Liberal Party: Scoop! Greg Hunt’s Order to Party Members

“There will be no debate!” orders Greg Hunt.

My phone has been running hot with contacts and sources over this and it is worse than a scandal. They include very senior figures, figures not given to using expletives but they are now. I’m given to using some purple words but what they have to say even I wouldn’t print.

Greg Hunt is the member for Flinders, Victoria, and Shadow Minister for Climate Change, Environment and Water. To this, he heads a Party committee overseeing the Coalition’s ‘policy’ on carbon taxation. In these positions, he has issued an edict that states:

No Liberal Party member will debate carbon taxes. Members will not even discuss carbon taxes over the Internet.

Next, Hunt demands all evidence confirming arguments against the claim Co2 causes global warming and against carbon taxes be suppressed. The edict has been committed in writing and issued to members. He is using intimidation in an attempt to enforce this edict

I tell Hunt this: I’m here, I’m on-line, and I’m not intimidated by you, nor Abbott, nor Turnbull. I’m not merely discussing carbon taxes, nor simply debating them, I’m attacking them on-line. And, I’m telling the world about your actions. How does he expect to stop this. Well, the Right did attempt to strong-arm Howard into imposing complete censorship controls over the Internet. Howard belted them down. They still want to impose censorship.

It was further disclosed in communications that the whole objection of the “Opposition” -[which is not the Liberal Party, noting such stalwarts as Mr. Tuckey and Dr. Jensen, but the Right], confirms what I have repeatedly stated for a long time now:

They do not object to Rudd’s carbon tax one jot. Their objection is that it is Rudd and the Left imposing it and not them.

I’ve recently remarked that Turnbull’s objections to Rudd’s carbon tax are a red-herring, differing only in trivia, but not in substance. The substantive objection would be rejecting carbon tax full stop. No objection at all but for one, they want to ram it down.

Heavyweight sources, not given to expletives at all, are swearing worse than ‘an old trooper’,

And @#*&*% Greg Hunt doesn’t  ^&#**# believe Co2 causes *#@^&** global warming and %$#*^* climate change!

Well, all this ties in very nearly with the knifing of Dr. Jensen. Abbott’s betrayal of the Liberal Party by pretending to be ‘an honest broker’, when he is in with Turnbull and Greg Hunt in their rotten little plans to betray Australians and the Liberal Party. We have motive.

A motive that also explains Turnbull’s slimy attack on Wilson Tuckey. And now the attempt to silence other members and intimidation of members into silence. It all fits in. All that has publicly occurred over the last few days was all driven by these treacherous, power hungry, ignorant thugs and their aim to become dictators and to this, ram down a mass capital destroying carbon tax that also requires totalitarian coercion to enforce it.

Hunt’s decree that all evidence confirming what opponents of carbon taxes have been stating, they destroy capital and this means catastrophic ruination for millions of Australians, must be suppressed is itself a very serious offence. Hunt is supposed to be an oath sworn, honour bound MP and yet this scumbag will betray Parliament and Australians in a rotten, little sleezey attempt to make sure nothing that shows what they are aiming for is false and unconsionable ever comes to light.

Reg Hunt orders systematic corruption

What Hunt is engaging in is suppression and intimidation and coercion against all sources - certainly those in the Liberal Party, and all that could be presented to Parliamentary enquiries, and those in government agencies. I hate to think what they are prepared to do to honest, principled men and women - including scientists, should a great error occur, this lot get into office. This lot are reduplicating the old Soviet Politburo. Let’s get this right: this is corruption through and through.

Corruption; using threats and and other intimidatory actions to suppress free speech, and silence oath sworn, duty bound MPs and coerce them into acquiescence and thus attempting to corrupt them and totally pervert due processes.

Disgusting is not the word and Greg Hunt is the chief enforcer of what is violent action. Violence against Liberal Party members and its MPs, so that Hunt and his fellow ‘fifth columnists’ can get their way.

A second secret document

Has been obtained. Sources have informed me it is being being circulated outside of the Parliamentary Party’s offices, in tandem with the Hunt edict. Sources told me that both documents have been sent to Tim Blair, Janet Albrechtsen, Andrew Bolt, etc.

Well, it will be amusing to see what Tim Blair - and the other conservative media heroes - will do with it, because he has never reported on all the other acts of treachery by the Right. He has an incentive, he’s one of them. He also shares some of Greg Hunts inclinations. Tim is all for censorship of all those who don’t obey the Right. He made that very blunt when he called for Jackson to be blacklisted and Brookesnews shut-down.

As for Janet Albrechtsen; what! A starlet of the Right expose the Right? I won’t expand why she wouldn’t here, because I’m serving her up in another item on matters that, amusingly, tie in very neatly with this scoop.

Let’s say this to Tim Blair, this act of savage treachery by your Right-wing pals won’t go unread. Should you not act, let’s remind you, I got in first on Mangled Thoughts. But I will be taking a keen interest in how you proceed.

Believe me Tim, when I read cowardice in your column I’ll skewer you for the gutless little toady you really are. Ditto Andrew “Mr. Ethanol Man” Bolt, who is now using his column to push, surprise surprise, nuclear power, and we know who gets to benefit from this, don’t we Tiny Tim Blair.

Greg Hunt tries to suppress evidence

Here is some of the evidence Hunt would have destroyed. (Nothing like truth, is there Hunt.)

Rudd’s carbon tax is set at 10%. In June we cited evidence of the impact of Spain’s 10% carbon tax in a report by 4 Spanish economists,

Greg Lindsay caught up in “Carbongate”

Jackson, wrote an article applying Austrian economic analysis that explained the economic impact of the tax,

Why Obama’s green energy jobs policy will be an economic nightmare

Having furnished evidence from Britain and U.K., and it continues rolling in bye the bye, the analysis applies no less to the U.K. I only have one quibble with Jackson’s paper.

Though his record of conclusions and predictions is one of unbroken accuracy, on Spain he wasn’t. It pains me to say this but it looks like Jackson understated how rapidly the policy could wipe out capital. It has caused tremendous damage to Spain’s ‘production structure’ in very short time.

I suspected it might be so at the time the report was released. That Jackson might have understated the economic impact in this case underscores the crucial thing, what has happened in Spain has confirmed the Austrian analysis on a tremendously devastating scale. Even if Spain reverses, how great will be the long term damage is something that, bluntly, I cannot contemplate because it is too chilling to take in.

It’s too great, too dreadful to ignore. Rudd’s tax is 10% ! I have been apprehensive for some time now that on the day Rudd’s carbon tax is rammed down, we will be in for a very ugly time.

This is now a pressing and very dangerous consideration but Reg Hunt, also lusting after power for himself, is trying to suppress all debate, all dissent and all evidence. This thug will betray Australians and Australia for what he and his pals lust for. He agrees to destroying capital, immiserating millions of Australians, serving the hard Left through carbon taxes, so that he can look good.

Did you hear that, Chris Berg, editor of the IPA, no debate! But it is worse in the case of the CIS. Greg Lindsay and his CIS has been serving interests in promoting carbon taxes. There are quite a few who could be involved. Do they include, Abbott, Turnbull and Greg Hunt. We know there are links, the Yates brothers – Peony Company and Macquarrie Bank. Ron Walker, Hugh Morgan and des Crespigney – their nuclear power plant. Is that all of them, Greg?

Turnbull, Abbott and Hunt are using the very ‘arguments’ Greg Lindsay set in his carbon tax lobby paper. What makes this even funnier, so is Rudd.

When Jackson delivered his criticism of the lobby paper the CIS’ response was to launch a vicious smear campaign against him. Now we know why. They had to smear and attempt to damage Jackson’s reputation because Lindsay and his chums don’t have a leg to stand on.

A word on Berg and Professor Sinclair Davidson. Besides inviting industry policy in their paper on manufacturing, at the end of it they tacked on a passage conceding Greens’ lie, and conceded carbon taxation and invited the nuclear power option. It’s not only because Jackson demolished the main body of their paper that they engaged in a smear campaign against Jackson. I drew attention to the carbon tax section and delivered comment on it. Jackson also mentioned it. Davidson crawled through internet sites smearing Jackson for this. Now we know why, don’t we Professor Sinclair Davidson, who is also bound up with the CIS.

Now we come to the 3 Amigos

John Stone, Alan Moran, and Des Moore, though they oppose carbon taxes, have been rather silent on the actions of Turnbull, Abbott, Hunt, Greg Lindsay and his CIS. I suppose they are too busy polishing their egos but, surely, they can manage to find a few seconds to push Jackson’s analysis and criticisms of the economic force of carbon taxes. No, not these three. Jackson isn’t one of the ‘Right-wing’ club.

They are the 3 Am-egos.

Reg Hunt and what must be done with him

Reg Hunt is scum. He must now be booted out of Parliament and his actions, as a matter of fact, means it can and must be done. He’s disgraced Parliament. He’s broken his oath sworn duty to Parliament. He’s betrayed the Liberal Party and its members.

He’s lied to the Liberal Party. He is lying to Australians. He’s shown that he is up to his eyeballs in treachery against Australians. He is trying to threaten Liberal Party members. He’s willing to eliminate evidence that stands in his, Turnbull’s and Abbott’s way. He is demanding censorship be rammed down on free men and women.

We only have one outstanding question. Was he, with Abbott and Turnbull, involved in the knifing of Jensen? It looks very much the case that he was deeply involved in that act of treachery too and there is motive:

We only have one question. Was he, with Abbott and Turnbull, involved in the knifing of Jensen? It looks very much the case that he was deeply involved in that act of treachery too and there is motive:

Jensen would not be silenced on science and scientific evidence, and he is a genuine upstanding Liberal and a patriotic Australian, and fought against carbon taxes because of the economic danger that it is. For these crimes, Jensen had to be knifed. Hunt has made all this very clear in his edict.

Readers, this is all for today on Hunt’s savage treachery. We follow it up with more tomorrow.

That’s right, Hunt, more to come, you scum-bag and parasite. Well, you have just been exposed and you are now mincemeat. His head must roll. He can, and must be booted out of Parliament and out of the Liberal Party.

Remember readers, it is as I have stated all along. That lot are not opposed to carbon taxes, nor what Rudd aims to ram down. Their only objection is power, they believe they should be the crew of violent, criminal thugs who ram it down on Australians and not Rudd and his Cabinet.

Liberal Party leaders’ confession: “We failed Australia”

That should be the headline, but they have by their actions admitted failure of devastating force for Australia. Tony Abbott’s betrayal of the Liberal Party and Australians in supporting carbon taxes and the cult of environmentalism is the latest act of treachery and political stupidity.

It cannot be said that the problem was one of “intellectual failure”, because this would assume the Right has been intellectually engaged. Last Friday, I alluded to two other disasters which had been set for posting on Monday. A couple of days in between is a long time when it comes to the Right, and the matter of Szoke had to be dealt with yesterday too. So, in this item the two other disasters.

First, an explanation. The use of “Right” is loose. What has wrecked the Liberal Party and is betraying Australians is not the Right. They are not free market warriors, they have done much to overthrow inalienable property rights, which is the foundation of economic freedom and so the general freedom of individuals. It is difficult to find a word to fix them with, a well deserved name that also adequately states what they are.

The Venal Party, for example, has a ring to it but is still astray. Also, they are not a Party. They are group of political parasites who have seized control of the Liberal Party control in order to serve themselves. Consider another of their fine virtues, pusillanimity - cowardice or the fittingly earthy, gutlessness. Oh, I know, the Pongs. “Pong” combines in its letters: ‘nong’, ocker for a walking, half-witted disaster zone; gnomes, misshapen old men and hags clutching to ‘treasure’ deep within the bowels of the earth - their think tanks, and positions; and sulphuric acid, dense, oily, corrosive liquid.

The Pongs. Their current Federal Parliamentary leaders are Malcolm Turnbull, Tony Abbott, Julie Bishop, Greg Hunt and sundry other forgettables. I do see a problem with the name. Using it in items without attaching the definition could leave new readers in the dark.

Anyway, The two outstanding disasters of last Friday:

1. This has also been noticed by Brookesnews, so I’ll leave the economics in excellent hands -

Witchfinder General Graeme Samuel declares war on warlocks, covens and cartels

Last week I sat horrified as I listened to Graeme Samuel expand on his new powers. “Witchfinder General” is no exaggeration, neither are the punishments to be dealt to ‘witches’ he detects. Jackson has not exaggerated what Samuel said either - “These demons from the capitalist underworld “use mobile phones with pre-paid SIM cards [and] meet in hotels, they meet on park benches.”

Samuel said just that,

They meet in secret, and conspire to cheat consumers of millions of dollars and even hundreds of millions dollars.

Who are these dastardly fellows? Why, entrepreneurs, who unlike Samuel have to actually serve customers if they are to succeed. Undertake genuine service, serve people. Samuel is described as a ‘businessman’. He is what the Pongs call a businessman and this, according to the Pongs, makes him an economist like them. He was an accountant, which in business is administration only. He then had a plumb job as head of the AFL and there’s no need to explain what that bloated lot in the AFL Commission are.

As soon as entrepreneurs are rooted out, Samuel explained, they must be given prison terms, in addition to lesser punishments such as bankrupting them and making it a criminal offence for them to resume in enterprise. Let’s put it this way, politicians, and served ably by their new police state henchmen such as Samuel, have given every incentive for every entrepreneur in Australia in a position to do so to leave, permanently.

I say, and what about himself. He meets in secret with politicians and other bureaucrats in order to decide how to dispose of Australians. Or, Unions. They meet behind closed doors in order to work out how to impose fixed labour prices. Is Samuel about to go for all these, throwing himself in prison too? He should, as a matter of principle - leading by example.

We are referring to the  new ‘anti-cartel’ ‘laws’ that I have warned of as they were raised. They came into force yesterday. “Laws” the Pongs supported.

The likes of Abbott, Turnbull, Bishop, Kroger and on down a long list of them supported a measure that brings Australia also another step closer to totalitarianism. This is on top off breaking up firms and throwing decent men and women into prison for the hideous crime of being an entrepreneur. It can be appreciated why it is a crime to this lot. Entrepreneurs are not what that lot are and never could be - investors don’t entrust stupid clowns with their firms.

Samuel also stated in the course of the interview that he is about to set prices, that is dictate them, for Australia Post’s goods and services. Now in so far as there are might be problems with Australia Post’s services, these then would be due to considerations Samuel cannot fathom in a fit but this all aside from the essential point:

Samuel stated that he can decide and fix prices. Asked how, he replied:

He will examine Telstra’s costs and its revenues to assess what the prices should be.

What are costs? They are the costs of production. How are costs established? By market processes. What are they? They prices of factors. Labour market prices, for instance, is for entrepreneurs a schedule of costs. It is customers that set the values, not firms, with the prices they value goods and services at. The factors of production receive their full marginal value.

They know what their costs are, Samuel doesn’t and cannot discover them because he is not engaged in the markets. What is going on in markets, therefore, to cause price increases that Australia Post is seeking begs questions involving lines of reasoning beyond Samuel’s ability. Neither are the CIS, IPA, and HR Nicholls Society capable of analysing this out. Price increases are automatically suggestive of causes but it would be folly to venture a conclusion without thoroughly examining what is going on.

For instance, the impact of the RBA’s monetary expansion is working out into prices, being absorbed by nominal price rises. They might also be indicating production is being hit by, oh regulatory burdens, cutting supply; something disturbing could be emerging that is beyond Australia Post’s control and is hampering its capacity to work capital efficiently. It could be a combination of both, and this is only in regards to it internally.

Whatever, Samuel’s reasoning is circular. He can decide what prices should be by examining prices (costs) and subtracting them from earnings and this last statement renders Samuel’s notion all the more weirder, because earnings is the sum of prices. He belongs to the school Evans E. Pritchard studied, primitive Azande witch-doctors who poke the entrails of chicken gizzards to discover all sorts of surprises, but souped up with all the witch-hounding talent of the medieval version.

It returns us straight back to the myth of perfect competition on which firm destroying and now entrepreneur destroying ‘anti-cartel laws’ are based. Samuel exercising his police state ‘muscles’ is really proceeding from this assumption in regards to Australia Post’s prices. As Jackson wrote,

Unfortunately for Australia the likes of Fels and Samuel lack Stigler’s capacity for changing his mind once reality refutes theory. The quantitative approach assumes that unless there are a large number of producers in the market there is no true competition. It therefore reasons that a market with few firms will set prices and cause output to diverge from the competitive level. There is absolutely no justification for this belief. What matters is not numbers but contestability.

The catastrophe is due to the Pongs. They were just over a decade in office. One of their chief gurus, Peter Costello, intensified firm destroying ‘laws’. The IPA and the CIS assume the myth of perfect competition is true and thus conceded the entire battlefield to ‘regulators’. The IPA and CIS had the hide to turn to firms and say, ‘We are fighting regulation. There are too many, they need to be rationalised. Now, see we have written articles explaining this. Now, if we can do this, imagine what we can really do if you hand over another $10-/100- thousand’. PR spin doctors are just as effective.

It is not a question of number of regulations; it is why any at all, and the IPA and CIS have conceded entirely the pure fiction of perfect competition. Now what this also involves is, as advisers, and the Pongs made sure the IPA and CIS and HR Nicholls Society were the sole sources of advice to Cabinet, Howard and genuine Liberals did not have the material needed to sort through these very grave matters carefully. The upshot was the likes of Peter Costello smugly prepared the way for what is now a savage and destructive and police state ‘Act of Parliament’.

This is not failure on their part. It is stupidity and stupidity entails disaster if it is the basis of action on grave matters. A shocking disaster and a joy only to the treacherous Left.

 2). Manufacturing

Last week, headlines in newspapers ran, “Unions demand Cabinet do something to shore up manufacturing”. Manufacturing is in deep trouble, so I certainly do not oppose the concern. I oppose what the call amounts to, a call for industry policy and it is music to Kim “Il Carr’s ears. The other headline was, ‘Unions call for protectionism’ to shore up manufacturing. Music to the ears of protectionists.

Early last year, Senator Kim Carr, after receiving another flaccid tongue lashing over what could have been a blistering attack on manufacturing, could rightly reply, “But you had over a decade in office to do something. I’ve been in office only a few months and it is complex to work through and I have still much work ahead.”

This get’s right back to the monetary expansion of central banks. Carr is right, the Pongs had over a decade in office to deal with this but what they had to do is tackle the RBA’s criminal monetary expansion and, at bottom, work on a return to sound money. And yet Carr’s charge is not strictly accurate. The Liberals did do something. They asked the likes of John Stone, Des Moore and Sinclair Davidson for advice. This is what the Pong’s call vigorous application.

Jackson noted that manufacturing presented a problem, and he warned that the Right’s refusal to debate it would result in an industry policy. Guess what, fellas? Jackson was right again and now we are getting an industry policy.

Monetary policy stays tight as economy tanks

Terry MacCrann at least appreciates carbon taxes will smash production in Australia. However, with so many others he holds to the nonsense of ‘the dual economy’, the ‘financial economy’ and the ‘real economy’. Well, the former is, to use that otherwise idiotic term, ‘real’ and it is inseparable from production. For in financial markets capital funds are raised that will be exchanged for capital goods - investments. Needless to say, he refuses to face up to the fact that it was the anti-free market ‘policies’ of central banks that caused the turmoil in financial markets in 2007. He is still at it along with the rest of the media commentariat and the Pongs too, blaming financial markets for the recession, to the joy of hard Leftists such as Quiggin.

Recently, he commenced:

And that’s been great news for us one of three key forces that has made our downturn so mild.

Now it’s been joined by growing optimism in America. At least on “the street” Wall St, where the whole entire mess started.

Crucial times just ahead with the recession

Monetary expansion hits manufacturing first and it is the core of recession as the wiping out of mal-investments. Having remarked on it many times over, it is enough to say, regulation has also been strangling production.

The Pongs, of course, ignored Brookesnews and its warnings on monetary policy and its impact, and its predictions in 2004 and 2005 that recession would be manifested in 2008. So, taken together, the destructive impact of recession and of regulations on top, what we get are many Australians feeling real pain, others very concerned and want it all rectified. But thanks to the Pongs, they are calling for even more damaging ‘policies’ of which one, ‘industry policy’ is another name for Soviet style planning. And it’s not simply, say, Unionists who unaware of this dangerous error. So are Liberals.

Industry policy, tariffs and the value-added fallacy

Jackson related that in May this year Des Moore (HR Nicholls Society & IPA) badly misled members of the Berwick Liberal Party Branch over the contraction in manufacturing. Jackson also related –

In brief, due to the central bank’s inflationary policy a process of deindustrialisation sets in, current account problems emerge, the financial sector undergoes excessive expansion as do services in general while manufacturing as a proportion of GDP contracts. This certainly seems to have been the case in the US, the UK and Australia.

What is maddening is that this process used to be fairly well understood…

The heart of his analysis was the insight that money is not neutral

As the reader can easily see this is a vitally important issue, one that directly affects economic policy and living standards. Unfortunately Australia’s economic commentariat not only refuse to debate it they have gone so far as to even deny its existence. Des Moore, a former deputy head of the Australian Treasury and one of our self-appointed defenders of the free market, dismissed the issue on the asinine grounds that the analysis was not part of “the traditional explanation”. According to the likes of Moore and Sinclair Davidson, another self-appointed defender of the market, the decline in manufacturing as a proportion of GDP is basically an example of the law of comparative advantage at work.

How America and Australia’s central banks badly damaged manufacturing

Not ”traditional”! What this tells us is that Moore is not read in the history of economic thought or even economics. I’ve read enough of his efforts on labour markets to know it and all too painfully. So Moore has even left Liberal Party members ignorant of the economic causes and explanation and the policy actions that might be involved to deal with real pain being inflected.

On comparative advantage, foreign trade is, at bottom, nothing more than exchange between someone in, say, Victoria and another in NSW. Why? It’s cheaper to produce x in Vic and y in NSW. In many goods, foreign trade is spin off from ‘domestic’ production and consumption. Wine production is a case in point and the politicians, both major parties have been hammering domestic markets with regulations and capital eating taxes. Regulation advantages and to point this up further:

Australia has advantages in the production of wine and raw resources, and the politicians have proceeded to wipe this out. In the case of wine, it is why investment is on a trajectory in China, America, South America, Spain and Italy. Australian investors are setting up production in overseas countries. We Australians are made poorer, and cannot enjoy the calibre of wine and in quantity at low prices, thanks to the politicians, that prevailed until the mid 1980’s.  In the 1970’s they smashed a burgeoning 1st rate cognac production with taxes. Humphreys (CIS) and Professor Sinclair Davidson (CIS, IPA, RMIT) ignored the fact that comparative advantage can be wiped out by taxes and that regulation is a tax too. In doing this, as also Moore and Moran, they also betrayed another very serious free market cause to the hard Left.

So, as the Pongs wreck free markets with their anti-free market, misleading notions what is left but exactly many decent Australians knowing they are being hurt hard and want things fixed and so, unarmed as to what it means, call for ‘industry policy’ and protectionism. One upshot is such articles as the following, in which the only good thing that can be said for it is the sentiment is right - protectionism is an economic evil, but the explanation is an evil too,

Ignore them at our peril: dangers lurk in protectionism

It is an evil because it does not nail the falsehoods behind protectionism and set out the sound case. It leaves the field free for protectionists and the general voting public can be left scratching their head musing,

If that is all the case for free trade is, what is so wrong with protectionism? And if it preserves production, then why not?!

To check, it is what happened in reaction to the HR Nicholls Society’s rubbish that they produced as the ‘case for free markets’.

The impact of protectionism is not simple either, as this article steps out:

Protectionism and “free-market absolutism”

Ignore economic laws at your peril. The Pongs didn’t ignore them, they trampled all over them when in Office. They continue trampling all over them and now Australians are in deadly peril in more ways than one, as entrepreneurs will soon find out in a particularly nasty way.

Disasters doesn’t really sum them up, more so when carbon taxes are taken into account

Liberal Party News: Was Tony Abbott involved in knifing of Dr. Jensen

This is the rumour that was already circulating within Liberal Party quarters by mid Friday evening. It’s not Liberal Party circles only that are very disturbed by this act of treachery.

The airwaves were flooded over the weekend with voters foaming at the mouth over Abbott’s treachery. Not all of them are Liberal Party voters either. Those that were are, as the past tense suggests, Liberal voters no longer because of Abbott’s treachery. They declared that they will not, unless there is a genuine Liberal candidate standing for their constituency, be voting for the “Liberal Party” at the next Federal election. Why, only last Friday, one couldn’t but remark in, Liberal Party News: Abbott causes a disaster; Party insiders disgusted,

As soon as I read that bolded opening first thing this morning, I saw a real red hot news flash; that will be thousands of more voters turning against the Liberal Party. I have just finished a ring around of sources and contacts and they each said that they too saw only that one headline - Abott smashes Liberal Party vote. They are all agreed on why, the obvious that Abbott spelled out…

It didn’t take long for that reaction to set in.

Even radio jocks were shouting the same words as callers:

Spineless. Gutless. Unprincipled. Venal. They are only out to serve themselves and clinging to seats. They don’t give a stuff about Australia. They don’t stand for anything.

Voters said, ‘what on earth are we going to vote for to stop Rudd and his carbon tax?!’ Numbers of them and some radio jocks also commented on the “shafting” of Dr. Jensen. One remarked:

They had a principled Liberal who is also a scientist, and they shafted him!

Another not only commented the same but also gasped,

Look at what they replaced him with. An accountant.

When I heard that, I could only mutter, another Kroger type clone. In the last Victorian State election there were so many of these it was like a scene straight out of a movie, ‘The walking dead’. According to the Right, a credential in commerce makes them economists.

Having reflected on Abbott’s idiotic claim that he knew “voters are unlikely to be argued into changing their minds” on an ETS, there all those voters who are rightly terrified of it. Furthermore, irrespective of voters views, he has to stand up on principles and explain and defend them to the public. Not Abbott. His grand election strategy is straight out of Michael Kroger’s big red book,

How to destroy the Liberal Party and feel good, chapter 9 and, 10, 202, through to 30098 (the Right are experts in paraphrasing themselves, expanded with generous citations of their own “seminal” tracts), headed, Grab hold a life-boat, cling to it and sod everything else.

Things warmed up. Not only the radio, but the newspapers had fun. The Australianstuck its boots in, in it’s ‘weekend edition’ with a very interesting back-up item on Malcolm Turnbull’s seat. It looks like it has gone from safe to perilously marginal and, to be blunt, I hope it has. The sooner that that wannabe dictator is booted out of Parliament, taking more than a few of the Right wing parasites with him, the better.

The indicator is what The Australian reported. The ALP has decided it can win the seat Turnbull holds in his terminal illness. The ALP will, apparently, find a ’star’ candidate. Unfortunately for patriots in the ALP and Unions, this is not altogether good news for them, nor all else. It means someone who will be right behind Rudd’s mass capital destroying carbon tax plan - for it won’t be a Martin Ferguson that’s for sure. On Sunday it was related that what has made Turnbull’s seat marginal is that this ignorant, arrogant, Statist buffoon has pandered to Sydney’s version of Toorak Doctors’ wives who are deep watermelon red half-wits. The very types who have played a crucial part in destroying the Victorian Division of the Liberal Party.

So, not a Liberal bone in his body, betraying what remains of the Liberal Party, and Australians with it, Turnbull’s constituency boils down to a hen-house of shallow chooks. He’s turned the seat red, and ALP will seize it. Prime Minister John Howard’s seat was marginal but the ALP respected him as a principled, tough opponent and won it in a hard, close contest (though they used a hard Left half-wit as their candidate).

If the rumour is true, Abbott didn’t need carbon tax as the excuse to help knife Dr. Jensen. Abbott is a mediocrity, who is also responsible for wrecking the fight for free labour markets (more on his part in this affair in a later item). Kroger and his pals, for instance, has made sure no talent could emerge in the Victorian Liberal Party. Stopping talent is routine for the Right.

What! Brains outshine them? No fear. The Right know how to put a stop to that rot. Unfortunately, they’ve rotted the Liberal Party out instead.

Abbott fancies himself a brain, party power broker (on the lines of the ALP no doubt), tactician and economist, and in the light of something else, a jurist of the first silk (as will be examined in a brief para of a separate item). So any genuine talent is a threat to this treacherous, gutless, usurer of the Liberal Party and taxpayers. Yes, even without what is now a desperate fight, carbon taxes, Dr. Jensen had to go.

Who was the villain that let Jensen through, eh? Ah, of course, uppity serfs in the branch presuming to raise a candidate worth backing in the name of the Liberal Party. They’ll get their come-uppance, don’t you worry about that. Kroger will tell ‘em how to do ‘em in right proper. Nothing like coshing oafs in dark alleys; it’s regular sport for this lot.

Some up-standing Liberals should back Jensen to run as an independent and blow the hack they replaced him with out of the water. The same should be done in Queensland to wipe Abbott out. They should go for the trifecta and stand one against Turnbull. And face facts, the Liberal Party exists in name only, so doing this is not about to cause any damage at all to the genuine Liberal Party. Why let ALP win Turnbull’s seat when there’s a chance a genuine Liberal might be able to slay the slob?

A fish rots from the head down and here’s a close-up snap-shot of the process; Michael Kroger’s shabby ambition is destroying the Victorian Liberal Party.

The Right together are responsible for the likes of Turnbull and Abbott. These two are not merely ignoring science (Ignoring Science). But Turnbull, he’s been long keen on making modest Australians destitute and, as we shall see, others of the Right harbour the same impulse (even though numbers of them oppose carbon taxes),

Economics, natural resources and Liberal Party stupidity

Lastly,

I congratulate Mr. Martin Ferguson -

Along with Dr. Jensen and Mr. Wilson Tuckey. Ferguson, though in the Rudd Ministry, is defying ‘deah Maximum Leadah’. Ferguson made it very plain he and colleagues know full what carbon tax means, the obliteration of capital, and this means the obliteration of the little man with it and Ferguson is standing up for him.

There are grave matters over which one opposes Mr. Ferguson but this is not one of them, and he is a patriot. Believe me, readers, I would shake hands with Mr. Ferguson, but I’ll never even sit in the same room with the likes of Turnbull and Abbott and those who made these two ignorant, arrogant stupid destroyers possible, the likes of Michael Kroger and the Right with their clunker tanks the IPA, HR Nicholls Society and CIS that have wrecked the Liberal Party and the causes it should stand up for.

It’s not out of principle the Right opposes such as Mr. Ferguson. Here’s Turnbull on Tuckey:

Mr Turnbull has today responded to criticism of his emissions policy back-flip, particularly from backbencher Wilson Tuckey.

“The shadow cabinet is as arrogant as Wilson Tuckey is humble,” he said.

The article is in grave error on a point in that sentence. It’s no backflip. Turnbull’s opposes Rudd only because he wants to be Maximum Leadah and wipe out Australians with carbon taxes, his position over many years now. As for Turnbulls’ differences over the specifics of carbon taxes, this is quibbling around the edges only. Rudd has Turnbull and the rest of his shabby Cabinet on the end of a string -Rudd accuses Turnbull of ETS ’shopping list’. For whatever details Turnbull has in view, they do not alter the force of carbon taxes. What a joke this pouting, blubbing, whining, venal blowhard is.

Yes, Jensen’s and  Tuckey’s crime is standing up and fighting a grave cause, and fighting for Australians, and not grovelling before the likes of Turnbull and Abbott.

What a catastrophe. I mean the incompetent, stupid Right. What did Liberals and Australians do to deserve this pack of cowardly ‘Party poopers’? Wrong question; it misconceives what this lot are and have done. They are not the Liberal Party. They have destroyed it and we are watching its last pulses while that lot help Rudd in the perpetration of an appalling crime against Australians.

Liberal Party News: Abbott causes a disaster; Party insiders digusted

It’s a day of two disasters. The second catastrophe will be written up Monday. The other was a bomb blast triggered by a singular detonator wired to carbon taxes. Only two members of the Federal Parliament have stood out, Mr. Wilson Tuckey and Dr. Jensen. On the other disaster, all are missing, as they were and still are on a third Vesuvian explosion that buried labour market reform.

The Right’s destruction of the campaign for free markets also continues causing carnage all round. Their ‘campaign’ was a case of biting the wrong dogs, free markets and the Liberal Party. The pits end is that the Right has turned the Party into a whining poodle pup.

The disaster -

Tony Abbott’s Final Betrayal of the Liberal Party.

But first a few words are in order.

There is a vigorous debate now engaged over whether the Liberal Party exists and whether it is time to found a new patriotic Party committed to genuine free market and general classical Liberal principles. It’s a dread word, split and cut and start up anew but, aggrieved Liberal Party members, what remains of them anyway (In Victoria, there are none but for a tiny handful of die-hards), are pondering the question. This is being waged by very irritated Liberals. It has a certain force:

It’s not only that the Right through Kroger have destroyed the Victorian Division and eliminated Liberal members. It’s the fees and donations that have dried up with it. What this means is, there are many frustrated former donors. Whom would they be?  I know, entrepreneurs betrayed by the Right and their fronts - CIS, IPA, HR Nicholls Society, Australian Industry Group, Business Council of Australia. These fronts are stuffed with the “club” and so the notion that they can and would fight for principles on which hang, not to cut too fine a point and all that, the fate of investors, their firms, and employees, is risible.

While there are fewer firms today, it’s still a very large lost support base and election fire power gone. If the carbon tax bill passes Parliament and is enacted (a very important detail this) there will be none at all. This won’t disturb the Right because they’ve never been concerned about them before and they don’t give a fig now. They’ve never earned a cent as entrepreneurs engaged in production. They don’t have a clue about these things. What, lawyers and accountants are entrepreneurs? Don’t make me laugh. A new genuine Liberal Party would carry that support base and this spells the end for the Right and to the good, a positive shift in Australian politics.

I have digressed but only slightly. For unless a civil war is mounted and the Right overrun, the Liberal Party is caput. Today’s scandal is a pretty good indication of, the end is nigh for the Party Federally (it’s already caput in Victoria).

As I say, my sources informed me that irritated figures are now pondering what courses remain open to them. My advice to them is, they have to act swiftly. Of the Parliamentary Party, right now and as odd as it might seem, the only man with the spine and balls and is a Liberal to lead it is Wilson Ironbar Tuckey. Whom else can be called upon?

Well, there is also Dr. Jensen. After these two names, I’m stumped to identify a front-bench core of genuine Liberals. Tuckey has a problem, he has work that must now be done quickly, work even genuine Liberal MPs have not done. A large part of it is a crash course in genuine free market economics at Brookesnews. It is urgent work. (God, the Party is a shambles.)

To fight against carbon taxation in Parliament and before the public, needs intellectual arming. It’s late in the day for this but they have to accept the fact that they need it. I have one suggestion that might help. In Parliamentary speeches, they make their introductory remarks -

‘What Parliament is contemplating is, if enacted, the perpetration of a horrendous crime against Australians. It is not enough to assert this. Let me substantiate it.’

Then what they do is read verbatim into the Hansard the very articles dealing with it from Brookesnews. The second thing they should do is contact Mr. Jackson and ask, very politely to gauge, if he would be so kind as to write them a fighting speech or two. Whether Mr. Jackson now has the time to do this or not one cannot tell, though I suspect that he could bang out a couple of sound and spirited speeches in his sleep.

The second thing they need to do is use Dr. Jensen and other scientists such as Dr. Aaron Oakley. Judging from his blogging record, Oakley might be able to put something together that will serve as speeches to eviscerate the Greens’ lies on which the criminal scheme of carbon taxes hangs. But, at this stage, it is important to secure the economics fight.

There is no time now for arrogance and indulging ostrich syndrome, sticking the head in the sand. It has to be fought accurately, pugnaciously and ferociously inside and outside of the Parliament.

Outside, because voters need to understand what the case is. I know it is a novelty for them, particularly since the Right have held voters in contempt and as infantile serfs who will obey what they tell them. A wonderful attitude it is too, which is why voters told them to jump off a cliff at the 2007 election.

Yes, the Liberals now have to fight on two fronts: Against those coming at them, the Left and their destructive ‘policies’; and against those knifing them from behind their backs - the Right and their destructive ‘policies’. Either all Liberals crush the Right in what is now a civil war - it is intensifying, or the Party will split. The second still means the end of the Right. The internal crisis might not be far off, perhaps 12 months away at the most, and we’ll know either way. (I’m off to my bookie to punt the little all on it and the upshot permutations.)

Tony Abbott, His Final Betrayal of the Liberal Party

Who needs enemies with allies like him, but then he is one of the club that is the Right. Why, he even has classics published on the HR Nicholls site and everything they publish is a classic. One day his ouvre might even be elevated to the highest realms as was Tim Blair’s of the IPA, which dedicated a whole library to Tiny Tim’s classics (I can’t wait for the annotated anthologies).

The Australian depicts a civil war as if it were the mere musings of an afternoon tea and chat club, Senior Liberals at odds on climate change strategy. It must be, for the headline is contained in some warm and fluffy notion of Abbots’ that all should kiss and make up, support Malcolm Turnbull, and Rudd’s carbon tax. Here’s his reason:

TONY Abbott has urged Liberal MPs to back the embattled leadership of Malcolm Turnbull and asked them to pass Kevin Rudd’s flawed emissions trading scheme in the Senate to avoid a double-dissolution election that they cannot win.

As soon as I read that bolded opening first thing this morning, I saw a real red hot news flash; that will be thousands of more voters turning against the Liberal Party. I have just finished a ring around of sources and contacts and they each said that they too saw only that one headline - Abott smashes Liberal Party vote. They are all agreed on why, the obvious that Abbott spelled out:

The Right are cowards clinging to life rafts called seats in Parliament. And what makes his grasping gutlessness all the more noticeable, Australians go to the polls next year anyway. So, if the Liberal Party cannot win in an early election triggered by a double dissolution, what on earth are they presuming? Perhaps they spotted a silver lining. Instead of losing 20 seats now, they’ll lose 18 later.

Craven cowards have no principles to betray. The example of former Senator and Minister Robert Hill crawling to engorge himself at taxpayers expense - now he’s a “Professor” and now he is Rudd’s head of Rudd’s extortion and fraud racket against Australians, the Australian Carbon Trust “to allow individuals to invest directly in reducing Australia’s emissions”, points things up nicely, as did Costello -

‘I have decided to retire from Parliament because now it is time for me to make some money’.

Or, Downer, who also spat the dummy after the 2007 election and left in a huff. Now he soaks taxpayers again for another fortune as he bludges in a comfy office in that den of thugs called the U.N.

Or, Malcolm Turnbull, a mere ‘lawyer’ who got lucky and was handed a fortune, who declared when he was Minister for the fanatical Green’s temple the “Department of the Environment” that he will force prices up for water, electricity, petrol and all sorts of commodities because, he explained:

“As everyone knows, high prices makes everyone use resources efficiently.”

This economic ignoramus doesn’t know escalating prices signals inefficiency and cutting of supply, depriving firms and consumers of what they demand. But this arrogant Right-wing brat is so wealthy he, like the Rudds, won’t suffer unlike millions of modest Australians. This does sum up Turnbull.

He is an arrogant thug, who holds all but his Right-wing pals and his Leftist mates in contempt. He, as the rest of the Right is, is concerned with three things only, himself and power and ‘influence’ for himself.

In character, Turnbull runs close to that other bit of nasty work, Michael Kroger, a man so hated by Liberals that if he turns up to anything where Liberals are they lock the doors. He sits at a table, the others move to another. They hold a conversation, he converses with himself. Kroger takes pride in being hated but he can’t figure out why he is hated.

That is what Abbott is supporting and betraying Australians for over carbon taxes. This is not all the damage that Abbott has caused, as we shall remark in an item turning on the still stinging labour market catastrophe.

Abbott has the hide to assert:

But Mr Abbott said Mr Turnbull was being “far from arrogant” and knew “voters are unlikely to be argued into changing their minds” on an ETS.

1. The Right try to pretend that they are not arrogant, and are very considerate of modest voters. Smiling down at serfs is, as Hugh Morgan has perfected, their notion of consideration, respect, empathy and service.

2. How did you find that out Abbott. Oh, as the rest of the Right, they just know. (Readers, it’s not a joke and no secret that when modest types merely approach any of the Right with serious questions they are ignored.)

3. Abbott and the rest of the Right have never not merely not bothered trying to convince the voters by giving them sound reasons to support or not support measures. They have not engaged in public debate to do this work. They believe they don’t have to give good reasons and debate and defend. It comes as a real shock to them when confronted by anyone who challenges them. Readers who have followed items on their think tanks and exchanges with some of them from the CIS and IPA will have noticed this rather damning fact.

Not lifted a finger; too bloody lazy to do any work to arm himself. Being insular, Abbott goes to his club, the HR Nicholls Society, where they engage in mutual ego polishing and that is the sum of Abbott’s intellectual and public polemics endeavours. The Australian included a photograph of Abbott surf-boarding. For once the rag managed accurate reporting. Abbott and the Right surf-board on the backs of the Liberal Party and Australians.

He’s a buffoon, as the Right is. By Christ, what an expensive troupe of clowns to Australians and the Liberal Party they are and they are not even funny. Taxpayers should demand all their money back from that lot.

Good one, Abbott. Another fine achievement in betraying and wrecking the Liberal Party, and aiding the hard and diseased Left to new merit-less victories. Tony “Capitulator the Great” Abbott. Not a few Roman Emperors would have wished for barbarian enemies of the mettle of Abbott and the rest of the Right. They hated having the odd legion wiped out by barbarians.

Tuckey can now level this against Abbott,

Liberal backbencher Wilson Tuckey accused his leader of arrogance and inexperience in contradicting the Coalition position, sparking an internal party battle. Mr Tuckey also suggested Mr Turnbull was scared of facing a double-dissolution election over the issue.

Now, there’s a fighting Liberal. Tuckey would rather go down fighting than surrender principles. As Ironbar no doubt knows, lose a battle but the voters are left in no doubt, guys like him put principle and Australians first. Best of all, the principled show out right in opposing such destructive measures and so voters will support them in the voting booth and vent fury against the Left and the Right. Un-surrendered principles means long run integrity in all grave matters. Tuckey needs only one thing, solid, sound advice.

In contrast to Capitulator the Great, I wish this guy were a Liberal, Martin Ferguson, because at least he has guts and as on this matter willing to use them at the right time. Here’s why:

In an article for today’s edition of The Australian, Ferguson wrote an article savaging the fanatical Greens’, their vile beliefs and worse demands and carbon taxation too:

ENVIRONMENTALISTS who oppose everything except renewable energy are condemning billions to poverty.

In reply Bob Brown called him “a lackey of the coal industry”.

You know when elements are not hurting Brown or, worse, are nice to him and the Greens and even serve them. Brown and his rabid totalitarian environmental cultists are nice and civil to them too. That’s why the Green’s don’t attack the Right; they’ve received splendid service and courtesies from the Right. In an article, we will return to a subject not completed, Bob Brown and the Greens, “lackeys” to that Stalinist thug, Hugo Chavez. (These deranged savages should not be in Parliament but the Right cleared the way for them and even handed them seats and came to nice little agreements with these diseased cultists.)

Ferguson is coming from the old ACTU - ‘worker’ position. Though, to be sure, he has problem here. As an ACTU heavy, how is he to face the members when he is part of a Ministry that will wipe them out because firms have been destroyed with carbon taxation.

It must be noted, there is a new breed of ACTU heads who are full of what Ferguson is attacking. I’d say, the old hands know they have a huge liability in the likes of Shane Burrows who is the Left’s version of, say, a Helen Kroger, a freezing cold half-wit.

Besides, throwing employees into destitution and destroying firms is the old hands’ privilege. They call it effective minimum pay security. The cynical would call it labour supply monopoly and racketeering. It’s the only thing Rudd has handed back to them, thanks to the Right.

Mr. Ferguson, the deep trouble your alliance is in is due to the anti genuine free market position you are dedicated to. It can only end in disaster and now it is here, reinforced by descending totalitarianism. How do you explain this to not merely unionists but modest Australians whom you and your fellow Unions’ bosses worked hard at convincing you are with them and understand them in terms of what counts?

Now of course, if genuine Liberals dominated the Liberal Party, and were using genuine free market economists, they would have pulverised your position and therefore you would not be sitting on the Ministry’s benches. Yet, this would have been a merciful release for you and your friends. You would have been saved what is a tremendous embarrassment and with the added bonus of being able to honourably and honestly say to your fellow committed unionists:

‘We fought hard, we gave it our all. We were outgunned. Our position is lost. It was a war of ideas, the truth won the day.’

And there’d be an end to it but, unfortunately, this settlement has been delayed and to foreshadow what is to come, I’ll say the boo word - Jackson. Let’s just say, to use a cricketing metaphor, the day was rained on by the ‘pissing with the wind’ Right.

Liberal Party News: Mr Tuckey intensifies attacks on Malcolm Turnbull over carbon taxes

“Ironbar” Tuckey hits puppy.

Beyond question, Tuckey’s blood is up as it should be. With Rudd’s carbon tax bill to be raised before the Lower House next week, Tuckey knows Australians are in great peril. He knows there are those in the Right also directly culpable for what, if passed, will be a horrific crime perpetrated against all Australians. Tuckey also knows that those in the Right who have claimed to be fighting carbon taxes have failed, hence this last, desperate effort to kill carbon taxes. An effort that means internal Liberal Party civil war and it has broken out. Tuckey is a patriot.

Good on the patriotic Liberals. Go in hard and iron-bar the great big, cowardly puppies and sod the RSPCA!

And Right-wing MPs supporting carbon taxes are puppies or, as put yesterday, “big manly pansies”. One of them came out snivelling, ‘Tuckey hurt us, and we should all be trying to negotiate with the Government’. This was Scott Morrison. The likes of the walking freezer, Helen Kroger, mutters much the same thing but objecting it should be them and not the Left imposing carbon taxes (it’s a Janet Albrechtsen type ‘argument’).

There is nothing to negotiate. Carbon taxes destroys capital. This means immiseration of millions of Australians. This, chilling enough, is only the beginning of the long list of dangers carbon taxation will generate. All for a pack of lies that is also an attack on science, Co2 emissions causes global warming. To know anything more, they need experts in science and economics to arm them and they are not in the CIS, nor the IPA, and not the HR Nicholls Society. Oh, apologies, they do have a talent in their ranks, until the next election, Dr. Jensen and look at what the Right did to him.

Isn’t it funny that, though it is nothing more than ugly belief in magic with a nasty edge, it applies only to emissions generated by capitalist man. Plants at night, for example, emit more than man does by a tremendous factor. Why don’t Rudd, Wong, Turnbull, David Kemp, Greg Hunt, Bob Brown, Peter Garrett, Morrison and Helen Kroger exterminate plants all around the globe? Seems just as ‘reasonable’. They won’t have to start on insects, birds, and animals, because they will starve to death. Then we will die. No more C02.

Co2 is a nutrient, without it, neither plant, nor beast nor man can exist. It builds all tissue, and does other work – dolomites for instance. Infinite, magnificent works are all due to the reticulation of Co2. Molecules never remain in the atmosphere to build up into a ‘blanket’. All that amazing work done by a percentage of C02 gas present in the atmosphere so small that it is convenient to speak of it as if there was zero carbon in the gas phase.

As a lad I assumed that there were no crazier schemes dreamt up than those by communist regimes and the National Socialist regime of Germany. I ate my hat, because sitting in Canberra is a pack of demented crazies. Numbers of them have held Liberal Party seats and others are still occupying them. David Kemp was a great Ministerial zealot of the fanatical Greens’ cult and one of their chief Ministerial weapons with which to ruin Australians. The likes of Turnbull, Greg Hunt, Scott Morrison, Kroger are fine successors. There must be a prize in the crazies stakes, they are all trying so ‘darned’ hard to get in first.

The carbon tax boosters in the Right are not motivated by the same reasons. There are, as it were slight factional disagreements. It is conceivable that there are those who regard the Greens’ claim as the lie it is but like what carbon taxes can deliver them, power over Australians. Lust for power and ‘influence’, stamps the Right. There might be three factions.

Opposition spokesman on energy and resources, Ian MacFarlane, said:

It (nuclear power) is the only zero-emission, base-load electricity that Australia can install in the next 30 years.

We are saying it’s alright for our mates to use our uranium in their nuclear power stations yet we can’t have a sensible science-based debate about nuclear energy in Australia.

Firstly, I don’t oppose nuclear power as such but in Australia it is not economic. It would require subsidisation and that means a burden on other firms and wage earners. It’s worse than this. It would also come at the destruction of the capital of the coal based firms. The ramifications of this are greater yet.

Secondly, it is interesting that MacFarlane invokes science to advocate nuclear power but is happy to remain silent on the overthrow of science used as an excuse to impose carbon tax, which would be the trigger for nuclear power.

I have a question for Mr. Ian MacFarlane: You wouldn’t happen to know Mr. Hugh Morgan and Mr. Ronnie Walker?

These two wreckers and wealthy parasites wish to enrich themselves many times over again through the destruction of efficient coal based firms so that politicians will lob billions of dollars taken from millions of other Australians – firms and their employees, to fund their bank vaults nuclear power plant.

Hugh Morgan and Ronnie Walker are pals of Mr. Greg Lindsay, who, oddly enough, is campaigning for carbon taxation. He asserts the tax will make ‘alternative energy economic’ (Jackson eviscerated this rubbish with a swift paragraph). It occurred to me early last that there might be a link with Morgan and Walker and found it. In his lobby paper Lindsay left unsaid, nuclear energy.

The dis-economies of Wind, solar, and wave (Hunt’s favourite) are tremendous. It is horrifying merely contemplating what this means, the destruction of coal for these scams. Ah, Nuclear power to the rescue! Except, it is not economic – why else destroy coal and subsidise nuclear to the hilt!

It is transparent that the very same criminal suggestion was put by Berg and Davidson in their joint IPA position paper on manufacturing.

Mr. Ian MacFarlane owes Liberal Party and Australians a true explanation. Silence is read as, they are not co-incidences at all and then I would have to go after Mr. MacFarlane with my PC version of an Ironbar. But, hey, this is why I love the Right; they drink poison by the buckets and I get to describe the effects (sadly, they expect everyone else to drink it, with them forcing it down throats). I’m a surgeon and a good surgeon needs to practice on dead bodies.

Next, since March 2008, tidal waves of evidence demonstrating the impact of carbon taxes has crashed over the heads of Europeans, British, Asians and Americans. Investment in energy firms stopped, firms collapsed. Tens of thousands in a matter of week over several weeks early 2008 and in Britain alone were thrown out onto a growing heap of those made destitute by ‘government’ coercion, Co2 taxes. In the wake of the Obama carbon tax bill, companies are planning to quit the US, should it pass the Senate, because the investments will be wiped out. Energy firms are at the advanced planning stage of, “Flee for your lives!”

In March last year, share markets wrote down the value of Australian coal based companies in reaction to the proposal of carbon taxes. Well, readers, does it really take a genius to guess what will happen if the carbon tax bill is passed? If there are those who still cannot grasp it, the Australian this morning spelled it out.

Big electricity generators plead for $20bn ETS aid

Next to the punishment a $20b aid transfer would mean for many firms and their employees and investors, it won’t stop what the coal firms correctly state, carbon taxes will wipe them out. The end of them, the end of energy production.

There is a problem with the article. A mistake also made by numbers of ‘economists’ of the Right is stating the danger the tax poses to firms is one of capitalisation, the market value of the firms. These values are estimates of the future earnings of firms. If the former falls, capitalisation values will fall accordingly. Firms’ earnings are what is generated by their assets - output produced by working the physical means of production and they are capital.

The net worth of a firm is its total assets minus its liabilities. Taxes are liabilities. So, the problem faced by the coal companies is, the taxes will be capitalised. The liabilities will now exceed losses, meaning net worth becomes negative. The nature of the tax destroys this particular investment. The generators would be scrapped.

The coal based energy firms would be wiped out. This is what is crucial about what the above article relates. It is what Jackson nailed from within Austrian capital theory, when he criticised Greg Lindsay’s carbon tax paper. Greg Lindsay has refused to respond. He has tried to ignore the case set out by Jackson. Capital, the physical means of production, has value so it can be capitalised and new capital funds raised for sinking into more capital. If it were not so, there would be no capital and we would be stuck in primitive misery.

The above summary of the tidal wave of evidence of capital wipe-out confirms theory that Jacksons laid out. Amazingly, as I set a mountain of that evidence, and it still was only a small fraction of it, Lindsay like the Black Knight in Monty Python’s Holy Grail was defiant, ‘They aren’t hurt. I’m not hurt. Come back and fight you cowards’. It would be nice to do as the two crusaders did, walk away ignoring him and enjoying a good chat but it can’t be done.

The carbon tax bill is aimed at first destroying the capital in efficient coal energy firms.  Destroy that supply, and other firms must fold. We are talking about destruction of production. This means investors, and this means all modest super policy owners too, will have their savings wiped out because the firms in which they are invested are wiped out. Employees can no longer earn because there is no capital to work. They are made 100% destitute. Their families starve with them. This began to occur by March 2008 in the UK under the Tony Blair-Gordon Brown carbon taxes, taking out large firms and tens thousands of employees and it hasn’t stopped.

Go through how extensive the damage can be -hospitals, homes, entertainment, books, clothing, shoes, food, lighting, the list is endless. They don’t occur ex nihilo, nor maintained and run by magic. Neither are, firms producing capital goods that are used to produce more capital goods that finally are used to produce ccgs. that are used to produce consumer goods. To use the Austrian school term, the ‘country’s production structure’ is at stake and this means the very lives of Australians are at stake.

Enter the pro-Nuclear power brigade. Look! They say, we have the answer.

No they don’t.

1. They are conceding the Greens lie, even though they might not believe it, in order to enrich themselves at the cost of inflicting tremendous destruction on many others, for:

2. The destruction of the coal plants and all that supports them , inclusive through to distribution of their output. Destruction of capital.

3. Seizing capital needed elsewhere, destroying other investments. This type of capital destruction already stamps the impact of the ethanol fraud on food production, with major food shortages matched by spiralling food prices in other countries, and the only reason why we have not felt the full impact of it here is that to date the Right and the Left have not as yet perpetrated it on the same scale.

4. Because nuclear power is not economic (not yet anyway, or else free market firms would be investing in them) it means production and so supply is cut. Rising costs reflect economic inefficiency. This hits all other firms that do require efficient supply. As it is, for instance, regulation has meant many have re-directed investment to overseas rather than in Australia. So what firms can withstand this cost shock I don’t know but it does spell the end of numbers of firms full-stop.

Taking points 2 to 4 together, the ‘carbon tax ‘em then nuke ‘em brigade’ are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of Australians. It still means immiseration for millions of Australians. It is a real opener to realise how many in Australia can push to perpetrate all this against Australians and with the added consideration:

Carbon taxation is a totalitarian measure, for it requires totalitarian coercion to make what should be free men and women obey it. This from those in the Right, in the Liberal Party and not just the hard Left and the fanatical Greens!

But wait! There is more good news! Live-stock is to be hit with carbon taxes, not immediately but the aim is to directly apply them to live-stock. Yet, even without this, agriculture is hit hard because it requires efficient energy. And there is machinery, and a range of materials required. Meat and wool production and crop production is sliced apart. An instance of the impact of a carbon tax on food production has been given above, the ethanol fraud. It is a carbon tax, a tax Andrew Bolt supports, and he is now flying cover for the nuclear scam in the Herald Sun, and here’s an instance:

Change your tune, Peter

The Austrian analysis of capital and production structure is not ordinary. There is much involved and I wouldn’t venture it because it involves theoretical reasoning to intricate depth not open to a layman. But the above surely indicates something of what is meant. It is not self-maintaining and it can be destroyed because of lousy and worse policies. This means misery for millions. This is what carbon tax is, a destroyer of capital, and an instrument with which politicians in the Left and the Right, charlatans pretending to be scientists, and bureaucrats will wreak something incomprehensible for many Australians, but not for those who have escaped certain regimes, their ruination.

The tax will be put before the Lower House next week. It is a truly horrifying prospect. Tuckey, cut their heads off with that iron bar. There is no time to lose.

Rudd, Wong, Turnbull, et al , Left and Right who are behind it, must be totally eviscerated. It and they must not be simply stopped. They have to be publicly destroyed so that it and any other rotten, destructive policy will never be raised again and this is very important because it is what its supporters in the Right would do should it be defeated this time round, impose carbon taxes. These Liberal Party wrecking, Australians betraying parasites are no better in some ugly respects than the treacherous Left.

As for the anti-science lies used to perpetrate it, they must be totally smashed up and the Green’s fanatics with it, both on science and on economics. This the Right, all of them, have never done because they haven’t got a foggy as to what is required to blow these diseased, treacherous Leftists apart for the totalitarian bent fanatics they truly are. And, Garrett is still one of them, make no mistake about that.

Oh, darn, here’s another of the Right cleaning up from the carbon tax plunder and destroy scheme. It’s former Senator Robert Hill who has by some stupid mistake been made a professor ,

… following the acceptance of a Government job by another Liberal, former environment minister and South Australian senator Robert Hill.

Professor Hill will chair the Australian Carbon Trust – a new fund to allow individuals to invest directly in reducing Australia’s emissions.

His acceptance of a job based on the establishment of an emissions trading scheme is a clear sign Professor Hill supports the Government’s approach rather than the Opposition’s – which is to oppose the scheme.

How many genuine Liberals have managed to sneak past the Right into Parliament, thereby cheating Liberal Party wrecking parasites of their feudal rights? Oh, and Hill, what’s the quibble? Oh, I see, Turnbull would delay destroying Australians by a couple of years and that’’s silly. Why wait, hey, when Australians can be defrauded and companies shut down now.

Is their a Hill - Greg Lindsay link too?! If there is, by Jove, I’ll be having more fun with the flame-thrower.

Liberal Party News. A clarification

It has been brought to my attention that in the items covering Wilson Tuckey’s press statement and the knifing of Dr. Jensen by the Right, the impression conveyed by certain generalised statements is that all in the “Right” support if not Greens’ lies purveyed a science, the certainly carbon taxes. That was certainly not my intention. There are those in the Right who do object to both. The point that was made is that the Right have reduced the Liberal Party and in reducing it, have made it near impossible for genuine talent to rise in the Liberal Party.

Dr. Jensen is genuine Liberal talent, and not simply because he has a doctorate in physics, though this gives him a considerable advantage in what the Liberal Party should be doing, fighting the Green’s charlatanism and carbon taxes. If this was not a perilous matter, noting the bill for carbon taxes is to brought before the Lower House next week, and therefore he did not have Greens zealots such as Malcolm Turnbull and Reg Hunt, and supported by Kroger clones such as Helen Kroger, the Right would have still done him in.

Talent is a threat to the Right, they know that should talent rise they will be eclipsed. It is why the Right in Victoria wrested control of the Victoria Division and, having joined with their interstate ‘cousins’ are doing the same to the Federal Liberal Party. I warned of this when Kroger was imposed on a branch as their Senate candidate, fast following the thuggery of the “Kroger Kronies & Resurrectionists” against Richmond Branch and Prodos, and this is only a tip of the ice-berg of what the Right has done to the Victorian Division, as ’strategically’ concocted by Kroger and his mate Peter Costello.

The warning was given in an article of the 21st of June 2006 ( reprinted in continued below). Helen Kroger was the final act that put what the Victorian Right is about beyond dispute. It wasn’t simply the imposition of Helen Kroger on a safe seat; it was what it was also bound up with it that made things unambiguous. What was related in the item was fully confirmed by subsequent events and now the warning is too -

The Victorian Party simply won’t exist and, the Federal Wing of the Party will be wiped out with it.

Federal Liberal members, if the article of yesterday did not quite stir you into action, this one should. They really don’t have much time to lose. The Kroger Party has a head start.

On the 4th of October, 2006, this warning was delivered:

What Kroger has now set himself to do is more than accelerating what is of deep concern to the Federal Party, the decline in members. He has effectively set himself to finish them off altogether.

The Federal Party is facing the reality; the Victorian wing will be completely smashed, unless the Federal Party intervenes now. The Federal Party, therefore, also faces being wiped out in Victoria.

The item of the 4th is also in “continued”. Another statement in the same article is now in force Federally, as the knifing of Dr. Jensen makes crystal clear:

Michael Kroger is eliminating Liberals, and Liberal Branches. Talent is stopped – the escalator has been switched off. In Prodos’ case, he got further than many other Liberals did, so Kroger had to knife him in public. There are blacklists of Liberals, identified as either opposed to/ as trouble for/as potential trouble/as merely being brighter, – to Kroger, his stick puppets and that lot of MPs in Spring St. Kroger is stopping formation of new Branches.

Only one qualification need be made. It is not the KKR alone wrecking the Federal Party. As for carbon taxes, while not all in the Right support them, their arrogance and antics has brought things to the brink and it is not only carbon taxation they have ‘played games with’ to the burden of the Liberal Party and Australians.

Yes, the Right’s knifing of Dr. Jensen is a telling and shocking and disgusting act on their part. It only remains to see what genuine Liberals can manage to rectify a disastrous position. Unfortunately, the Victorian Division is gutted of genuine Liberals and, in particular the talent needed to fight, so no help is forthcoming from the Victorian Division in what now must be engaged for the sake of the Liberal Party, Liberal Principles, and Australians, internal war against the Right. Nothing less will do.

Liberal Party News. Scoop: Liberal MP knifed

This is a nice follow up to the first item for today (more to come today), Liberal Party News: Malcolm Turnbull put on notice; internal Party war declared. In that item I drew attention to a colourful statement by Federal Liberal Party MP Mr. Wilson Tuckey on Mr. Turnbull over carbon taxes, and drew out some pertinent observations including what those who are Liberal MPs had to do.

While Tuckey went public against Turnbull this morning, he is silent on what is a shocking scandal.

A Federal Liberal MP, Western Australia, who is a genuine Liberal, is a scientist and is therefore equipped to fight against the Greens’ lie of human Co2 causes ‘climate change and carbon taxes. Best of all, this is what the gentlemen has been doing inside Parliament and has had to bear some nasty reflections against him from all those supporting carbon taxes. Not all those attacking him are ALP Cabinet ministers and a motley collection of backbenchers.

No, Sir. It is transparent the Right inside the Liberal Party has been trying to suppress the offending gentleman. They have made sure the gentleman’s time to fight in Parliament is scattered and very brief. This is a gentleman who warrants a senior Shadow Cabinet position because he is talented, he can do the job that needs to be done. The gentleman has been knifed by those wrecking the Liberal Party, the Right.

The gentleman is Dr. Jensen, member for the seat of Tagney. At the end of the current Parliament he will, until re-elected in 2010, not be the member. However, Dr. Jensen will not have the opportunity to contest Tagney a second time because the Right has succeeded in having his re-selection thrown out, have acted to make sure it is refused.

Notice, this reeks of what the Right do with seats in Victoria. Strong arm branches and pre-selection challengers into submission and stuff them with their trustees.

This begs the question of where were the likes of Wilson Tuckey in all this? He has not said a word to defend Dr. Jensen in public, even though he made the very agreeable effort to publicly attack Turnbull before a very receptive Canberra press gallery. Or, perhaps this is what drove him to go public. I will accept that the knifing of Jensen was Tuckey’s motivation, the straw that broke his back, for the pungency of the statement ties in neatly with disgust at the treatment of Jensen. I believe it, but if I am informed to the contrary, there won’t be a hole deep enough for Tuckey to hide in either (anyone who knows Tuckey might put one at total ease on this).

Remarks made in the article below about Liberals in the Parliamentary Party and what they have to do are timely, because I came across the dirty, badly kept (- fortunately) secret of  “Liberals” knifing Jensen only after I had posted it. If I had had this information before I posted the first item I would have added a few other telling observations.

What a disgrace. A ‘Party’ of non-Liberal jobbers who can’t stand up for principles and can’t do the work needed to advance them, but they are good at betraying the Liberal Party and honest Liberal members and thoroughly discrediting its causes, and eradicating talent. The Right-wing establishment in action, the only action they are good at, enriching themselves and satisfying their lust for power.

Dr. Jensen, a fine Liberal with a Phd in physics and this is the man that that lot threw out.

And let’s not omit the CIS, IPA and HR Nicholls Society. These are all fronts for the Right-wing establishment that has destroyed the Victorian Division of the Liberal Party and is now doing the same to the Federal Liberal Party. I warned of this a few years ago and repeated it, that what the Right did to the Victorian Division they would do to the Federal Party and I was certain of it and here is why:

The Victorian Right stuffed Federal Seats with their trustees. They have also gained important machine posts - Alan Stockdale is one and he happens to be Federal President. Stockdale resigned his position as a Director of the IPA because of the appointment. Why does the phrase, can’t appear to have conflicts of interests, suggest itself so readily.

I warned the disease that is the Right would mutate into a Federal version of the Victorian strain and it has. Kroger, bye the bye, has worked hard to establish this Federally, helped by his mate Costello and their Toorak Brahman backers.

Well, this lot had tested and proven up their unique notion of “Liberalism” and political tactics in Victoria. Trained and ready, they couldn’t let themselves down and so they linked up with their cousins in the other states. Well now, that’s one less genuine Liberal they have to face in the Party rooms.

What another disgraceful, gutless, shocking act of treachery dealt against a good man and the Liberal Party by those parasites.

Oh, and one more thing, Mr Jensen supported genuine Liberal John Howard and Howard encouraged Mr. Jensen. This was the crime the Right had to avenge. More on this feature of the Right’s actions against Howard in a separate item that will be posted later today but for now, consider this as another insight into the Right.

Update: hard Left bastion ABC has just been informed of the scandal and, not unexpectedly, has just gleefully commenced running it.

Outspoken Liberal loses preselection again

Well, in addition to knifing Jensen, the Right can list this publicity as also one of their brilliant successes too, under the sub-heading of ’Our achievments in turning the Liberal Party into a laughing stock and butt of hard Leftists’ jokes. I can understand why.

The Right is the butt of the Left’s jokes every day, who call them clowns and buffoons. They resent this and so, in their ineffectual, tantrum throwing fury, exacted revenge by attempting to make the laughter sticks to also where it shouldn’t, the Liberal Party. This time they have succeeded.

Editor of IPA Review lies in order to damage the reputation of editor of Brookesnews

Chris Berg spins lies to defame a professional reputation and feeds them to John Humphreys to broadcast them, and on this site in comments to boot.

Equating IPA Review and its editor with Brookesnews and its editor is a bit like comparing broken chalk to a fine writing instrument. Politeness informed the courtesy.

The IPA-CIS trolls:

I wouldn’t bother about them but when they smear someone on my site, enough is enough. They are a reflection of what is behind them, so some of them can be assured, one’s concern isn’t the likes of Berg and John Humphreys.

I apply a few adjectives and sobriquets that might be considered strong, but anchored into solid reasons and this is something the Right and their troll club never learn. Their instant reaction is to jerk and come out smearing. They believe this is proper debate against any case, even those strictly reasoned, as their reactions to articles by Jackson on Brookesnews demonstrates. They never learn.

First, a correction. The “Right” isn’t an accurate adjective for those strangling the Liberal Party and their ‘think tanks’, the IPA, CIS, and HR Nicholls Society. What they are is a closed circle of venal self-promoters. They treat the Party and its causes as their exclusive ‘clubroom’.

They are not genuine Liberals but they and their anti-free market positions have been firmly fixed in the voting public eye as identical with the Party and the free market cause. The upshot is the grave dangers Australians have no choice but to face. Some important points to this need to be set out, but it is for a separate item.

It’s amusing watching the IPA-CIS trolls run around various sites, sticking their tongues out and squawking. Quality control has never been a strong point of the “Right”. It stretches credulity to associate even a hint of calibre with this lot. This is quite apart from their very unpleasant antics within the Liberal Party.

Enough, however, is enough. When they run around and impugn the reputations of others, and on this site too, I draw the line. We have marked the IPA-CIScampaign has extended to impugning the professional Dr. Frank Shostak. The IPA, bye the bye, leading this twist, is yet to do the decent thing and publicly denounce the trolls and issue a full apology to the two gentlemen and - give it directly to other parties before whom they have smeared Jackson (have they done this also against Shostak?).

It looks very much the case that the Editor of the Institute of Public Affairs’ IPA Review, Mr. Chris Berg, in order to damage the reputation of Jackson has invented a few lies. Oh, they are not clever; rather puerile. I remind readers of the intellectual calibre and integrity of the IPA’s editor below.

Berg’s pal, John Humphreys the psychopathic troll, dragged in Berg to invest, somehow, his tantrums with weightiness. Humphreys posted this in comments (13/7/09):

How do you know I’m not Berg? Oh yes, that’s right. You phoned him up and begged him to stop bagging you. Then you tried to get some of your ranting published in the IPA Review. It was then that you realised your terrible mistake and had to issue a grovelling apology - Berg is not ESS. Nor is Humphreys. You are Jackson though - or a reasonable facsimile, or just a thief, but always a moron.

Firstly, to muse, that “ESS” is not Berg was firmly established on this site by none other than Chris Berg’s other pals, including Jason Soon. It is also clear from their comments that they know who ESS is, Humphreys the troll.

Humphreys, by the use of the pronoun, is trying to dissemble for the umpteenth time that I am Jackson. Having offered a meeting to clarify this, Humphreys refused (with a thousand dollars on the table for him to show up, and he refused). I had offered to meet Berg some time before and, funnily enough, he refused.

During the exchange, in which it was attested Berg is not ESS, some commentators attested to who I am, Doug Bignell of Mt. Waverley. One was Prodos, whom I have conversed with and met.

In order to impugn and damage Mr. Jackson’s reputation, Humphreys relates accusations that, obviously, only Chris Berg could have told him. Berg would have everybody believe the conduct he accuses Jackson of, the conduct of a feeble, delinquent adolescent, much like Berg really (Humphreys is too, but with the added virtue of being a psychopathic troll).

Based on the calibre of Jackson, his work shows integrity and guts as well as his professorial learning, all that can be said of Berg’s slimy account is, it ain’t Jackson. Berg must enjoy living dangerously the wrong way. I certainly wouldn’t hang out in invite - ‘ Jackson, turn up on my doorstep.’ I reckon Jackson knows how to exchange pleasantries, if pressed.

I might add, I can’t even imagine Jackson, nor anyone else with a solid reputation in their field risking it by having their work published in a rag that is a standing joke, the IPA Review. The only reason why anyone of the first cut would agree would be to correct the bilge pumped out by the IPA Review. Ah! Berg is sensitive, in this regard, the complete pack of lies the IPA-Chris-Berg-Andrew Kemp published as history . Broadcasting a pack of lies, it seems, comes naturally to the Editor.

So, Berg tells puerile lies and Humphreys broadcasts them for one aim, to damage the professional reputation of Jackson. After all, Humphreys has stated Berg told him. He is certain, as the quote makes crystal clear.

Now it might be that Humphreys has, in this case, invented the lies and claimed Berg claims Berg told them to him. Berg, and as the Editor of the IPA Review, has to come forward and clean this up in public and Berg has to consider the choices:

1) If what Humphreys has related is true, Berg also owes Jackson an unqualified, public apology.

2) If Berg remains silent, he confirms Humphreys’ accusation that it was Berg who invented the smears. This means Berg, and not only Humphreys, is a liar, and malicious. Malice aforethought is an interesting expression, don’t you agree?

3) If Berg declares he did not level the lies, Humphreys is pinned again for the lying psychopath that he is and for, in this instance, also damaging Berg and the IPA. (IPA and Berg damage themselves as it is with the hard left serving bilge Berg writes in the IPA Review and for The Age aka “The Spencer Street Soviet”).

Berg has no choice but to go public on this and I am looking forward to what he has to declare. Besides, I want to see fireworks.

Taken with the campaign to impugn Jackson and Shostak, and the reaction to the item restating a few points and furnishing confirmation concerning manufacturing, what is shown is pure malice against Jackson, and recently extended against Shostak. Malice. What have they done to warrant this? What is their offence?

The two finest public defenders of the free markets in Australia and so the genuine Liberal cause must be hurtful to the “think tanks”. It must hurt mediocrities that there is material published that they cannot produce. Mediocrities cannot but feel, I suppose, cruelly treated, particularly when their defective ‘work’ discredits the free market cause and, for good measure, causes great damage to grave matters.

What is the danger Australians face compared to the inflated egos of self promoters seeking to separate funds from taxpayers courtesy of politicians and from shareholders courtesy of officers of firms who have been ’steered’?

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s not about Jackson, nor Shostak, that I use them. It is about truth and truth is the only weaponry and ammunition in what is now a very perilous ‘war’. It is unfortunate that it has to be fought on two fronts against,

- The Rudd Cabinet and the Left.

- The “Right”.

But even if things were not at such a pass, truth and principles still must come first. We see the importance of it: The “Right” put Australians last.

So, we see Berg and Humphreys engaged in another attempt to damage Jackson because, for some odd reason, Jackson puts principle first - truth, Australians, destroying the Left. Principles first; for failure in this entails dangers that can be too appalling to contemplate and there it is, the Rudd Cabinet and their ‘policies’.

I conclude with a couple of notes:

1. To make one thing clear again, I am not saying all in the IPA and CIS are malicious toward Jackson, and now Shostak. However, beyond doubt, there are rotten eggs in both basket cases and they are in need of a good cracking.

2. Jackson, and Shostak write soundly reasoned articles for the public from within their formidable learning in economics and as exponents of the Austrian school. To read one is to read the other, precisely because of their intellectual foundations.

Again, for instance, when I read Walter Block on labour market economics, I read Jackson. When I read other Austrian school economists on money I read Shostak and Jackson. Ditto on capital. All contentedly acknowledge and use accurately the seminal thinkers of the history of economics.

The CIS and IPA demonstrate no such grip at all. The impact of the defect is, they claim to be defending free markets when they have not even begun to arm themselves to do this. They don’t read. A blank sheet of paper is just as illuminating as that lot. Yet, they have the hide to smear two gentlemen who are equipped and are engaged.

Jackson’s articles presents an extensive bibliography. Jackson quotes are accurately used in argument. Jackson explains the background of what was in question, the hammering out of theory and by whom, when and what. The CIS and IPA show no learning whatsoever in economics, as their blank bibliographies and their under-grad textbook, error shot ‘economics’ papers show only too clearly.

If Jackson is wrong in economic reasoning, so must Shostak be wrong, and so too the Austrian school. The Right merely assert they that are wrong with out even a stroke of an effort to show why and where. In merely asserting they are wrong, they are asserting the Austrian school is wrong which is really hilarious in an idiotic way in the case of the CIS.

The CIS claims to be Hayekian experts. If this claim is true, they would know von Mises, Bohm-Bawerk, and so on, right down to current exponents and the killer is: nothing the CIS has published shows any penetration at all. All that they have mastered is spelling the name Hayek. This lot assumes that living in the man’s shadow makes them giants too. Jackson and Shostak, don’t live in Hayek’s shadow and they are giants.

3.  Jackson has never attacked Berg, Davidson, Humphreys, et al, ad hominem. He has correctly criticised position papers they have written. They have not mounted rebuttals of where, as they merely assert, Jackson is wrong. Instead, they resort to snide comments, and malicious, cowardly smear campaigns behind the man’s back, including on this site. They are not men, they are cowardly trolls who are also causing great damage to grave matters.

Their smear campaigns: malice; an undiluted hatred of Jackson’s standing as a learned free market economist of the first rank.

They extended it to Shostak.

Betting challenge to Greg Lindsay’s-CIS’ ”useful idiot”, John Humphreys

4.  I offer you, Humphreys, a thousand dollars to turn up but at double the money. Here it is:

A $2,000 dollar bet that you, Humphreys, or ESS as you prefer to call yourself, have lied. If you’re assertions against Jackson are true, it’s an easy $2,000 pay day and you’ll derive even greater pleasure in that I won’t get to see fireworks.

The IPA and the CIS can end this matter right now. All they have to do is, as stated above, disown the trolls.

The intellectual calibre of Chris Berg summed up, again:

- A complete pack of falsehoods he and his ‘co-author’, Andrew Kemp, purveyed as the history of economics asserting economics is indebted to Islam when it is solely Western. Jackson corrected the record.

Berg then, as ‘rebuttal’, decided to re-write the history of theology (and by inference, he didn’t realise it, philosophy) declaring it is due to Islam too. I corrected that tissue of fabrications.

This history, Western history, and the history of reasoning and in the case of economics, of economic theory and thinking, treated with contempt and mocked.

Published in The Age aka “The Spencer Street Soviet”, articles such as

- Articles praising Che Guevara and Raul Castro, two mass murdering Stalinists, and following the election of Obama, Raul Castro is intensifying the oppression of Cubans and there is no need to spell out what that means.

- Commends to Australian teenagers that they plaster tee-shirts and their bedroom walls with admiring, adulatory pictures of Guevara, and Adolf Hitler.

Jewish acquaintances, who survived Auschwitz and Buchenwald are not impressed, and neither are their families.

The only beneficiary of such articles is the hard Left. It saves them writing them and from being hit for it.

This is before considering his ‘classics’ in  economics. Regulation, for instance, which he concedes and the problem is, regulation is the extension of anti-free market assumptions, and very destructive is that of the myth of perfect competition.

Red Ted Baillieu mocks justice and victims of crime

In, Victorian Bushfire Disaster Commission: A cover up, one put for consideration:

… the overthrow of inalienable rights in Victoria and the usurpation of the Rule of Common Law is matched by the staggering rise in violent crime. Both in rate and the sheer stomach churning violence of it. In overthrowing rights… the Victorian Executive has broken its real oath sworn duty and, for good measure, has stuffed the judiciary with enough who have said the thing that pleases lawless politicians, ‘the “Law” is behind them’. Another telling symptom is:

Those guilty of horrifying crimes laugh in Courts as Judges hand down non-sentences… Meanwhile, should the law-abiding defy decree No. 2001324, it is they who are in for it; Cabinet comes down on them with all the punitive force they can muster. Indeed, a very telling contrast.

A rally to be held in the streets of Melbourne was arranged last week. One first heard of it on Sunday morning. It was to protest against the high rate of violent crime. Things came to a head in recent weeks with Indian undergraduates targeted in brutal bashings and stabbings.

Why has it taken so long for Victorians to decided to ‘rebel’, when over years thugs have been bashing, stabbing, raping and murdering hapless pedestrians, train commuters, modest men and women in their own homes? It is testament to either masochistic stubborn endurance beyond tolerance or, they are well brow beaten into hapless acceptance of violation of all their inalienable rights by the Victorian Triumvirate of politicians, bureaucrats and ‘judges’.

Add on the likes of neo-Marxist Christine Nixon, who busily neutered hard crime fighting police units such as the former Armed Robbery Squad, and police are as frustrated as the public that they are paid to defend. The ‘crime’ of the ARS, by the way, in the eyes of the Triumvirate, was to hit very dangerous criminals hard. They were also an unpleasant reminder to the Triumvirate and their former police Commissar, Nixon, of why they were converting the Force into their neo-Marxist vision of neutered ‘carers’ learning the ropes of ‘bureaucratese’. Upstanding police gnash their teeth ceaselessly.

The rally was intended to be a defiant, angry clarion call: “Enough is enough!” Well, the Triumvirate, disturbed, seized control and turned it into a group hug in, “Harmony Day”. Nothing to do with the Rule of Common Law and so justice. Just bomb-out the uppity serfs with false sentiments and they’ll forget the day they were bashed, stabbed, raped, and relatives murdered and the reason why all this violence is a daily feature of Melbourne and Victoria.

The Herald Sun,which has degenerated into a cartoon parody of The Age aka “The Spencer Street Soviet”, clapped its cute little hands with joy. It gushed hogwash, acclaiming how wonderfully harmonious all Victorians are ordered to be,

Harmony falls on our city

Kelly Ryan, 13/07/09

The world was as one on the streets of  multi-cultural Melbourne yesterday.

They bore their nationalities in words and costume.

How nice. Comfy now? The editor might explain what number decree Universal Harmony is? It is easily missed among the millions of decrees that have been rammed down by Cabinet, and Parliament.

Ted Baillieu wanted a show of force, but what pretends to be Liberal MPs found a Sunday snooze-in much more interesting and one would agree but for an objection. They, and the rest of the Liberal Party wreckers helped build Brackistan. That parody, “Harmony Day” is as much a monument to their stupidity as it is to Bracks’, Brumby’s, Hulls’ and the rest of their Cabinets. They should have been out there in force feeling all that ‘harmony’. Leftists do enjoy the 7 days a week, 365 days a year comedy show that that lot is:

RED TED: Liberal leader orders his troops to march on Brumby’s Harmony Day

”Multi-culturalism” is only one of the crude means to overthrowing the Rule of Common Law and the Idiot “Right” have happy clapped all the way with it. Another way of accurately summing up multi-culturalism is; it is the Balkanisation of Victoria, and Australia. Someone help Ted Baillieu find the Balkans on a nice large map.

Ted Baillieu and the rest of what are supposed to be Liberal Party MPs, and their backers stand for nothing recognisably genuinely Liberal. Michael Kroger and his chums are responsible for this, having taken control of the Liberal Party and eradicated genuine Liberal principles, and ensured no genuine Liberal talent emerged in the Party.

Besides, why should talent emerge? So successful have that lot been in evacuating the Liberal Party of substance, there are no genuine Liberal Party members left. The upshot is that a fatuous, little man is the leader of the Liberal Party in Parliament with nothing to replace him.

A note on Kroger: He holds no executive office in the Liberal Party. Yet, he exercises control. He wouldn’t enter  genuine open Party contests for positions because he’d be pulped. Besides, he doesn’t need to.

A correction, my mistake:

Calling what sits on top a Triumvirate is an insult to real tough nuts, Roman emperors and the imperial administration. You just cannot draw the association with what tries to lord it over Victorians, seizing their inalienable Rights, grinding them down with taxes and scams called ‘alternative energy’ and ‘desalination plants’, and vicious little regulations. What really scares this lot of parasites is the day when they face Victorians gunning for them and booting them into the Yarra River.

This is not what the Liberal Party should be doing now, demolishing the Left. This is what they should have done years ago but we know why these spineless seat warmers have not and besides:

They would not hold Parliamentary seats in the name of the Liberal Party, if it were not for Kroger Kronies and Resurrectionists, KKR, and their backers.

Resurrectionists: Toadies who creep into cemeteries, dig up dead bodies and stuff them into Parliamentary seats and Party machine positions, with a twist; this lot shoot the living to make sure there are vacancies for their cadavers. Kroger is busy stuffing one into the seat of Higgins right now.

Michael Kroger is also a Director of the Institute of Public Affairs, along with William Morgan, whom Kroger hand-picked to establish a student branch of the Liberal Party at RMIT. It started with a membership of one, and remained at one. William is also son of Hugh Morgan -

destroyer of multi-billion dollar WMC. Hugh Morgan put his speech writer and fellow destroyer of the fight for free labour markets, Ray Evans onto the WMC payroll and also, for good measure, diseased Leftist and Greens fanatic, Trish Caswell.

Morgan’s appointment of Caswell to the WMC’s ‘advisory panel’ was quite a scandal, as David Revelman also recalls with great irritation in:

Dry: In Defence of Economic Freedom. A barren response from the Institute of Public Affairs

Morgan couldn’t see what is wrong with Caswell.

Inalienable Rights abuse, taxpayers abuse, Victorians abuse, Australians abuse, Liberal Party and members abuse, shareholders abuse, enterprise and free markets abuse; they all slide into one another as haze in the distance - just business as usual for this lot.

Now, with Ron Walker and de Crespigney, Morgan wants to enrich himself all over again through billions of dollars of transfers into their ‘nuclear energy company’, requiring destroying more valuable, economically efficient, large scale enterprises called coal based energy companies via carbon taxes. And never mind, either, the subsequent impact on other firms, their employees and investors, and on consumers.

This lot consider themselves brains. Man, it shows.

Conversation with an Engineer. IPA, Chris Berg, Professor Sinclair Davidson stunned

They are overwhelmingly contradicted. They have no defence. What is set out below smashes their lousy economics that cheers only the hard Left.

Early last month, following the release of the AIG’s manufacturing index in May report showing the 12 consecutive month of fall, I mused we are entering the 13 month of contraction. The AIG’s June report is out and, I was spot on. Mind, I had some good reason to speculate on what has proven out. Though anecdotal, friends and acquaintances and contacts were relating contraction by firms and shut-downs, and secondly there was nothing to suggest the decline would be arrested any time soon. It, to suggest, is a reasonable bet to say we are into the 14th straight month of contraction.

What makes the damage worse is that it compounds the damage caused by taxation, inclusive of regulation, under ALP and Coalition Cabinets. Peter Costello alone, when Treasurer, intensified taxes already in place when he became Treasurer. Taxes that saw, for example, firms such as Hoechst, ICI and Heinz shut-down production in Australia. Hawke and Keating were warned, in the case of Hoechst and ICI, of what the final upshot would be. Peter Costello not only intensified those taxes, he multiplied taxes. This, of course, does not include the crushing burdens rammed down by States’ Cabinets and Local Councils.

So, putting the two together, one conclusion stands out like a flashing lighthouse; Australians are in deep trouble. Deep trouble, due to the anti-free market monetary policies of the RBA, and anti-free market policies of the Left and of the Right. The lousy economics of the Right and their ‘think tanks’, CIS, IPA, and HR Nicholls Society, was the final catastrophe. After all, they slung the Rudd Cabinet into office.

On the weekend, I enjoyed a chance conversation with an engineer, who is now taking a rest, as it were, from manufacturing as a University lecturer. This lecturer is very concerned, because he as do many engineers fully appreciates lousy monetary and economic policies (that issue also into destructive taxation) saps production; hollows it out. As a lecturer, he holds no fanciful expectations of the prospects for new engineers and those graduating over the next couple of years.

The engineer despises hard Left ‘economists’ such as Watts, Legge, and Quiggin. He knows what these hard Leftists stand for. Yet, he also fully appreciates that the likes of these three enjoy oxygen only because of, and quote, “the clowns in the IPA and CIS“. His lips positively curled in a nasty manner, which could be mistaken for a smile but it would not be advisable to make it, at the name Professor Sinclair Davidson.

The Right make assertions they never defend but, as if they were the Pope, declaring ex-cathedra as truth all must believe without question, and obey them. The distinction is, Popes can only do so out of the creed of the Church and in strict agreement with the Creed. It amounts to no more than explanatory clarification. Any statement failing strict tests has no force at all, irrespective of what an offending Pope and supportive ecclesiastics might pretend.

The Right pronounce ex-cathedra. Making this all the worse is that to do so assumes at least principles held and, in their case, as doctrine as opposed to mere (apparently) sound theory. They have none, and their economics is worse.

So, jointly with Chris Berg, Professor Sinclair Davidson, pontificated on manufacturing. When Jackson challenged their assertions, criticism worked up from within a solid framework of theory, Davidson’s response was silence on the substantive contentions. Davidson, with the Right-wing troll club in full brainless support, instead chose the typical response of the Right, snide comments - mainly among themselves and ad-hominem smears.

Now, neither Mr. Jackson nor Dr. Shostak write ‘ex-cathedra’, as their well reasoned articles for the layman demonstrate. Secondly, they don’t expect what they set to go unchallenged. Like all good Professors of a sound field of learning, if the case they put is flawed, they expect it to be rebutted and demonstrate their willingness to defend what they put. Things are, however, worse for Davidson and Berg (Berg, being a cretin, cannot be expected to defend anything requiring neuronal capacity greater than a half-witted, lobotomised snail -hmmph, Davidson is no great shake either).

Besides his cowardice, Davidson has yet to explain why his assertion that the inverse of the J curve is false. The trouble is, it is true. Jackson raised it in his article as a serious consideration. Next, Davidson now has a greater problem.

Davidson might try to explain away the flood of evidence rolling in confirming the crucial argument from theory in Jackson’s paper: due to an over-valued exchange rate, the danger it engenders is that manufacturing will be hollowed out. The suggestion is now confirmed by a tidal wave of evidence! Evidence that spells misery for too many Australians and real reduction in the prosperity of Australians.

What defence does Davidson have left? Oh, I know: “Please Sir, I gave the correct, undergraduate, parrot learnt, stock analysis”. Here is the gravamen of Jackson’s article:

Davidson and Berg… are clearly arguing that not only is there no market failure but that the market is succeeding in allocating resources to where they are most valued. At least they are half right. There is no market failure. What they overlooked, however, is the possibility of monetary failure. This is not surprising considering that orthodox economics totally ignores the existence of the production structure and treats money as being strictly neutral. Put simply: if a country runs an overvalued currency for sometime could this affect its manufacturing base? Yes it can.

Is monetary policy destroying the country’s manufacturing base?

In view of that paper, and the AIG report, here are more devastating conclusions - Monetary policy stays tight as economy tanks.

It can hollow out a country’s manufacturing base. It should also be kept in clear view that the notion of ‘market failure’ is an expression that is used to attack free markets. There is no market failure as such.

It is pertinent to remark that I was observing anecdotally contraction in manufacturing over a few years to an incuding 2008. Some of it, a tremendous amount of investment falling under the burden or taxation. I certainly could not gainsay anything more, certainly not on the impact of the RBA’s monetary expansion until evidence was available, which is what the AIG index is. However, there was a very telling report published in 2008 that I commented on:

EL Consult Australia’s Executive Demand Index report released on the 11th of September, 2008. On the 12th , Mr. Montgomery of EL Consult was interviewed on ABC radio about the report and the trends its Index describes, and predictions generated out of the analysis for employment and unemployment. It was devastating evidence, and so to repeat from,

Centre for Independent Studies and Professor Sinclair Davidson should - Desist from “Thumping the table”.

Executive employment records its tenth fall in twelve months  (To September 2008)

“Employment opportunities for executives have dropped further last month now showing a total of ten monthly falls over the last year.

“According to the E.L. Executive Demand Index this now equates to a total decline in available executive positions over the past year of over seventeen percent (17.34%).

“According to the E.L. Executive Demand Index this now equates to a total decline in available executive positions over the past year of over seventeen percent (17.34%).”

“Produced since 1992, the E.L. Executive Demand Index has been found to be highly predictive of the direction of the general job market.”

Non-executive employment trends lags behind hiring of executives. The Index is an indicator of what will follow these trends in non executive hiring. It is a relationship that I have observed and analysed anecdotally, firm by firm from their financial reports, because what is also important about any firm’s payroll planning is that it is important evidence of its production and investments plans for a period ahead. Now, what we have is a consulting firm, EL Consult Australia, that has developed an Index of this relationship.

The killer blow is where the nearly 20% fall in hiring of executives is, engineering. It is in the production of capital goods. Montgomery related that it is not simply a fall in hiring. Engineering executives are also not being replaced. In the radio interview, Mr. Montgomery himself stated the obvious conclusion: new investment in capital is not simply coming to a grinding halt.

Extensive contraction and reduction of capital in production of capital goods has been occurring over a long period and will continue over a long period ahead. This means, as Montgomery himself also observed during that interview, the capacity to produce goods in the future is being extinguished.

Montgomery lifted out the above with the telling point:

Engineers are required for production of capital goods, the building of plant and their maintenance for production. This is not occurring. It follows, all other types of labour hired for these operations will be cut; hiring will fall at a shockingly high rate. For the manufacturing states, Victoria and NSW, what is in train is devastating.

The AIG report is grim confirmation.

To repeat, extrapolation from payroll plans is not direct evidence but very good indications of business spending plans, what is occurring. It is the confirmation data such as the AIG Index that is the final acid test of what is occurring. Given the qualification, the EL index has force and putting the two together we find this:

EL’s report covers September 2007 to Sept 2008.

AIG’s monthly Index covers May-2008 to June 2009.

So, we have a trajectory from September 2007 indicating contraction was already occurring and will continue to occur, and AIG’s which provides hard confirmation. Three years Australia has been in recession, and:

Jackson was warning over years before 2007 of what the RBA’s criminal monetary expansion would cause. But he didn’t merely warn. His warning was generated out of theoretical analysis and explanation. The test of sound theory is prediction. Dr. Frank Shostak was furnishing the same.

The Right ignored them and during the crucial years, when sound corrective action might have been taken. Over ten long years when the Coalition held the Treasury Benches. For a little over a decade they sat on their backsides and presided over the destructive actions of the RBA and added their own destructive economic policies.

Through it all, the Right’s “think tanks” published rubbish, and from merely ignoring the likes of Jackson and Shostak (whom else did they ensure was never used by Howard), also proceeded to impugn the professional reputations of those who actually do the work the Right cannot manage in a fit. How many more have they smeared is a very good question

The Right put Australians into grave peril because it was all about them. Referring back to the item on the EL report:

Montgomery was asked:

“Won’t the W.A. mining boom compensate for the decline in manufacturing?”

He replied:

“The boom will come to an end but even if it didn’t, it still does not help the other states.”

He is basically correct. It must be observed that the boom is due to inflation. It should also be observed, demand is overseas… (mining) in W.A. has become integrated into China’s production structure. There is nothing wrong with this as such. The rub is, it is not Australian firms buying raw materials for transformation and supplying other companies with materials for conversion into not only consumer goods, but also into capital goods for future production.

That the capital structure in Australia might in fact be far smaller than many assume, is confirmed. The implications of this, as the recession deepens, are appalling, and these before imposition of central planning and Co2 taxation…

Lastly, it is important to stress again:

Jackson also pointed out in his article that bad economics on manufacturing can fuel calls for “Industry policy”, which is a euphemism for central planning. Yet, this is exactly what the conclusion to the Davidson-Berg-IPA position paper invited and not merely fuelled. Positively invited it, to the delight of Minister Kim “Il”‘ Carr. Well, the Rudd Cabinet is really busy at it and with knobs on.

The evidence is overwhelming, as it continues rolling in in tidal waves. What disturbs the Right and their ‘think tanks’ is not the impact of nigh criminal policies, Co2 taxation certainly is. What has them howling out of high umbrage is being held to account for the singular fact that they too are directly responsible for many of them. This is why they also flood this site, not to rebut what I have laid out, so far (there’s much more to unload) on what they did to Victorians, to the Liberal Party, and to Australia, but to stick their tongues out and say, “Nyeh, Nyeh”.

Now, one of them is “ESS”. We know he is not Chris Berg. “ESS” is pretending that he is not Greg Lindsay’s CIS electronic megaphone John  Humphreys (we’ll humour him) and that he is resident in Melbourne. Maybe he is, but this does not remove the blinding fact that he is a member of the Right that has caused so much damage.

Next, if the CIS is thus ruled out, ESS must be in the IPA. If this schizophrenic, retarded brat is not Chris Berg, then he could be one of the following, to float a few names, David Kemp, Andrew Kemp, John Roskam, Ray Evans, Michael Kroger, William son of Hugh Morgan…

David Kemp once foamed at the mouth when he was Minister for the fanatical Greens cult against scientists who had the nerve to point out:

The claim Co2 emissions causes climate change is without the slimmest of shreds supported in science. That it is false, a lie.

That computer modelling is not science; it is also charlatanism.

I’ve witnessed Kemp in action and close up, when I was a youngster, attempting to intimidate someone in an audience and the audience. There was a noticeable volley of drawn breaths. Thuggery comes naturally to the Right.

The IPA, bye the bye, under Mike Nahan initiated smearing of Jackson. We have observed their latest initiative, to impugn the professional reputation of Dr. Frank Shostak too.

Some readers might still be uncertain as to why I enjoy ripping the guts out of the Right and why I find their claims to be free market warriors worse than risible - it’s a downright lie. To those readers, I trust the above has dispelled any remaining doubts and will realise how much damage these bastards have caused and continue to cause, and why the diseased Left is in Office.

As for the CIS and carbon taxation. They didn’t merely pontificate ex - cathedra. They did so also because they fully support this capital destroying and totalitarian measure.
