So Who Is Still Around?
Blair reported recently that the number of bloggers around the world have dramatically fallen over time. Aparently over 200 million have fallen off the blogging wagon so to speak.
Curiously, this post almost coincided with my return to regular blogging. I am not really sure if that is an indictment on my contrariness, or just coincidence, but I seem to have a few things to say at the moment.
But it got me thinking about those who have fallen by the wayside.
Those that have followed the rise and fall of this blog over the years would be aware that I was previously involved with Murph in the special sauce site. This was a part of the Gravett empire. Oh to think of those wonderul times of the past when we devoted our daily toil to pillage and destruction.
We had comrades on the path to victory. Paul and Carl, Marty, The Yobbo at one stage and other sundry assorted of the rank and file of right wing bloggers.
We even had a regular drinking group but unfortunately sometimes life intrudes on art.
So I reckon it is about time we got together for a drink.
The last I heard Murph was still freezing his goolies of in the UK, Marty was shacked up with his Phillipino Mail order sex slave and The Australian Airforce had arrested Bikko for impersonating an enlistee.
Kev is still around I think? And Dan is still a bastard. I doubt anything will change there. Darlene Taylor whilst still blogging is down in the deepest darkest depths of Melbourne, so for all practical purposes, can be consdered to be dead as well. Maybe we should get a few ring ins. I was always disappointed that Niall never turned up to one of our shindigs.
There are new friends around though. Nick and Nora are just down the coast and just up the coast we have the Mild Colonial Boy so they may make the trip up and down respectively to civilisation. There are a few frighteningly dull lefties floating around who might make up the numbers and Andrew Bartlett is still pushing out his drivel on an almost daily basis.
So if you are keen, leave a comment with a time and date. I think a place is the usual, Brekky Creek Hotel. Other suggestions will be politely derided and scorned. OK, maybe not so politely, but leave them anyway for the amusement of all concerned.

I’m afraid I’m not able to attend due to logistical problems and the conflict between maintaining anonymity and socializing.
However I would publise this get-together of RWDBs and Conservatives on my own Web Journal - only I don’t know when it begins? 6.00? 6.30? 7.30?

While I am all for mindless interactions between the contestants, Noddy, I would hope that they at least understand the rudimentaries of the conversational art. Or can at least put a sentance together in some sort of meaningful way.
The other rule is the same as in your average State School classroom, if you are going to indulge in mind altering substances I hope you brought enough for all the children and a double dose for the teacher.
