Centre for Independent Studies has two fan clubs

Greg Lindsay, typical of the zombie right, did not expect his lobbying for Co2 taxes would be challenged.

The rotting ‘Right’ do not believe they should defend any proposition they put. By proposition, readers will understand it is an act of charity to name their garbage propositions. Much less do they expect they should have to fight. This is why they lick the boots of the hard left and their pretend foes in the ALP. Pretend foes? They stick to each other like glue, they fear having to face Australians out in the open.

The myopic Right call debate, criticism, and just fights disloyal. What has loyalty to do with it. In general, all are informed by economic action and its complelement law. Membership of the Liberal Party is because of principles and not obedience to a pack of venal pillocks.

Though the diseased Left desire the impostion of the collectivist ideal, as far as one is aware, Australia is still, at bottom, a Common Law country, in which the individual is absolute and all their real rights - despite not only the diseased Left’s efforts to destroy them but also the Statist Right’s contempt for the genuine foundations of Liberty - and let’s check this:

To reiterate, zombie Right MPs clamoured for suppression of free speech over the internet. These are of the same stock of bastards who, in the name of the Liberal Party, sold out the real rights of Victorians by preparing the anti-bill of Rights and the Blasphemy Act Bracks rammed down.

The Kennett administration not only turned the ATO and the STO, with their advisers drawn from the Institute of Public Affairs and the Centre for Independent Studies, into a crime syndicate, and prepared the anti-bill of Rights. Having previously put it as a question, it can be concluded it is true that they also prepared the Blasphemy Act, as the timing suggests. It can be assumed to be true since none of them are willing to state in public that they did not do this.

This lot are the same in such crucial matters as the treacherous Left. The treacherous Left are making a concerted effort to have Andrew Landeryou’s site shutdown, and for the same reasons the absolutist Right desire to outlaw free speech Australia wide: they don’t like being exposed for what they are. This is another demonstration of why one has frequently remarked the distinction between Left and Right is only the former are believers in another savage religion called socialism. [1]

The Right don’t believe it but do not object to inflicting this barbaric religion because their motivation is themselves, their egos, their wallets, their lust for power, and to be adored by mere kulaks. The last motive is, amusingly, an affectation of the diseased Left to convey the lie that they really are decent types who humbly serve the modest man.

Oh, the treacherous Left seek adulation too. But, they are not blind to the fact that modest Australians detest them and that the only reason why they are ascendant is the cleptomaniacal Right are loathesome, lying, treacherous bastards too.

To purvey the appearance they the narcissistic Right are universally adored and loved, they have encouraged fan sites. Three of them are Murdoch newspapers sites and to whit, in the persons Tim Blair, Janet Albrechtsen, and Andrew Bolt. Two sites are dedicated to the anti-free market, lobby company called the Centre of Independent Studies. They are:

Catallaxy
Australian Libertarian Society.

Feeling their hurt, the second have come out batting for their heroes. Can the limp wristed bat?

I’d intended to do what Humphreys claims he cannot do, and this is not correct either.

TerjeP is also a devotee of libertinism, which is not genuine liberalism. It’s the Australian version of the American intemperate, confused sorts, who happen to plump their votes with the US Stalinist Democrats Party. TerjeP has saved me the time required, not much, to call up some and only some of the damning evidence. I thank TerjeP for acting as gofer.

In linking the page, it is clear TerjeP also doesn’t realise the grotesque errors in economics committed in the not simply Humphreys paper, but the CIS advocacy paper. Neither, the distortions, fabrications, falsehoods and the transparent self-serving evasions Humphreys persists with.

To line them up, the articles linked in Centre for Independent Studies are lobbyists? (20/8/08):

By G. Jackson:

Carbon taxes and Keynesian insanity

Why is the Centre for Independent Studies supporting the destructive carbon tax?

The real costs of the greens’ carbon tax

The CIS propaganda issued through the daily blurter Jon Humphrey:

Exploring a Carbon Tax for Australia

Courtesy of TerjeP, this act of self-strangulation on the Australian Libertines Society,

The Gerry chronicles: carbon tax & bad economics

These brain envious cretins of the ALS direct preference votes to the ALP. This is the scrapheap from which ranks Greg Lindsay selected his hot ‘free market’ gun to front the ‘let’s destroy Australians through Co2 taxes’ lobbying effort.

[1] It is extremely difficult to distunguish between bloodsucking parasites of the Right occupying precious Liberal seats out to suppress free speech, their “we’ll put lawyers onto anyone who exercises their right of free speech” professional dole bludgers in the anti- free market clunker tanks and hard Left bastards who continue to try to shut Andrew Landeryou down and abusing the law in the attempt (as Landeryou has related). Anyone who pretends, even on this score the sadistic Right are any better than the treacherous ‘Right’ is not paying attention to what these cretins really are.

EXCLUSIVE: The OC Blog of Freedom Granted Everlasting Life By National Library :

“Comrades in the employ of TheAgeBC and their running dog ALP preference biatch Stephen Mayne have disputed the OC’s right to publish news and political commentary.

“They believe in free speech as long as it agrees with them, they talk human rights at inner-city all-night dinner parties but when the day dawns they pull on the shiny black boots of censorship fascism…”

  1. See what else Davidson says about you.

As regards your friend Mr Jackson, all I want to say is that he has no professional qualifications, no professional affiliations and no professional publications. He is, at best, a gifted amateur - and a fine amateur he is too. His responce to Humphreys was unacceptably poor - reflecting his amateur status - and his spear-carriers have further undermined his previously good reputation as a commentator by their siliness.

  2. the ALS direct preference votes to the ALP

The ALS is not a political party and it does not direct preferences anywhere. In so far as it’s members informally advocates for any political party it would most typically be the LDP but there is no rule saying who members should vote for in elections.

Both John Humphreys and myself did represent the LDP as senate candiates in the 2007 election (John in Queensland, me in New South Wales) so perhaps the comment is in relation to that.

It’s true that in senate preferences the LDP put the ALP ahead of the Liberals in Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia. However we put the ALP behind the Liberals in New South Wales, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.

More details on LDP preference flows are outlined here:-

TerjeP is also a devotee of libertinism, which is not genuine liberalism.

This is no doubt designed to be provocative. However you have not offered any evidence or context so I won’t waste breath refuting the point.

The myopic Right call debate, criticism, and just fights disloyal.

Again a specific example with names and quotes might enhance your argument.

  3. Excellent post! Quite enjoyed reading this, and it is good that the gaggle at Catallaxy are engaging in monologue in the comments section.

I regularly read Catallaxy because all the comments, where they engage in personal abuse of each other, are highly entertaining.

However, I doubt that they do themselves, or their mentors and front groups, much credit through all that.

  4. Strider, I have occasionally commented at Catallaxy myself - but I find the tendency for personal abuse somewhat off-putting. If I wish to read inventive invective I go for the British swearbloggers like bastardoldholborn.blogspot.com, devilskitchen.me.uk, obotheclown.blogspot.com, and mreugenides.blogspot.com/2008/08/avoiding-festival.html. I don’t swear personally and listening to one of my brothers swear every three words is rather tedious - but they take profanity to a new level amusement.
