I don’t have all that much to say about myself
It is routinely considered to be the hardest task. The first post of a blog. just to get the ball rolling, the dust cleared out and the unsuitable analogy concerning starting, started.
Assume of course, that should you actually start writing something at all even slightly meaningful, the assorted nutjobs from far and wide, will descend on you like the proverbial ton-o’-bricks, for daring to defend/dispute the prevailling paradigm.
So it is always safer to merely tread the boards. Not stray too far from the path of whichever riteousness that is considered the daily norm. Take the current debate / diatribe concerning Islam. Now were an observant, nay, observing student to pose the observation that Islam as a religion, bears closer resemblance in religiosity and moral values as a pack of soccer hooligans. The howls of protest would be unbearable. Equally so, the jihad placed upon my person and family, might make life a tad difficult.
This is of course, despite the daily evidence to prove the conclusion. Despite all of this, it is probably safer just to observe the irony that in order to dispute the Pope’s conclusion that Islam was breeding a culture of violence, Violence erupted in the wake of his comments.
Ah, sweet irony, it doesn’t just mean like metal anymore.
