As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as “Euro-English”.

In the first year, “s” will replace the soft “c”. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard “c” will be dropped in favour of “k”. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome “ph” will be replaced with “f”. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter. 

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent “e” in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

The consumption fallacy states consumer spending drives growth. If this were true, why do entrepreneurs raise capital funds? The differences between the “stimulus’ spending of each “tier of government” and Australians spending is, politicians and bureaucrats are dictating consumption. Secondly, their dictating consumption rests solely on coercion. However, as they continue on their spending sprees, manufacturing is still collapsing.

On Friday and Saturday, I had interesting conversations with some manufacturers. Those still surviving that is. Despite what Rudd, Swann, and the media commentariat say, these guys - entrepreneurs are in no doubt Australia is deep in recession. They are in capital goods and consumer goods production. It’s a miracle any production of capital goods survives in Australia because:

Even before recession, caused by what inflation is - central banks’ expansion of money (try this at home and see what happens to you), the truth is manufacturing has been pounded into the ground with regulation and taxes.

The gentlemen I spoke to are more than worried. This time of the year for the firms they run happens to be their major funds build up and planning period. They are watching their builds being diced. I cracked to some of them: “Well, if carbon taxes are rammed down no-one need bother turning up because there won’t be anything to front up to, but we’ll be too bloody busy trying to survive on nothing.”

Amid the wry smiles the following could be heard: “F…… politicians… bureaucrats. Bastards.”

On politicians, they didn’t distinguish between the Left and the “Right”.

Peter Costello, Nobel Prize wining Jurist and Economist and the likes of the Institute for Public Affairs, Centre for Independent Studies, HR Nicholls Society and Quadrant magazine are culpable for what is a devastating disaster. The hard left are where they are today and manufacturing is being eradicated because the Clique, who have wrecked the Liberal Party, are:

Venal, unprincipled, economic ignoramuses busy at only one thing, ensuring they are “OK” by hoovering real taxpayers and sending begging letters to company directors to fill their bank vaults with share-holders’ funds. These guys know the meaning of principal principle.

An uncle, who was a manufacturer of capital goods, gave this sound advice: “To be an entrepreneur in Australia is penal punishment. Don’t do it.

He was dead right. The difficulty is, if none were prepared to engage in markets, there would be no Australia. It would be a land of the immiserated fighting for mere survival. Carbon taxes will do that, reduce Australians to savagery.

It bloody well is penal punishment. During much of my lifetime, I have watched firms butchered by lousy “policies”. Indeed, the whole point to schooling is to eradicate the protean entrepreneur and ensure all turn out dutiful serfs of politicians and bureaucrats. Idolaters of the “State”.

Not only the hard Left, but also the Clique holds, Australia will be truly great when all production is destroyed and smelly oafs otherwise known as Australians are made to keep their place as the serfs to them. The Clique only spelled this out in, for example, the garbage they asserted as the case for free labour markets. No, truly, this lot spot a factory and they call it a criminal offence.

Professor Sinclair Davidson is too busy trying to find out what a Laffer curve is to be bothered answering the analysis of Jackson (Brookesnews), an over-valued currency could be hollowing out manufacturing and overall the production structure of Australia. besides, along with his mates in the Clique, Professor Sinclair Davidson is also far to busy smearing Jackson than to waste his time on anything so trivial as debate on very grave economic matters. He’s a “professor”, end of debate - as far as the clique is concerned. Man, do they get upset when someone has the nerve to tell that lot the truth, they are not capable of debating anything even of ordinary merit.

This morning there was an interesting announcement. Hands up all who assumed Australian beef producers have not a comparative advantage but an absolute economic advantage?

I did. Well, now they don’t. This morning on the radio there was a brief report, beef will be imported into Australia. Beef in Australia is now internationally trade-able.

It was mentioned that this development has sparked calls for protectionism. Of course it would. Why wouldn’t it? look at the idle illiterates occupying Liberal party seats. What stood out in Professor Sinclair Davidson’s IPA article on manufacturing, with ‘co-author” Chris Berg the retarded, developmentally arrested editor of IPA Review, is he positively invited “industry policy”. In case anyone is unsure as to what is wrong with “industry policy”, it was the “economic policy” of the Soviet regime.

What is telling is, entrepreneurs are angry but they have no confidence in anyone fighting good causes. Why should they? It’s telling, because of the sheer damage the Clique and their clunker tanks has wrought that the backbone of Australia are fatalistically accepting the destruction of production. They Clique has reduced entrepreneurs to stoical acceptance of total ruination.This is the sum total of the Clique’s efforts over decades, and having enjoyed eleven years under Peter Costello the Wizard Treasure of the entire universe and Kennett and Stockdale, the Maestro builders of Vic Crime Inc.

They, manufacturers, know what carbon taxes mean, as they told me in no uncertain terms. These gentlemen will be, of course, accused by the hard Left of “profiteering at the expense of workers”. Don’t worry Des Moore and Ray Evans, we’ll give you more “PR” too. Jesus Christ, this pair of clowns busy smearing genuine Liberals and genuine free market economists, deserve, ceaseless media attention. We are happy to oblige them.

The hard Left love them, as numbers have told me, including ACTU heavies and journalists in The Age aka “The Spencer Street Soviet”. And they also adore lesser lights such as Chris Berg and Professor Sinclair Davidson. In fact, a long list of the Clique are the Left’s pin-ups. Never mind, nothing is more important than the Clique and their “hot goss” photo spreads.

Oh, they spit on even Liberal party members, what’s left of them that is. Why, the Kroger-Costello foghorn, Andrew Bolt, himself, stated that the members of the Liberal Party are beneath contempt. Andrew Bolt also told modest Australians that they are ingrates because they do not realise they are as wealthy as he is.

This, from a $5,000 plus a week bludger who waits on the telephone to be told what he will write in his column. Readers, as related some time ago, a source who is a contractor used by the Herald Sun observed and related the inconvenient truths Bolt’s “colleagues” freely unloaded.

By that single statement, bye the bye, Andrew Bolt also discredited the otherwise thoroughly sound and thus highly moral cause of free labour markets, and convinced thousands of Victorians to vote for the likes of hard Left ACTU parasite Sharan Burrow, and Penny Wong. Then there are the likes of Greg Combet and Doug Cameron, hiding in Cowards’ Castle, who don’t have the guts to face modest union members directly out in the open and tell them to their faces that they are going to destroy them with carbon taxes. Of course they don’t and won’t. They know what ordinary members would do to them if they were to do what honesty and, crucially, Ministerial duty requires.

Australians have not seen the bottom of this recession, thanks to the Rudd Cabinet and what sits opposite pretending to be the Liberal Party. Why worry? Carbon taxes will destroy everyone anyway.

Resuming the section on Hamilton’s straw woman, Janet Albrechtsen and her smearing of Viscount Monckton and nasty little misrepresentation of what he puts, she has caused damage again, she does this naturally, with her drivel. Concentrating on this walking disaster, it is easy to identify why Hamilton invokes her as authoritative support for his mendacious, asinine whine.

She finds the statement of totalitarianism offensive. Well, the major thrust of the Copenhagen Treaty was to impose a world government, using the twinned lies as the excuse. It is expressly stated in the clauses of the “Treaty”, to which the Rudd Cabinet was to be a signatory.

Even without the “Treaty”, Rudd’s carbon taxes and related ‘economic’ measures can only be effected with coercion. How does this square with freedom and capitalism? And this is Monckton’s well substantiated point.

However, to single out and isolate the question of totalitarianism is to miss the essential point to Monckton’s attack and defence. He demonstrated dramatically the impact of carbon taxes - it destroys living standards. This, Albrechtsen conveniently passed over, while not saying boo about:

-The IPA has not grappled with it accurately, let alone forthrightly.

- The CIS has lied about it because the CIS is lobbying for carbon taxes.

We shall return to this in the next section. Noting it here, is to mark how bad her “article” is. What a nerve. She attacks Monckton and covers her pals in the IPA and CIS and so forth, who deserve a thorough public thrashing over their antics in wrecking again another cause entailing grave dangers for Australians.

Not only Monckton, but all Australians have every right to be angry and see their anger accurately brought to bear in accurate attack to secure the total defeat of the two lies and the measures that if not thoroughly and soundly defeated means ruination for Australians. But Albrechtsen states Australians should be good sheep and accept whatever abuse and worse is dealt them without so much as a bleat. This callous, fatuous, shallow, conceited ignoramus is regarded as a conservative journalist?!

The hard truth the Clique won’t face, because it is hurtful, is that they have never nailed what the force of carbon taxes is. Noting their cowardice, they do fear the hard left and how. The notion of open fighting is ‘heresy’ to this lot. It is natural that, for instance, Albrechtsen finds a robust, principal driven stand and fight a criminal offence. Combine all their ‘qualities’ and what do you get? An Albrechtsen.

Oh, and a Chis Berg too. Darn! Alright, the whole lot of them. It is telling Clive Hamilton uses her as authoritative support for his diatribe.

Indeed, Albrechtsen is noted for gutlessness too. She, for instance, as the rest of the Clique, did not stand up and eviscerate the Victorian Bracks’ Cabinet over its Blasphemy ‘law’. Not a word from the whole lot. They hid in their Cowards’ castles behind firmly bolted doors.

Indeed, one of them had the nerve to claim on this site how they fought hard. I like a joke too but this guy, one Mr. Steve Edwards, was not joking. He proved it with a banal, soporific ramble no-one had read before until he shoved it under everyone’s noses on this site.

He wrote it and it was published, a he stated, “under the auspices of the Centre of Independent Studies“. Egads! You need “auspices” to even write pulp fiction. There was no fight in it, just a spineless, hand-wringing bit of tripe about free speech is a “good idea”.

A “good idea”? How about this: It’s an inalienable right and it was stolen by politicians, and the Clique’s mates occupying precious Liberal Party seats in Spring Street supported it to the hilt and it was time to stand up in public and go for the jugulars of the bastards.

The Clique went into hiding, but there were those fighting

1) The Two Pastors standing up to the thugs enforcing this anti-freedom decree. Did the Right come out and stand up for them, while the media were also smearing the Two pastors? No, not a peep and nowhere to be seen at all. As for Steve Edwards and the CIS, he was too busy writing his monumental thesis on a “good idea” and Greg Lindsay hard at it setting the keyboard fonts for such superficial action.

2) A few hardy types openly breaking the law to show it is nothing more than a political measure aimed at eradication of free speech and the great beneficiaries of it are, why, those fun guys Muslims. Peter Faris QC, for one. Mr. Jackson of Brookesnews stood out with a stroke of inspired tactical genius.

I was really, really annoyed. I hoped to be hauled up and show what Bracks, Hulls and their Kommissars, Sisely and Szoke, really are and what that tripe called “law” really is. I tried really hard. I broke the “law” in the most determined and horrendous way I could fathom without offending public decency.

It was cheering when it looked like Jackson had damned well succeeded in getting himself hauled off to a star chamber trial. You could see from the documents he was happily manacling his wrists to save the Kommissars time. The Kommissars were handed direct the uncompromising, well documented evidence of his heinous crimes. Correspondence showed Cabinet and their Kommissars had been caught out red-handed. Putting Jackson on trial would have seen them eviscerated and thrown into the gutters where they belong.

So, Sisely and Szoke whined and wheedled on about why they could not possibly enforce the “law” they were charged by Bracks and Hulls with enforcing. How can “Judges” concur in gross, criminal violation of the “law”?  It was interesting reading their attempt to get out of answering explain why the could not possibly proceed with action against Jackson. Are there shops that sell brown dresses for special occasions? ⁽²⁾

Did Albrechtsen come out fighting? No-one could find out where her corner was to see if she had even bothered togging up and wrapping the hands.

Did she back Jackson on this? Of course not. Defending freedom is not what Albrechtsen and the Clique are about. Anything but this. Their great cause is pushing themselves and their own interests. This is their cause.

There’s nothing in it for them defending freedom and the genuine grounds of freedom at all. Besides, it would mean anyone else but them hogging the lime-light and paparazzi photo-shoots. You never get between the likes of Hugh Morgan, Ray Evans, Des Moore and Chris Berg and a camera - if you value your life.

What Janet Albrechtsen’s smears are really about

Viscount Monckton also hurts the Clique that has succeed in cutting off alternative sources of advice to the Liberal Party. Advice the Party is in desperate need of.

The Clique, consequently, destroyed fights for thoroughly sound causes. Neither has it fought politicians, irrespective of which Party, and bureaucrats over rotten ‘economic policies’ from sound principles. Moreover, their in fact anti-free market nostrums spewed out by the Institute for Public Affairs, Centre of Independent Studies, HR Nicholls Society and Quadrant magazine are the pivot of much damage the clique has caused through States Cabinets – definitely under the Kennett-Stockdale Cabinets, and Federal Cabinets. They also find publication of hard truths hurtful, very inconvenient indeed. (Reader’s, mention “STO” in their presence and watch them run screaming for cover.)

A serious political problem for the Liberal Party

They have left the Party stranded and the likes of Tony Abbott and Greg Hunt are the upshot. No principles, no brains, nothing. But here’s the problem:

How does any party expect to succeed once the electorate holds it responsible for slashing real incomes?

In view of the Shadow Cabinet’s position, it won’t simply be the Rudd Cabinet voters will hold responsible for the impact of carbon taxes and related measures, should they be rammed down. Since the Shadow Cabinet’s disagreement is in emphases only and not in substance, voters will be after their necks too. So what does this mean for the Liberal party as such?

It will also be held responsible when in fact, this rotten situation is entirely due to the Clique and in Victoria, Michael Kroger, his mates and their backers.  They are not the Liberal party but they have convinced the public that they are identical with it. We shall return to this.

The voter and also Liberal Party members have every right to be furious with what stands in the name of the Liberal Party, and those who have choked alternative sources to ensure only their rubbish forms the anti-intellectual framework of advice, “debate”, and policy formation. As for debate, that lot reject debate. They debate nothing. Mind, all this requires principles too and they have none; this is tellingly transparent in the States’ and Federal Parliamentary wings of the Liberal Party. It’s a right disaster.

The Great Upset

So, Viscount Monckton had the nerve to come to Australia and upset their stomachs. Really, what on earth was Monckton thinking running around Australia saying things forthrightly and out in the open against real opponents when they, the Clique, had safely killed such nonsense and iced and knifed any genuine Liberal with the guts, brains and ability to do it decades ago. The scorn of a woman is fury incarnate -

Albrechtsen heaved into her type-writer and it really looks like a ghost-writer had to wash it up a tad. A solid blue funk will not be kept down. It’s still a smelly mess.

She’s inane at the best of times. But when she blows steam, it’s the guys who are genuinely defending freedom who have to dive fast into their trenches to avoid the blast and flying shrapnel and then fight the ensuing rear guard actions. Yup, she’s no menace.

Clive Hamilton is welcome to her. A bloody relief really. She’s worked already: Clive Hamilton has blown his head off using her. In the next section, we shall finish exploring how extensive the carnage Hamilton caused himself is, by detonating earthquake Force 10 Albrechtsen. This is bloody hilarious. What many hard Leftists would avoid like the plague, Hamilton ran to.

- What I was told today we discussed and, yes, debated, is the extent of the damage the Clique has caused.

Matters that are grave, and they are very grave, which is why my sources unloaded knowing I betray no confidence and no man, except for treacherous Leftists;  whom, each of my sources would agree, are jolly good things to betray should, perchance, if one of these not Australian liars happen to unload to this sleuth.

The Clique and their clunker tanks, the Institute for Public Affairs, Quadrant magazine, and HR Nicholls Society have caused great damage by:

1) Discrediting the sound, therefore, highly moral case of free markets and so genuine Liberalism

2) Through their actions when in Cabinets, States’ and Federal, and this alone is, bluntly put, shocking. Each of the afore-mentioned think tanks have been central to what has been their systematice corruption of institutions and also the abuse of others vital to Australia as their treatment of The Armed Forces of Australia is a despicable instance.

It is mistaken to assume only the likes of the inmates of the, Institute for Public Affairs and HR Nicholls Society and Quadrant lead by the likes of Ray Evans, Des Moore and David Kemp and the Kemp family’s inbred pet, Chris Berg, seek to put the blame on John Howard for what in fact they did.

Now we have none other than high minded John Stone sticking the knife into Howard,

I realised in posting yesterday,Liberal Party News: Professor Plimer demonstrates scientifically what everyone knows Kevin Rudd and Greg Hunt are the length is rather problematic. As far as I am aware, the evidence has not been unified in systematic treatment, let alone available online. The listed evidence is only a thin slice of the material. ⁽¹⁾

Contrary to the lies spun by the hard left, and charlatans perpetrating fraud in the name of science, and politicians using the lies as an excuse to ruin Australians and Australia, climate shifts are simply natural phenomena. In the ancient world, there were no free markets nor the capital to adjust and adapt to climate shifts. It was no mere disaster that period C13^th BC to 10^thBC. The sheer horror of what unfolded, and of what people did to each other was the consequence.

Since not the “industrial revolution’, but the capital revolution, the only way it can occur, the horror, again is if man deliberately causes. We actually have to look at what the communists regimes did to the Kulaks of Russia and so many millions of Chinese, and the savagery into which they sank, because all that remained was to somehow survive. It is known that inside North Korea, things incomprehensibly horrifying are committed .

The plight of the Kulaks and modest Chinese under Stalin and Mao gives a sense of scale. Yet, it was not a part of it, it was the entire world of the the Ancient Near East sunk in unimaginable horror. If not butchered enmasse by others, villages perished from starvation enmasse and if this didn’t happen, they wiped each other out.

Ladies and gentlemen, destroying capital with carbon means real horror as ‘normal’ daily life is not simply a distinct possibility. It is highly probable that it will be ‘normal’. Certainly, many in the West have no inkling of what is in store, or they wouldn’t be patiently wearing the lies and the rubbish con-men and politicians and bureaucrats  and Greg Lindsay and his CIS are spewing out daily. The only other people who have more than an inkling of what is possible are Jews who survived the horrors they were subjected to.

Distinguished Old Testament Professor Claus Westermann SJ served in WWII as a Wehrmacht Officer. He remarked to this effect:

This has been brewing for some time. Happily, a Leftist site run by, as a matter of fact, patriots whose biggest problems is economics. Anyway, they hate the treacherous Left as much as any genuine Liberal does. Vex News save time, they having summed up some of the essentials.

IN THE WILDERNESS: Taxpayer backed green group milks millions while hiding the darkness within

Yes, precisely what has been laid out here consistently, the cult of environmentalism is merely a cloak which the hard Left is using to push its aims. As pointed repeatedly, those in the “Green” fronts of the treacherous Left are wealthy, middle class cadres. As consistently pointed out, they and their fronts are wealthy and, they collect millions from taxpayers as does Peter “Corrupter of Youth” Garrett’s front, The Australian Conservation Foundation (Tony Abbott, more implications of his “Green Army”).

It should not be forgotten that one of their fronts, the Greens Party, also receives millions of dollars for scoring votes at election time. The whole business of political parties receiving taxpayers money is corrupt and should be ended as it is. It aggravates the wound considerably more when it is considered whom Australians are compelled to fund. (1)

The Right in the Liberal Party are also clinging to the fraud against taxpayers for dear life too. Consider Victoria. Through Michael Kroger, they have eradicated members. Membership fees and donations, including from firms have dried up. What’s propping them up is dear old sodding serf taxpayer.

What has brought things to a head inside the Wilderness Stalinist front is the case of Gunns, which one has still to write up. The “Vexed” report  contains the telling detail:

This is what Australians are hit for. Australians plundered to keep a pack of diseased, corrosive, Stalinist parasites and to fund their acts of treachery against Australians and Australia.

It was the Right who also funded such fifth columnists in the Howard Cabinet through three watermelon red ministers, Ian Campbell, David Kemp, and Malcolm Turnbull. Besides the Right’s lousy, anti-free market ‘economics’, some readers still ask why I am attacking the Right. Well, this is one more bloody good reason why, and it’s in a long list of bloody good reasons to slam into these arrogant, contemptuous (of the little man and his inalienable rights) ignoramuses. While this lot stand, the Hard Left won’t be obliterated and the rotten thing is, they can be obliterated in short time.

It’s a source of hilarity listening to Leftists whine about “big Business” funding free market and anti- carbon tax causes and scientists to fight.

The amount going into these causes is a pin drop pured into the bank vaults of the hard Left here and overseas. Two major backers are those two treacherous anti-American, anti-freedom thugs George Soros and Al Gore. Gore, besides collecting billions more in financial markets, is also making another multi-billion fortune out the frauds of carbon credits, alternative energy, and carbon emissions compliance schemes. These two alone are pouring vast sums into hard, communist fronts.

(1)   The hypocrisy and viciousness of Tony Abbott is shown up in his singular cowardly persecution of Pauline Hanson.

Consider, Hanson did touch a raw nerve, with modest Australians and within the Right. She express anger against the balkanisation of Australia through multi-cultural-ism and unrestricted immigration. She struck another nerve in touching up the rule of law must apply to all. This was a shock to the Right, since Pauline Hanson and One Nation picked up great numbers of voters in its early years.

But, confining the point to free trade to cheap milk, Abbott and the Right couldn’t confront here nostrums in good old open, public debate and shred them. Nor admit the concerns of balkanisation of Australia and inalienable rights are real, and thus also stood up to the hard Left. No, this would take brains, principles, sound economics and genuine respect for the little man, and firms for that matter… and investors.

Harold Clough, who also funds the clowns in the IPA and CIS, decided he’d like to fight One Nation, funded Abbott’s vicious, cowardly plot to have Hanson thrown in prison. After it was all, Hanson a convict, and Clough’s name also dragged through the mud he helped create, was genuinely sorry for what had been done to Hanson. He realised, though too late, what Abbott never has.

Indeed, Abbott’s tactics were “squalid”. The judge who presided also a nasty portent of things to come. Abbott’s ‘case’, enthusiastically supported by Alexander Downer, was legalistic scrupulosity demanded she be convicted. She wasn’t corrupt, ordinarily, and she even paid back the money. This, Abbott, is not the Rule of Common Law, nor a sign of corruption. It is a sign of something else.

Abbott has never learned a thing. Even better, he is for balkanisation of Australia and “with knobs on”, open door immigration. He supports the theft of inalienable rights. He is all for economic thuggery committed by politicians. The upshot is, the hard Left and their aims are not crushed, neither are free markets defended and advanced.

Instead, we see the Right, in the name of the Liberal Party (what little is left of it that is) jumping into bed with the leprosy carriers. What a stunning success. One consequence is, firms, investors, and so many employees and their families are now fighting for dear life. Another is, Abbott and Rudd will wipe all out anyway with carbon taxes.

Let’s just chalk it up to Tony as another entry in his long list of benefactions he has personally bestowed on those stinking oafs called Australians. I, for one, am in no doubt at all that it is. You can tell, the hard Left had a right good time running this disgusting scandal through all the media and didn’t they roast and send up little Tony. What a scream that was.

There is no point in holding back. The only thing the likes of Rudd, Wong, Abbott, Swann, Hunt and Helen Kroger understand is when they are shredded.

Here, we add something which isn’t mentioned in public but also destroys the ‘man causes global warming/climate change’ bunk and points to what carbon taxes can do:

Intense 100 year drought nearly wiped out civilisation entirely, from Greece to the Middle East

During the C12^th B.C. to the C10^th B.C.

The climates of Europe and the Middle East are inter-related. A shift in the former is matched by a shift in the latter, with a time difference of about 100 years. The physics of weather defy attempts to determine weather patterns. It can’t be determined, which in any case is a contradiction of what the laws of the universe are.

(I am not a physicist but I can say this. Best of all, when I have a question in need of expertise I ask as a layman physicists and when in need of advice I seek their advice. I have an economics question, I don’t go to Leftists, nor IPA, HR Nicholls Society, CIS, Quadrant Magazine. I go to Brookesnews and Mr. Jackson and Dr. Frank Shostak. Occasionally, these days unlike some years ago, I write to genuine free market economists overseas for advice on matters to be raised in items.)

The Orthodoxy Problem

During the late 13^th century B.C to the late 11^th century BC, Greek and middle eastern civilisation all but collapsed.

Biblical historians believed the record of destruction confirmed the ‘conquest’ narrated in Joshua. The ruination of cities, however, occurred over far too long a period of time and too widespread throughout the Middle East to even weakly support the notion of Joshua and Israel, quite apart from other historical objections, to be the sacker of cities, as also other suggestions such as marauding tribes did the dirty deed.

Marxist historians asserted the destruction demonstrates class warfare occurred back then and on a scale that, if true, was staggering. This is a pile of dung. The IPA and CIS would impose their own pile of dung in asserting that it is evidence of ‘neo-classical’ economic ‘creative destruction’. They must, to be consistent.

Greek and Middle Eastern scholars, Biblical Scholars and Marxists were studying the same oddities independent of each other with no hypothesis robust enough to explain what had happened.

The Rhys Carpenter Hypothesis (1960’s) is theory

The evidence supports a singular conclusion. It is the true explanation and so can no longer be treated as an hypothesis only. It is theory, is my contention.

In the 1960’s, Rhys Carpenter put the hypothesis a climactic shift had occurred which induced a severe, general drought enduring many years, resulting in catastrophic famine. Such an event would have been sufficient to induce civil mayhem, violence and depopulation matching the archaeological record, accompanied by the destruction of cities.

The obstacle to accepting the explanation was that there was insufficient evidence in the 60’s and, consequently,  it was rejected. By the 1980’s, however, things had changed. Palaeontology and geology had thrown up data which pointed to what Carpenter had postulated. Archaeological evidence threw up telling agreements.

Briefly:

1. European lakes, began to decline c.1400, reaching their lowest levels in the late 11^th century to mid-10^th_.

2. Peat bogs dried out from c.1400 until the 10^th century, becoming bogs again around 900 B.C.

3. Glaciers retreated - Swiss Alps, Himalayas and Mt. Kenya, 1160-mid C8^th B.C.

4. From pollen samples, Kashmir’s annual monsoon rainfall had fallen by 70% from C15^th/14^th to C13^th/12^th B.C. and began recovering thereafter.

5. Monsoon rains feed Lake Victoria, which feeds the Nile River. Lake Victoria’s levels began falling after 1300 B.C., shown by the geological strata.

6 Tigris-Euphrates river flows reduced quickly after 1300, and by very large amounts, not recovering until from the mid 10^th century

7. Of the Nile, the Pleusioi branch of the Nile completely silted up, resulting in the abandonment of the city Per Ramses in 1070, while the lower Nubia of the Nile dried out completely.

8. The C12^th is the end of Hittite and Ugarit records. Claude F.A. Schaeffer uncovered at Ugarit a strata of white powdery soil, evidence of a very long period of intense heat and no rain.

9. Evidence throughout Cisjordan and Transjordan is consistent with the inference, a drought occurred of incomprehensible severity and duration. A century anthropomorphically is a very long age, though not in physics.

10. The soil strata for the period, from Egypt to the Indus Valley, ranges from conditions typifying Saharan soils to thoroughly desiccated. Intense heat of long duration causes this.

11. Inscriptions from the reigns of:

Ramses X, 1126-1108:  ‘we are weak and hungry’

Ramses XI.,1098-70, declares:  “(this year was) the year of hyenas, when men starved”. That’s saying something, viz the death toll from starvation and murderous violence.

12. Enna Epic, Babylon: Enna means ’scorched earth’.

The Enna Epic relates, besides Enna, Ishun (’fiery sun’) and Sibitti demons (’plagues’).

14. In the late 12^th century,  the exchange rate of gold for grain had risen to 24x that prior to the drought, and continued spiralling thereafter - gold could no longer buy a grain of wheat, there was none to buy.

15. Pottery, the make of ewers changes from elegant and decorated to coarse and of great size. Volume, capacity and not aesthetics, is prized.

16. It is the first time water bores, cisterns, are sunk into rock.

17. “Mutiny on the Bounty”. For the first time in history the totally trustworthy, scrupulous river-boat crews steal cargoes of grain.

18. Pyramids and tomb are plundered for gold to buy brain. It had never been done before then.

19. Pyramid and tomb builders were among the highest paid labourers in Egypt. So highly paid that, to relate their pay rates in today’s terms, it is they who would own the homes of Toorak and South Yarra. Des Moore and Hugh Morgan would be slumming it in the outer urbs of Melbourne. They were paid in grain, which they traded.

For the first time immemorial the unheard of happened. They went on strike. The reason is, they had not been paid in months and were never paid again.

A severe, prolonged drought of 100 years duration, marked by intense heat, with the Nile and Tigress-Euphrates reduced to muddy bogs splitting a land completely dry.

Effects:

1. During the 100 years, sporadic depopulation of regions and cities due to:

Death from starvation, whole family clans in villages died; with abandonment of cities and regions.

2. Other times: civil revolts and murderous violence by citizens desperate for food.

3. Invasions by peoples to take lands

4. The above agrees with evidence for Greek and Hellenic cities and villages, which show the same patterns. I suggest it is the motive for the Greek invasion of Troy, observing the Hittites were in no position to aid Troy due to famine.

5. Hattuses, Troy, Miletus, Tarsus, Carchemish, Qodesh, Ugarit, and other Hittite strongholds were all destroyed, completely wiped out.

Poetic account of the disaster

Yam is the god ‘Sea’. Yam is a violent usurper of the Canaanite pantheon. The name, “Red Sea”, picks up a notable feature of the ancient Greeks, their hair.

“Sea People”: first used of a coalition in 1175 defeated by Ramses III:

Comment:

Yammu regards and treats the other gods with contempt. He bows not to them. He asserts his kingship. Enfeebled El is no more the warrior. Yet, even as Yam strides to claim the throne, outraged Baal/Hadad would rise up and in fury smite Yam/Nahar.

The myth of Shachar and Shalim has what might be said a pornographic tinge to it, but that was then and it was a time of riot. Death pursued the living with relentless fury.

Yammu is revered and feared. A destroyer god. Fierce, his sword is bloody with the gore of the slain and it rests not. His earthly host is the Greek based coalitions.

The mythographer depicts the pantheon in crisis and in it Yam threatens to conquer. It is the rise of the Sea People. Their God has come.

Another indication is the God Ba’lu= Haddu = Adad(os) = (Greek) Zeus identification. Zeus was worshipped in Syria until the mid 9^th century as the head of the Pantheon, and also in the early Aramaean pantheon.

In the OT eitiology of Yam, Sea People and Red Sea are completely detached, lost, from the name. The defeat of the Sea is a miracle performed by Yahweh, his act of rescue. Hence, the failure to identify the famous ‘Red Sea Crossing’ from geography, let alone archaeological evidence.

In the crisis, an axis of the Israelites-Judahites, the people of Yahweh, withstood the violence. The legend of Moses has history behind it. What is this history?

The “rescue”, Moses and the Israelites pass through the sea and Pharaoh and his army are slain by the sea, has historical foundations. There was, on very good probabilities rooted in material, a ‘Moses’ who did come down from a very high ‘mountain’. In an age of drought, invasion, death and destruction, the Holy One delivered his people and ‘Moses’ led them through the ‘wilderness’.

Conclusion

What occurred during the 13^th to 10^th centuries was two shifts in climate, the first being that resulting in a century long period of drought, the second ending the drought by a shift back to colder and wet climates. These two shifts alone ocurred over very long periods (hence the long time recovery took) with a century of no mere drought between them.

They cannot be explained by ‘man made global warming’ pseudo-physics. They contradict outright the ‘hockey stick’ and ‘climate model’ . The physics involved is too intricate to admit of an explanation, the subject of Professor Stott’s letters.

All that can be gainsaid is, they are consistent with physics.

‘Natural’, even though the notions ‘nature’ and ‘natural’ are nonsensical. Nothing is “natural”. Nature, and its forms is merely a linguistic convenience, though a regular word.

Civilisation in the balance - What carbon taxes can cause

The consequences for civilisation were near catastrophic on the one hand and, on the other hand, changed history.

Mass starvation and death, large scale migrations as also by attempted military conquests of lands in the quest for water and arable land. Depopulations of regions.

The overthrow of Hittite empire and destruction of its cities. The end of Ugarit. Greek settlements in the coastal plain.

The first water bores dug down through rock. The nearly achieved conquest of Eygypt by the Greeks - a tantalising prospect. Imagine the revolution in history had they succeeded.

It was a topsy turvy time, which has left its echoes in theistic beliefs and literature, traces which endure today, even in the Middle East.

That was then. This is now.

It is pertinent to point out some major differences between then and now.

Due to commerce, science, engineering and technology, we are not reliant on whatever ‘nature’ dishes out. Capitalism is the miracle that brought this about and changed life so immensely for the better. Carbon taxation will drag us back to the days of starvation, death and unceasing violence in which no man is safe.

In Australia, during drought, afflicted land is shut down on a basic maintenance program until recovery. Commercial production is ramped up in other areas. Internationally, free trade entails that no people need be reliant on domestic production. No one need suffer famine during periods of severe drought.

The reasons for mass starvation in some countries today are genuinely man made. The culprits were savage regimes only. The numbers of ruthless thugs have been increased. Western politicians, bureaucrats and conmen running the ethanol scam have destroyed tremendous agricultural production. Spiralling food prices, riots, starvation and death have been visited on the peaceful.

Western politicians, bureaucrats and conmen running the ethanol scam are guilty of these hideous crimes and their excuse? The excuse is the lie of Stalinists, of whom the Greens Party is only one front, the lie that ‘man causes global warming/climate change’.

We Australians are fortunate. We have not, as yet, been subjected to the full impact of this anti-free market policy dictating death and destruction through the deliberate destruction of food production. Bob Katter, National Party, stood up in Parliament today and declared:

“Ethanol should be mandated and be produced (on immense scale).”

This way, Katter continued, sugar cane growers will be made wealthy. Andrew Bolt uses his column to promote this horrendous fraud. That the current scheme is still a capital destroying, impoverishing fraud escapes the likes of Katter and Bolt. I committed a typo yesterday:

I called Andrew Bolt “Mr. Ethanol Man”.

I apologise to Andrew Bolt, because, Andrew Bolt, you are “The  Ethanol Kid”.

Kid: child/juvenile goat. Type of kid, an a-nueronal delinquent.

Ethanol has a time  honoured name, Moonshine

For a swig of moonshine, politicians, conmen and Andrew “The Ethanol Kid” Bolt would destroy food production in Australia. Andrew Bolt is “on the same page” as Greg lindsay and his CIS and the vested interests on whose behalf Lindsay and his cranks filled CIS are lobbying for carbon taxes.

Moreover, on the rule of comparative advantage, there is no necessary reason for reliance on domestic production. In other words, what happened in ancient history cannot occur to day, due to civilised progress, which is capitalism. But this is what the politicians will reverse.

Water everywhere and not a ruddy drop to drink

It’s not only vital for life. Production is impossible without water in tremendous, low cost volumes.

The only reason why states such as Victoria are still ‘drought afflicted’ is because our rotten, corrupt, absolutism bent politicians did not get out of the way and let entrepreneurs in free markets build massive dams in the Otways and on the Mitchell River. Their Green policies means they can murder many Australians. They have already done so using Green policies.

The Victorian Parliament outlawed investment in cheap, efficient coal based energy. This is the smoking gun with which Victorians were murdered last summer. The politicians, Federal and State, murdered more Victorians by turning land into fire-storms. More is awaiting detonation.

As for carbon taxes, they will not simply destroy energy, capital, and immiserate Australians. It also entails the real danger of the brutal savagery that tore apart the civilised world in C12^th BC to C10^th B.C. as men, women and children became desperate.

Anyone who pretends this cannot happen and that Australians are incapable of this is a liar.

Desperation and the desire to survive can render even the kindest the most brutal. Kevin Rudd is a liar, his Cabinet are liars and what sits opposite them are liars.

Liars, and butchers in the making. All the best qualities of totalitarian thugs already present in these vicious, parasitical bastards.

Where were the “Right”, Federal and State?

To repeat for the umpteenth time,  the Right has shown support for theft of inalienable rights, including free speech. They are on the record for their support, and then there are their actions.

In Victoria, with a tiny few exceptions, their Parliamentary wing (it sure is not the Liberal Party) supported the Left’s blasphemy ‘Act’ shoulder to shoulder with Steve Bracks and his Cabinet of dribbling idiots. Now South Australians have been sold out by the Right in their State and by the Federal ‘wing’.

Soon there will not be much left for the Right to betray Liberal party members and modest Australians on. Soon, they will have handed the hard Left complete victory.

The Right invoke Sir Robert Menzies. Understandable, this lot are abusing his name in a facile attempt at conveying the impression they are genuine Liberals. Oh, well, these sort of cowards do need the support of some-one greater than they are, even if the  great are dead.

Yes, it is time for civil war, inside the Liberal Party.

To repeat, the “Greens’ is nothing more than a hard Left front for one aim, the overthrow of the Capitalist West, the eradication of the values worth celebrating this Australia Day. First, having drawn out the energy firm, AusNet, yesterday late afternoon there was a knock at the door. It was two young men from a power firm. They were door-knocking to inform people there will be a price rise, and they were checking for any customers who receive discounts.

It must be a large price for a firm to pay labour to do this. Remember, Victorians, these price rises, to dampen demand at times when you need greater supply of power, are dictated by the Victorian Cabinet. And, it is Cabinet and Parliament who have crippled energy production in Victoria.

Viscount Monckton related a conversation with  Poland, Vaclav Klaus,  cf. below,The Monckton - Vaclav exchange. Monckton asked Klaus why he declined requests that he attend the Stockholm show of totalitarianism. Klaus replied that they cannot be convinced. With all due respect to the great man, free marketeer and freedom fighter for his compatriots, this was a mistake.

The point to open warfare, and stepping into a den of diseased “puddy tats”, is not to convince them. They are true believers in a deadly cult, socialism. The object is to eviscerate them publicly so that everyone else can see them for what they truly are.

It is shameful that it requires the stature of Viscount Monckton and Professor Ian Plimer  for the defence of freedom and the little man to be heard. And, Viscount Monckton’s sympathy and concern for the little man rings as clear and loud as his battle against ‘green policies’, which destroys all that is good. It is shameful, despicable, that the Right have suppressed genuine Liberal talent inside and outside of the Liberal Party. This lot have the nerve to whine about Leftist censorship!

It’s unfair. The hard left use guns. The Right busily shoot guns in the back. It is an irony the Right attacks much that Viscount Monckton stands for, but are trampling all over each other in a mad rush to meet him, for the photo opps of being seen with him. Yes, all modest Australians can tell they are great, clinging to the coat-tails of a great man makes them great.

Thus Professor Plimer, and no disrespect intended at all for the gentleman. However, what about all the scientists who were fighting this deadly fight over decades and writing for Australians. Oddly enough, they are heard only because of the Internet. Read the IPA, the CIS, the HR Nicholls Society and you would never know they existed let alone appreciate they are very effective fighters. Did anyone hear of the event? I didn’t either, not until the event was over. In fact, they brought Monckton to Australia last November. The IPA arranged their standard fighting closed club lunch. Viscount Monckton in his one man typhoon of an assault against thugs is proving effective in Europe, America, Britain, and here. Indeed, that den of treacherous Leftists the National Press Club of Australia has caved in. The expression of odium has forced it to very resentfully accord Viscount Monckton oxygen.

I was one of those who wrote the NPC  in no uncertain terms. Yesterday, I received a hurried invitation to a hastily arranged NPC guest speaker’s lunch, Monckton is now ‘their guest’. Mind, it would be good to attend but it’s in Canberra.

In the midst of a den of diseased “puddy tats” it would be a hoot to cheer and stamp the feet as Monckton delivered each deadly point.(I shall post the invite, along with another invite to another front, so that any interested can get in quick, but if you do: Go prepared - to deliver blows in the form of well prepared “questions”.

Actually, if the Right had any principles, they would fly Jackson to Canberra. During question time, using carefully framed ‘questions’, he can stand up and aid Monckton destroy the Left, Rudd, Hunt and Abbott before the wide television audience of Australians, in delivering the economic devastation of ‘greens policies’ that destroy and kill.

There it is. The telling thing about this tour is it is an opportunity missed. It should be the event that draws all available talent into a formidable fighting front, destroying the demented and their policies each step of the way. It is not Viscount Monckton’s fault that it is not. He is not familiar with the situation in Australia.

Anyway, just an off the cuff item. It is Australia Day. It is also a celebration of all the good values that makes Australia Australia. The fight against ‘greens policies’, the hard Left, and Tony Abbott, is a fight for these values.

A Nasty “protest”

Who are the rampaging ‘protesters’ and ‘peaceful’ demonstrators, the subject of this snippet?

A few weeks ago, at a major conference in New York, I spoke about this tendency towards tyranny with Dr. Vaclav Klaus, the distinguished economist and doughty fighter for freedom and democracy who is President of the Czech Republic.

While we still have one or two statesmen of his caliber, there is hope for Europe and the world. Unfortunately, he refused to come to Copenhagen, telling me that there was no point, now that the lunatics were firmly in control of the asylum.

However, I asked him whether the draft Copenhagen Treaty’s proposal for what amounted to a communistic world government reminded him of the Communism under which he and his country had suffered for so long.

He thought for a moment – as statesmen always do before answering an unusual question – and said, “Maybe it is not brutal. But in all other respects, what it proposes is far too close to Communism for comfort.”

What is telling is, as some of the material relates, besides Monckton is broadcasted on independent TV stations in the US , Monckton is engaged in the very fighting that needs to be executed in Australia, and should have been initiated decades ago.
