The CIS fully supports destructive carbon taxes.

Humphreys took exception to my article; “Centre of Independent Studies and the Institute of Public Affairs are covering for ‘alternative energy’ scams”. His feelings are hurt, as he explains. In explaining this, he avoids altogether answering substantive matters. On another site he whines, and deliberately told a number of lies. Humphreys is a liar. Well that makes sense, since the CIS is committed to the lie of man causes ‘climate change’ and to the massive fraud of carbon taxes.

Humphreys in the comments box wrote:

You didn’t understand my paper.

If you were rude and had a point, that would be acceptable. Or if you were mistaken and polite, that is also acceptable. But when you are rude & wrong then you just look like a tool.

Go re-read the paper slowly. Sit with a dictionary if it helps. You’ll get there.

1. I did read his paper, in December last year, and I did understand what he advanced, and the immoral, highly destructive force of the implications of not only what he advanced, but what the CIS is fully committed to.

2. The frist lie: Humphreys whines I was rude to him, and to the CIS. Humphreys is in no position at all to whine about manners. Here’s an example of why, and it’s from Catallaxy:

76. John Humphreys | February 25th, 2008 at 10:26 pmGerry Jackson is a muppet… and his weird little rant against me makes little sense.

He totally fails to understand my point… that the costs of a carbon tax will be offset by other tax cuts. It takes a pig-headed sort of stupidity to miss this while writing two articles.

He accuses me of inconsistency because I say that the evidence “suggests” AGW and that there is a growing consensus. 0.20c to the first person who can see the “inconsistency”.

And then he ends with a complaint about my brief introduction to Austrian economics. He makes no useful addition except for the tired old “Mises was better than Hayek” (sic) crap, and then complains about the title (which I didn’t pick).

I had wondered before why there was a falling out between Gerry & other smart free-market economists. Now I know. Gerry is a tool and a fool.

In saying that, Humphreys told a number of other lies. Firstly, what is Jackson’s “weird little rant” Humphrey’s complains of? It is this “weird little rant”:

Mr Humphreys responded with an email to a reader in which he said: “I never claimed that a tax was a free-market mechanism”. But I never accused him of making such a claim. What I did was call his approach “fallacious” and I used the following quote in support of my opinion:

Taxes do not result from a market process, nor do they reflect allocation decisions of resource owners . . . In other words, taxation is a method of intervening, not an alternative to intervention or nonmarket allocation. (O’Driscoll and Rizzo, cited in Efficiency and Externalities in an Open-Ended Universe, Ludwig von Mises Institute, 2007, p. 13).

On page 2 of Exploring a Carbon Tax for Australia Humphreys unequivocally states:

A better approach to encouraging the switch to non-fossil fuels is to put a price on carbon, which makes all alternative energies relatively more competitive and then allows the market process to discover the best new energy sources.

But this underlines the very point I am trying to make. He and the Centre for Independent Studies are promoting a tax that would override the market’s allocation of resources. Humphreys also argues that the tax would be “revenue neutral”. That is totally irrelevant. What matters is the impact of the tax on capital. (I use the term capital in the Austrian sense of the word. See How the Laffer curve really works. This is why we need to drive home the point that the carbon tax is not just a tax on energy, it is a tax on Australia’s capital structure and the process of ….

Read the rest of, Why is the Centre for Independent Studies supporting the destructive carbon tax?. The above extract demonstrates what Jackson wrote is no rant, let alone a “weird little rant” against Humphreys. Humphreys is trying to convince many that Jackson was being spiteful, and nasty, and damage Jackson’s reputation. The lie is obvious.

The lie is compounded by the curious fact, while whining and railing against others for being nasty to him, falsely in Jackson’s case, his comment on Catallaxy is not isolated in its ad hominem nastiness. He has a habit of being nasty to those who find his efforts in economics fallacious and for very sound, solid reasons. Humphreys is notorious for his poison pen comments.

Humphreys, as his salacious riddled attack against Jackson shows - “Gerry is a tool and a fool”, doesn’t attack opponents’ arguments. He simply smears opponents. Humphreys is in good company with, oh let me recall as an example… ah yes, that cretin, John Quiggin. It’s easy to mistake Humphreys for being a leftist.

What makes Humphreys protests absurdly silly is, for someone who is reputed to be a free market economist, he doesn’t recognise an Austrian School analysis when it is before his eyeballs. The paper for which he smeared Jackson happens to be sound, solid Austrian School analysis.

Humphreys told another lie - “tired old Mises was better than Hayek…”. I’ve never read anything Jackson has written in which he said that. Moreover, on Jackson’s articles, it is obvious Jackson never would make such a stupid remark. So, why did Humphreys pretend to readers at Catallaxy Jackson committed such a silliness? To discredit Jackson, and do so with a smear.

Now, I know who is defective in economics and it is not Jackson, it is Humphreys and the CIS. Here is my turn.

Humphreys finds my barbs against his rot and the CIS “rude”. Well, as readers can judge for themselves, there are many good reasons for not playing footsies with the garbage Humphreys and the CIS put out. What makes Humphreys’ position all the more indefensible is the clear lack of grip on capital and the blindingly obvious impact of taxes, inclusive of regulation; they destroy capital, and what is more, eliminates advantages of producing goods in Australia, and let’s demonstrate this with telling examples:

There is already a flight of capital out of Australia due to the hideous tax burden imposed by the Federal Governments, States’ Governments, and Local Councils. Heinz shut its Dandenong plant precisely for those reasons. In the 1980’s, ICI and Hoechst ran in 1980’s money $2billions/annum of production in Australia.

They shut their plants down because of the sacking of capital and all other burdens that wiped out the advantage they did once have in producing in Australia. As for supplying Australia with their products, their former head offices are now only small sales offices. They had warned the Hawke Government that that would be the upshot if the Govt. did not get off their backs.

Today I’m watching entrepreneurs doing one of three things in Victoria, in fact over the last four years:

1. Set up production in other countries, ruling Australia out. China is proving a very popular place in which to invest capital.

2. Shutting down plant in Australia and opening up in China, India and other countries.

3. Deciding to quit altogether and retire. I have a number of acquaintances who each made this decision last year. They will shut down their production plants in Australia this year.

I had an uncle, a classical Liberal, and who was an entrepreneurial manufacturer. He shut down his plants for the same reasons. He didn’t wish to, and he didn’t wish to turn his men out onto the heap of the unemployed, but it was either that or total ruination and he had his family to keep too.

There is one other thing to observe, on the administrative side, in my assessment, it is now such that it is beginning to cripple the capacity of entrepreneurs and their managers to successfully run firms. If the tax burden doesn’t finish many off first, some will still fall over because compliance is thoroughly sapping the capacity to run firms. This is matched by the rise of bureaucrats over market driven decision-makers in firms.

Now, that is occurring today, before the impact of the planned “Kyoto compliance” measures. What is horrifying is the sheer scale and destructive force of ‘carbon credits and trading’ or any other carbon tax. The force is capital destruction on a massive scale. No tax is ‘neutral’, marked by the fact they sap capital. As I wrote in the first item:

I doubt if you have a clue as to the damage being wreaked by all other taxes -inclusive of regulation on production in Australia. I doubt very much you have a single clue as to the flight of capital out of Australia and entrepreneurs and investors deciding to set up production in other countries.

That is apart from chaps I know who have simply decided to shut down their factories this year. This is before the devastation that will be wrought by such criminal frauds as carbon trading credit.

It almost seems lame to say, the CIS, and IPA, have no grip on capital theory, in the face of the horrendous ramifications of the measures they advocate. For I am now thoroughly convinced they do not even have an inkling of the sorts of realities I have just enumerated. I repeat what I wrote under the subsection, The Morality of the CIS and IPA:

What is truly objectionable is types like you advocating measures which are devastating in force, entail real cruelty against Australians, and are criminal in force. Types like you and your bosses in the CIS pretend to be free market economists and fighters, while in reality covering up for scumbags, and working out how to bludgeon modest Australians into the dust.

I assumed the meaning was plain enough but it seems expansion is needed. The carnage existing taxes wreak is savage enough. Carbon taxation, in wiping out capital on a massive scale, is nothing less than politicians, bureaucrats, aided, abetted and fully supported by the CIS and their pals, deliberately forcing large numbers of Australians into outright destitution. That will be the upshot.

These types have no moral compass at all - forget their defective economics. These types are so conceited they just don’t have clue about the realities many Australians have to deal with. Nor do they give a stuff about the fact they will be cuplable of deliberatley throwing very many Australians into appalling misery.

The reason they have no moral compass is, they are cosseted, professional dole bludgers, who have never engaged in real, market driven enterprises. They have never engaged in real production, and thus have never run the gauntlet of rapacious politicians and bureaucrats.

These cosseted know it alls have the hide to smear a fine economist in Jackson. These navel gazing spoilt brats are concerned with only themselves and their fat wallets. And what makes this even more unamusing is at least one of them, Mr. Peter Yates, has a direct vested interest in the fraud the Rudd Govt. is about to perpetrate. At least one CIS principal is profiting from the viscious, wicked, rotten fraud of ‘carbon credit trading’: Yate’s direct interest is no secret, it’s a published fact

Humphreys, as on each other point, avoids answering what is a serious matter, the CIS’ obvious conflict of interest on this count. Humphreys sees nothing wrong in this?!

Humphreys and the CIS are moral cretins. Their credibility as economists is, in my books, non-existent. Humphreys has only further exposed their dross by telling lies and then whining should anyone shred his papers for sound reasons.

Humphreys dares whine about rudeness when he slimes others, freely. What makes this funnier is my “rudeness” is rooted in the appallingly immoral force of what that lot are actually promoting. Humphreys suffers the sooky notion that irredeemably bad ideas and vile measures should not be robustly eviscerated and those who advance them dealt with accordingly. Rubbish.

Those sods can calmly advocate measures that mean ruination for many modest Australians. Not only advocate them, but also as their conflict of interest indicates, enrich themselves through Govt. imposing such savage measures. That lot is in good company with those scumbags called Ron Walker, Hugh Morgan, Steve Bracks, John Brumby, Hulls. Now we have little fat fascist Kevin Rudd and the “Brownshorts”.

What sort of men and women are the men and women in the CIS and IPA? Cowards, unprincipled, and venal are only a few adjectives in a very long list. No wonder the treacherous left love them and the HR Nicholls Society. Oh, dear, dear, dear, I hurt little Johnny’s feelings - here, have a tissue you great big sook.

While Humphreys wipes his nose, we can muse, he is a liar. He is caught red-handed in lying and that makes him a liar. And he has the hide to smear his superior in Jackson and whine about what I said. I am, however, grateful to Humphreys, because he is a wide open window for the public to peer through into the CIS, the IPA and Australia’s rightwing, and see them for what they really are.

Humphreys and the CIS, and the IPA have no credibility at all.

A correction involving a retraction

In, “Centre of Independent Studies and the Institute of Public Affairs are covering for ‘alternative energy’ scams”, I wrote Hugh Morgan had put that devotee of Castro’s Stalinist regime. I made an inadvertent mistake, as I should have written Tricia Caswell.

This retractional correction does not let Morgan off the hook at all. Tricia Caswell is also treacherous leftist fully committed to the cause of the Greens, which we have written is a front set up in the 1960’s by the KGB to undermine the West, and as we remarked in, “Destructive Western Governments (continued): Putin and the KGB are reaping the crop they sowed in the 1960’s, the Greens” (8/2/2008), the KGB is now collecting.

What sort of a thuggish clown is Morgan to seize shareholder’s funds to line that rotten cow’s bank vaults?

I recall sessions with city acquaintances. We were all purple with fury at what Morgan was doing to WMC, and the final insult was putting that treacherous, communist bitch onto the payroll. That is the man who now expects to receive another fortune, with his mate Ronnie “Biggs” Walker by Rudd simply killing of coal based energy companies and stealing billions of dollars from real taxpayers to prop up their proposed pseudo-business, a nuclear powered energy plant.

Well, it figures. Morgan was never an entrepreneur. It shows in his record, the destruction of WMC. What a joke that man is. All through his all too long years as CEO of WMC, he opined, “My job is to serve the shareholders”.

No, the job of entrepreneurs is to drive capital and do so by serving consumers by producing goods they demand at prices they value them at. Morgan only treated both with contempt, customers and shareholders.

Having blown away shareholder’ capital, and a few millions of it down the throats of Caswell and those rightwing professional dole bludgers in the IPA and CIS, no bells rung alarm in Liberal MPs heads, the man, and his pals, should not have even been considered to lead the Government’s fight for labour market reform.

Morgan and his chums are worse than buffoons. Tricia bloody Caswell. That man’s head should have rolled over the Canadian mine scandal, in which he wiped out a billion dollars of capital, and then he would not have had the chance to line that rotten leftist’s pockets with gold taken from shareholders, and wipe out the rest of their capital.

I repeat that instead of mollifying that man, shareholders should have rammed him through the courts to recover some of the billions he blew away. That is, the millions he threw down the gullets of Caswell, IPA and CIS. They were not his funds. He did not ask shareholders, he just seized some of their funds and threw it down the throats of scoundrels.

Centre of Independent Studies and the Institute of Public Affairs are covering for ‘alternative energy’ scams.

What do the CIS and IPA have in common? Answer: Hugh Morgan. Besides destroying WMC, then wrecking the campaign for labour market reform and inflicting great damage on the Liberal Party, what other little destructive schemes is he involved in? The answer is, ‘alternative energy’ scams.

The CIS is less than candid with the Australian public, and its donors. It, in fact, has a direct conflict of interest, detonating on its seniors’ full endorsement of Humphrey’s very defective paper, “Exploring a Carbon Tax for Australia”. The conflict is this: direct pecuniary interests in ‘alternative energy’ and ‘carbon credits trading’.

The upshot is the CIS has no credibilty at all, marked by a blatant and yet idiotic attempt to conceal their conflict of interest in what is a very serious matter. It is a matter that if executed by the Rudd Cabinet, means real misery for millions of Australians and real capital destruction on a massive scale. The dishonesty of the CIS is deliberate.

There are those who, when they have read this article, might even add, “they have deliberately committed intellectual fraud, in a lame attempt to conceal their real interests.” What the CIS has done is very bad. Read on and find out why.

A fascinating snippet.

A director of the CIS, Mr. Peter Yates, has an immediate vested interest in one of the scams. Mr. Yates is also a director of the ‘carbon credit trading company’, Peony Capital. Does anyone else involved in the CIS have a vested interest in Peony, and also any other scam called an ‘alternative energy’ or ‘credit trading’ pseudo-business?

Bill Gates and his wife supplied the funds for Peony. One never questioned Gates the entrepreneur who revolutionised the computer, delivering a great machine right into the home. Outside his forte, he has shown a propensity to silliness, even stupidity. Gates takes up leftists causes. Or, perhaps, he just wishes to feel loved. His cave in to”Global warming” is a nasty indication of shallowness, a nastiness heightened by his decision to back the fraud of ‘carbon credits’ and ‘trade’ in them.

Sucking up to the US Democrats hasn’t paid off, since they punished Microsoft or, rather, through Microsoft consumers of its products. What the Clintons and their fellow Stalinistos do, the Euro socialists adopt, and they stuck the knife in further, as the latest Euro kangaroo court ruling against Microsoft shows. It’s plain why: Bill Gates didn’t hand over a big enough bribe to the Clintons and Al Gore. Yet, Gates persists in appeasing leftists.

Peony is, curiously, based in China. How convenient, given Kevin Rudd is attacking allies such as Japan, while bending low over for the Peking Geratric Buggery club. All this and preparing to impose ‘carbon credits’ on Australians. It’s more than convenient, its a cosy set up for those who are about to fill their bank accounts on the back of another massive fraud. The purpose of Peony is to clean up in “carbon credit trading” and not capital investment in real free market production. Peony’s website is at least honest about the thuggery it was set up for:

Our focus is on achieving attractive returns by investing in sustainable development projects and then managing the carbon credits created. We make equity investments in selected projects.

Working in partnership with project developers, financial institutions and the Chinese government, Peony invests in CDM projects in China that have the potential to generate CERs.

and remaining fully involved in the project to ensure the maximum delivery of the CERs.

Ron Walker and Hugh Morgan; their ‘alterantive energy scheme’ to get hold of billions of dollars out of hard taxed Australians, courtesy of their best mates - ALP Governments.

With his mate Ron Walker, already wealthy thanks to the racket called the Grand Prix, Morgan too wants to be made wealthier than he already is via professional dole bludging. How? Morgan and his fellow scumbag called Ron Walker want the Federal Government to rob modest real taxpayers of their hard-earned pay and transfer the proceeds into their fat bank accounts through an ‘alternative energy’ racket, in the form of nuclear power generation.

The coal fired electricity plants are clean, low cost, very efficient, marked by the sheer capacity supplied at low prices – that would be even lower if it were not for Australia’s politicians and bureaucrats. Walker and Morgan consider themselves fine Liberal Party members. Ordinary members, and most modest Australians know what they, and their pals the likes of Costello and Kroger really are. Morgan considers himself a great defender of classical Liberalism and, crucially, classical economics. What Morgan really is shows up how delusional he is in this conceit.

Remember, Morgan is the man who in 2005 puckered up to ABC TV cameras, in the odd belief the camera loved him. ABC TV cameras did, as Morgan destroyed the campaign for Labour market reform and the Liberal Party’s 2008 re-election chance in a matter of a few minutes.

Morgan has showed his colours. He is not a genuine Liberal at all. He, as his pals, doesn’t give a stuff about economic liberty and general Liberal principles at all. They are concerned with only one thing, themselves. Neither does he give a stuff about the damage he has inflicted on many Australians, nor the economic destruction that can be wrought by satiating the Green Goddess of Death.

Not Hugh Morgan. No, with his fellow parasite called a Ron Walker, Hugh Morgan puckered up once more for the cameras, last year. He and Ronnie “Biggs” Walker announced through the media they were setting up a nuclear power company.

Ronnie “Biggs” Walker is no more an entrepreneur than Morgan is. He is cheify weify, for example, of the Fairfax communist propaganda rag, The Age. The Age was saved from a well-deserved fate, bankruptcy and closure, courtesy of Ron’s two other close pals, Steve Bracks and Brumby. Those two thugs shovel mountains of taxpayers stolen pay packets to prop up the Spencer Street Soviet’s “Pravda”.

It’s funny really, a ‘Liberal’ in charge of a Stalinist organ, which makes ‘profit’ courtesy of the larceny of the Bracks-Brumby Cabinets. A ‘Liberal’ who appointed the Trotskyite Jaspan editor of ‘Pravda’. A ‘Liberal’ who has made another fortune by the same type of mechanism, Bracks and Brumby transferring millions of stolen property into his pockets, using that exercise in economic cretinism, the Grand Prix as an excuse. Walker and Morgan expected Morgan’s mate, Peter Costello, to do for them what Bracks and Brumby have done so generously for Walker.

It might seem sad their hopes were dashed when Howard was defeated, and their fellow rightwing parasite, Peter Costello, denied his ambition, ‘power’. It’s not sad; Ron Walker has obvious advantages as Morgan’s partner. Walker shows how you can suck up to leftists and do splendidly: “Hughie; you’ll see, Rudd will come round and fund our nuclear energy company; the left are my best bed pals.”

What has to happen for their scheme to get up is not only Rudd transferring hundreds of millions per annum into their coffers. The economically efficient coal fired electricity production firms have to be priced out of existence. In their media conference, Ron and Hugh said just that: the government should force the price of coal generated electricity up to a level that makes sinking funds into nuclear power plants viable. This amounts to three things.

It’s a direct subsidy, through govt. using coercion to force prices up, and that is before other types of transfers. Capital destruction, and not only of the coal based energy companies. The coerced immiseration of Australians, from the cut in power supply, to shouldering the consequences of economic carnage, including more unemployed Australians. The editor of Brookesnews has covered the second fact only this week,

Why is the Centre for Independent Studies supporting the destructive carbon tax?

Next to the destruction of capital and the immiseration of millions of Australians due to the ‘alternative energy’ scams and ‘greenhouse gas reduction’ fraud, the rub is clear. The racketeers behind ‘windmill’ and ‘ethanol’ ‘firms are being made wealthy due only to coercion by State’s and Federal Govts.

After all, without the violence of coercion, those schemes don’t in free markets survive a casual idea tossing and binning it session. To mark this, Bracks and Brumby compelled all Victorians by an “Act of Parliament” to directly subsidise the windmill fraud they set up. Now Victorians have to pay for another fraud cooked up between Bracks and Brumby, the ‘desalinisation plant’.

What is the definition of ‘alternative energy’?
Answer: an excuse for an already wealthy, bi-partisan oligarchy to enrich themselves many times more by seizing real taxpayers’ private property.

How the ‘alternative energy swindles are mounted.

Faced with those bare facts, we see the difficulty faced by the racketeers. It’s not simply that their fraudulent operations could never be established in free markets. Most Australians would be very hostile at any attempt to impose them. The ‘bosses’ ( they put the Mafia to shame) have had to prepare the way through political propaganda campaigns.

The grand lie of man causes global warming has been one leg of a monstrous propaganda campaign mounted not just by the Greens, the Democrats, the ALP, and the media. The ‘wets’ and ‘ dries’ in the Liberal Party and the National Party also, having thrown millions of taxpayers dollars at it, inclusive of a deliberate brainwashing progrom which was directed at schools.

Coalition Ministers boasted in Parliament of their brainwashing progroms for school children. They probably studied Peter Garrett’s ‘bible’, the KGB handbook for the Greens, ‘How to corrupt children’). This is where the CIS and IPA come into the picture.

Morgan threw millions of WMC shareholder funds at the IPA and CIS. Morgan, bye the bye, appointed that devotee of Fidel Castro, and notorious Melbourne neo-Marxist, Joan Coxsedge as environmental adviser to WMC. It puzzles me why shareholders endured that man’s perfidious habits, and did not, instead of mollifying, him, ram him through the courts to recover every cent he plundered in order to line the pockets of Coxsedge and those professional dole bludgers in the IPA and CIS.

In the above linked article Jackson condemned the very bad paper by John Humphreys, “Exploring a Carbon Tax for Australia”. I had also attacked it, last year, in, “The odd couple”

What is pointed is, the IPA has not fought for free markets either. “Privatisation”, for example and one of their great ’causes’, has nothing to do with free market supply, and thus really serving consumers. It is about extracting as much revenue as possible from long suffering modest Australians and funneling it straight into the coffers of ‘government’. Bracks’ and Brumby’s treatment of the ‘privatised’ firms in Victoria typifies this real aim. The IPA in its “Bash Howard” bumper issue demanded what that lot did to Victorians should be made policy in all other states.

Like the CIS, the IPA’s position is not fighting politicians and bureaucrats over wrecking markets and with it, destruction of capital through regulation and all other types of taxation. No, as many an article in the IPA alone makes plain; they are concerned to ensure ‘government’ imposes the ‘right sort’ of burdens and this begs the question; What sort is the right sort?

Next to other destructive implications, taxation (regulation is a tax) is also a ‘backdoor’ means of protectionism. To follow the money trail, ask the question, Who benefits? Maintaining the lie of man causes global warming to conceal the aim, both the CIS and IPA are serving only the scammers behind ‘alternative energy’ ‘firms’.

Humphreys, in his paper, has only mounted a false excuse for what Ron Walker and Hugh Morgan seek; the ruination of coal fired plants, and additional massive capital destruction of many producers of other goods, in order to set up their grand swindle of nuclear generation of electricity. This is exactly what the CIS and IPA are leading up to.

It is blindingly obvious that is the objective because of a few simple facts. Windmills and ‘solar’ are totally useless for electricity generation. There is only one alternative to coal fired plants, nuclear power plants. Bingo! And the ugly mugs of those two parasitical scumbags emerge in full view: Hugh Morgan, Ron Walker, along with their leftist bed pals, Brumby, Bracks, and who else is behind their plan to once again defraud Australians of billions of dollars. Notice also, Bracks is now an ‘economic adviser’ to Rudd.

This is one plot the CIS and IPA are flying cover for. I am not saying that that is why Humphreys wrote the tripe he did. The question mark hangs over the CIS, which praised Humphreys’ deception on carbon taxes and co2 emissions to the hilt. Then, as set out above, there is Yates and Peony.

The Morality of the CIS and IPA

Let’s not overlook the gross immorality of both Humphreys and the CIS, and the IPA, in pushing positions that are hideous in the implications. Their morality is the same as that of Ron Walker and Hugh Morgan; they don’t give a stuff about the sheer carnage and immiseration of millions of Australians such vile positions entail. From Jackson’s article, one formed the strong impression Humphreys resents Jackson for his lucid demolition of what is a bad paper. I advise Humphreys of this:

What is truly objectionable is types like you advocating measures which are devastating in force, entail real cruelty against Australians, and are criminal in force. Types like you and your bosses in the CIS pretend to be free market economists and fighters, while in reality covering up for scumbags, and working out how to bludgeon modest Australians into the dust.

It’s worse. As we have seen, it turns out that at least one of the prinicpals of the CIS has a direct, vested interest in Governments imposing the highly destructive, wicked measure of ‘carbon credits and trading’.

Types like you put that little fat fascist called Kevin Rudd, and green guru Peter “ Corrupter of Youth” Garrett and his female Gaiae priestess Penny Wong onto the government benches. Types like you made scumbags such as Ron Walker wealthy men, out of stolen private property. Types like you have helped the Kennett - Stockdale and Bracks and Brumby Cabinets steal billions of dollars from Victorians through such deceptions as privatisation, instead of returning production to free market enterprise resting on unfettered private property rights. That is the morality of the IPA and CIS.

The claim man is causing global warming is a lie. It rests on lies and not science. First Coalition Ministers, now ALP Ministers under Kevin “Mussolini” Rudd are using the lies as an excuse to burden Australians with more regulations and smash capital. Those liars Bracks and Brumby lead the way, in punishing Victorians with windmill scams, and desalination plants (instead of letting free market entities build massive new dams), and other controls.

The Coalition ministers Kemp, Campbell and Turnbull joined in these criminal actions against Australians by setting up the ethanol scam. It’s a scam fully supported by driveling fools such as Andrew Bolt (another parrot for the racketeers behind the ethanol syndicates falsely called businesses). And the CIS and IPA are pushing for more ‘alternative energy’ swindles to be perpetrated by politicians and bureaucrats against Australians. At least one of the CIS’ principals is a direct beneficiary of these vile schemes. How many more in the CIS, and for that matter the IPA, have direct interests in the perpetration of these massive frauds?

They, the IPA, CIS, and the HR Nicholls Society are ‘defenders of Liberty’, and ‘Leading free market economists’? To use a good old ‘ockerism’, bullshit. But its worse than bullshit.

The pecuniary interests of Ron Walker, Hugh Morgan, Rudd and his Cabinet of “brownshorts”, Steve Bracks, and the CIS and its Yates and his Peony directorship intersect. This is what Humphrey so badly defended in his paper, an oligarchcy of rotters. This is the real reason for the existence of the IPA and CIS, to justify a pack of wealthy cretins trampling over Australians, as they get on with schemes the modest man would assume are merely the mad dreams of insane cleptomaniacs

Postscript.

Given the CIS’ interest in seeing Federal and States’ Govts. perpetrate massive frauds, using the total lie that Co2 emissions causes global warming as the excuse, it is clear why they had Humphreys attack Jackson’s demolition of their nasty ‘case’ for carbon taxes and ‘trading’, cowardice.

In view of his very bad paper, they must be as thick as two bricks to have Humphreys to cover their backsides by attacking Jackson’s solid rebuttal of their nonsense. Why did they have him do that? Did they believe that that way they wouldn’t be found out if they hid themselves in their bunker and sent boy Johnny out to exchange blows with Jackson?

If so, here we are, I have uncovered the most illuminiating revelations set out above. In that case, they haven’t been merely found out, they have been caught red-handed in their grotty act of deceit. A deceit papered over by a shabby attempt to conceal their disgusting, highly immoral conflict of interest.

Gee, if I could unearth the matter effortlessly, how many others have also discovered their ‘dirty little secrets’? The power of the internet seems to bamboozle them.

Didn’t it occur to them that in view of how bad his paper is, any attempt by Humphreys to rebut Jackson would only pulverise the slivers of glass from the window he smashed unaided in that paper? Apparently not. They at the CIS can rest assured, Humphreys has succeeded in throwing more bricks at the thoroughly shattered remains of their credibility.

Anyone who is a friend of Mr. Jackson might bring this article to his attention. On the strength of his news weekly, I believe he will find these revelations highly amusing.

The CIS caught red-handed.

Kevin “Mussolini” Rudd’s another statist or a fascist?

It is not a question really. There is no distinction in force between using ‘fascist’ and ‘statist’, but I have received objections to the use of the term fascism. The first is, the left have succeeded in nullifying the word, and the second is, readers might find it offensive, and so not read on. Well, a spade is a spade and not dining cutlery, and the Rudd Cabinet is a fascist cabinet. Here are the reason’s why:

The cult of nature, for which millions of Australians are to be sacrificed. We don’t need to expand on this here.

Corporatism
Wayne Swann in Parliament stated: foreign investment in Australia, while “welcome”, ‘must meet national aims’. In free markets, investment is sinking capital into production of capital goods and final goods, to satisfy what free men and women value and not what nasty, little cretins like Swann, Rudd, Crean, Ferguson and Penny Wong dictate Australians may or may not have.

Secondly, the suborning of enterprises to carry out centrally dictated ‘economic plans’, much assisted by vainglorious businessmen who believe supping with the devil is a good thing - until the devil seizes hold of the fork and eviscerates their firms.

Another symptom is Rudd’s dud, the 1,000 strong conference of nobodies who are also enamoured with the idea of playing at being little jackbooted dictators. Though, the real point to the ‘conference’ should be obvious, and it is not Rudd’s rubbish about -long-term vision’.

Real, entrepreneurial companies, take a very long -term view of things. That is why, for example, BHP, or ICI sink billions of dollars of capital, even build whole towns as aprt of their pay to labour. What we have involved here is information informing decision making that only classical economics, now conducted only by the “Austrian School”, explains. The sort of information required that only free markets generate. Of economics, Rudd, as is his finger Puppet Wayne Swann, is entirely ignorant.

No, it is to prepare a nastier surprise of making Australians as responsible for the actions of Cabinet as the Ministers themselves. The devastation that will be wrought by Rudd’s ‘Watermelon Red’ policies, his national socialist economic planning, his policy of pricing many Australians onto the scrap heap of the unemployed (and these are just a few of the items by which he will immiserate millions of Australians), will be depicted as the ‘collectively agreed will of the people’ and ‘brainstorm’ of the visionary 1000. Rudd, furthermore, will thus immediately blame the 1000 nobodies for the hell he is preparing to set loose.

That fascist slob, who threw millions of Americans onto the bonfire of unemployment, FDR once said, “together we will fight the depression and win”. How odd it is, that line is frequently uttered by Rudd, ” together we can fight inflation… together we can beat this”. Even odder, that expression has been favoured by wall the worst dictators in history.

Nationalism, not patriotism, stamps the Rudd cabinet.

It cannot be ignored the Howard cabinet, in its last two terms, began veering onto the Nationalist Socialist road. With it, organised sport, and the cult of the ‘body’. To this, Rudd has announced Australia must host a World Soccer Cup tournament as a matter of national pride and, I suppose, “group bonding” - (”boonga boonga” and “oom” to that rubbish).

Notice the collectivist strain, made all the nastier, when inflation is not, for example, prices rising, but the RBA forging money hand over fist. Contrary to Liberal Party fascists, Swann’s complaint about inflation is not mistaken. Unfortunately, just like Liberal fascists, the ALP ‘brown-shorts’ are ignorant as to the cause, and thus the cure. So, Rudd and Swann, can trollop around the country, mouthing nasty little slogans, but like that equally, rightwing fascist ignoramus Peter Costello, they won’t stop inflation.

In the meantime, they are setting up commissars of pricing. Indeed, Rudd has a bureaucratic solution for everything. He is a committed central planner and he will succeed as central planners do, in the wreaking of economic carnage.

The top note is the incipient totalitarianism in the Rudd-ALP fascist ‘grand vision’, and for the Rudd administration to proceed as they declared, increasingly naked totalitarian force is inevitable.

As a summary of what is plain to observe, the real question is, how did things reach such a pass, that a Shadow ministry of fascist cretins be flung into Cabinet?

The answer is the left wing and the right wing, from Malcolm Fraser and on, have completely betrayed liberal principles, and with it completely wrecked the Liberal Party.

The wash up was the likes of Costello, Kroger, Nick Minchin, Nelson, Ian Campbell, David Kemp, Chris Pyne. These conceited, ignorant, self-serving wreckers were complemented by the equally culpable CIS, IPA, HR Nicholls Society, Andrew Bolt and Janet Albrechtson. This lot not only wrecked the Liberal Party and handed victory to Rudd and the ALP. That lot put in place many of the Fascist policies Rudd is now busy intensifying and adding to.

Yet, that was the whole point to Albrechtson’s neo-Nazi call for a ‘rightwing’ institutional coup-de tat. That lot have never been Liberals. There aim has been the same as the Left’s, power and incipiently totalitarian control over Australians. These parasites prepared the way for Kevin “Mussolini” Rudd.

The Bracks-Brumby regime of Brackistan has announced another bolt to ensure its totalitarian aims. I’ve long said that Bracks, Brumby and Hulls were bent on totalitarianism. I’ve been ridiculed for it in the past. Well, the is freely bandied today by the media, by serving policemen, and others who until today, would never have said that against Bracks and Brumby administrations.

I said some time ago Brackistan is an indication of where not only the Federal ALP but the Coalition parties were heading. Well, the day has arrived, and it comes in the form of that oleaginous liar called Kevin “Mussolini” Rudd.

It wasn’t for mere amusement I set the line in the title banner of this site:

Free markets, capital, absolute property rights, and entrepreneurs are the bedrock of civilisation. They dragged man out of the gutters, civilised him, dignified him, gave him liberty.Socialism is an excuse to pauperise untold millions, enslave untold millions, murder untold millions, over a century now: Why has the Liberal Party shifted to the code of savages?

Federal Treasurer Wayne Swann is a racist?

Yes he is. He showed his colours when he announced the Rudd cabinet would seize the private property of Papuans. I am referring to his vicious machinations to stop an Australian company and local landowners proceeding with a mining venture along the Kokoda Trail, PNG. This is apart from the threat he issued against the company, should it proceed.

The venture means not only good, well paid jobs for some of the locals. Since the locals are the landowners of the site, it also involves a very rewarding proft sharing arrangment the company happily, volitionally struck with them. Swann said they the “natives” should, instead, be content to remain bag carriers for spoilt Australian brats, and other thumb-sucking drivellers seeking the ‘oom experience’ to be had, apparently, from walking the Kokoda trail.

‘Walking the Kokoda trail’ made easy be natives, who should be grateful to carry bags. Wayne Swann said ‘ the tourist dollar’ is “sufficient income for them”. They don’t want to remain destitute. Tourism is not investment. They wish to prosper, and this gets up the nostrils of Australian politicians and their ‘watermelon red’ pals the Greens. The monkeys pretending to be Liberal Politicians are, again, noticeable for their silence on Swann’s disgusting action.

Swann went further. He said, they should not only be content to be bag carriers for conceited, delinquents pretending to tap into some mythical beast called a great (Anzac) Spirit, but the Australian Government could pay the PNG Government ‘compensation’. Gee, that would be nice for the bureaucrats and politicians feeding at another hogs’ trough in Port Moresby. It won’t of course be nice for that much abused and fast diminishing rare species Australian taxpayers. As for the local landowners, they can get stuffed, and the officers of the mining company can be thrown into jail should they defy Herr Rudd and his finger puppet Wayne Swann.

What Swann is saying is this: the Australian Government will strip the locals of their property rights, and reduce them to permanent mendicancy, relieved by the nasty job of carrying bags for tourist trash form Australia. Tourist trash that simper about their precious feelings, on returning form PNG, and their great ‘oom experience’. The natives must be ingrates for desiring something better than that.

Yet, that pretty well sums up the history of ‘Aboriginal Policy’ from the 1970’s in Australia. That is, Aborigines have been condemned to eternal mendicancy, in the name of keeping them in their place as ‘noble savages’. It shows, billions of dollars of transfers poured into the great scheme of preserving them as walking archaeological stiffs, with the result of large numbers of them imprisoned in the misery of primitive tribalism, desuetude, squalor, and worse.

Kevin Rudd can shove his ‘Apology’ up a piece of plumbing, for that rests on a pack of lies purveyed as “history”. The policy of reducing the Aborigines to a living hell, though, is something to apologise for. Funny this, because that is what Swann would like to do PNG villagers.

As I said before, I cheered when the locals closed the Kokoda Trail to Australian Tourist trash. They want mine, they want to prosper. Swann is a racist.
