Victoria is now in the grip of economic depression.
If it still does not seem to be so, be assured, it will become plain enough in very short time, only a matter of months now. The prudent are packing their bags already. Those yet to do it, get a leg on before you are hit by this tsunami, shift your assets where the prospect of losing the lot is not as ugly as it is in Brackistaniland.
By the way, another confirmation , before the latest news is, many in business are telling any who are contemplating it, do not set up a business in Victoria, unless you are a masochist with a perverse desire to discover life as a tramp. that is how bad things are already in Victoria, and it is only the beginning, and there will be no dawn, like the last time, for a decade or so.
Next year, those who’ve bought tickets for that grand swindle the Commonwealth Games, might cheer and feel good but they are mere feelings and will ring rather hollow as they face the grim life of the destitute.
